  1. That did crack the CL the door for ever so slighty for shit. Villa can now finish on a max of 70 points; shit finish on 72 and in the CL if they win out (Villa have +7 GD on them currently). Or at least all they need to do is win their next two and go into the city match with something to play for. ... Who am I kidding? This is shit I'm talking about.
  2. Yeah, uh, no. Edited for reality. All we can do is finish strong and go again next year.
  3. Yeah Fernando wasn't pleased...
  4. I'm going to get you a nice fruit basket. I'm going to miss him...
  5. Shitty’s going to drill wolves by three or four today. Fullham are playing out the string, and Spurs are cooked. West Ham, in Moyes’ last match, is the only real chance they slip. And even then I’d give them less than 15%.
  6. Bournemouth should have been down to 10 after that challenge on Saka; the pen likely was a makeup call (although we’ve seen noted cocksucker Arry Kane get that call every single fucking time for over a decade). At this point, I think an opponent could attack Starboy with a machete and the ref would wave for him to get on with it. Outside of that… we dominated them and should have been 5-nil up by the time they fouled Raya in the box. If we sent West Ham an extra £20m this summer, I’d be ok with it. Rice was a steal at £105 and worth every penny. Every single one I think a big part of Martinelli’s reduced production this year is a result of the instability on the left side. He played ahead of Xhaka and Zinny every week last season, and they had a great understanding between the three of them; especially between Gabby and Xhaka. This year… totally different story. Left 8 has been in flux. Not to mention, Trossard emerged as our most clinical finisher. If we get another DM and move Rice to left 8, I bet we see a Gabby resurgence next year. He’s too good. We could potentially finish the League season 16-1-1 and not win the title That’s how insane of a machine Pep and 115 financial violations have built. But then again, we lost five matches; four is usually the max a PL winner can afford. What is really hurting us now is not seeing off the final 7’ plus stoppage at home v Fullham when we were up a goal and they were down a man. All that said… these boys and the boss have really grown this year. We now have the mettle to get it done next year (if shitty don’t slip. Dear God let them slip.) Now let’s clean up some manure. GOYG!!!
  7. “Variations on a Theme” Muff, egg, chee, Opa’s jap & chee, hot sauce. Black coffee
  8. Hells yes. Not much better than a leftover meatloaf sammich.
  9. CBS' CL show is quickly ascending the ranks. It's not "Inside the NBA" level yet, but it's really good.
  10. That or Newey goes to Ferrari, nails the 2026 regs and designs a rocketship for Charles and Lewis that enables them to both routinely routinely finish ahead of Max.
  11. Maybe he wants to design for Ferrari. After all, Ferrari are Ferrari, the strongest brand with the deepest history in the sport. They could also let him stretch and design a roadcar if he wants. Or maybe he wants to sail around the world (he will turn 66 in December). My guess is he goes to Ferrari.
  12. Not to mention we have to purchase Raya (or shell out another big fee for a No1) and a No2 keeper. Rambo's gone for sure, as likely are a few Hale End products (Eddie, Reiss, and sadly ESR... man, I'll be sad to see him go) to raise funds since they're pure profit. Maybe move on from Fabio Vieira, too. As for Partey... these past two matches have shown just what he brings when healthy; he's Jorginho and Rice rolled into one. The best ability is availability, and he usually doesn't have great availability. A replacement will run us around 60m or higher. Arteta has eight guys he will start even if they're bleeding from the mouth and both legs are falling off, maybe three others he'll use in situational/sub roles, and pretty much the rest don't play. That's 11 guys he trusts, and thus burns them into the ground. That number needs to be around 14-15 if we are to seriously compete for the PL title and play in the latter stages of the CL.
  13. Username checks out.
  14. We hate s*it and all, but that’s always a tricky fixture. This was our 7th win at their place in the PL era (32 years). Even the Invincibles, who won the League at White Hart Lane, drew there. Clinical 1H, squeaky bum 2H. It never should have gotten that close in the 2H, but we held our nerve. Maybe they can make themselves useful for a change and take points off shitty. Happy St Tots, boys. COYG!!!
  15. Pulled up London on Google Maps, and this is all I see…
  16. Oh, and obligatory…
  17. We need to keep playing; very hard to sit this deep for 7 mins. 100%
  18. That was a pen; we’d be furious if it wasn’t given against us. Come on Arsenal. Get your heads together and see this out We were cruising, they looked resigned, then Raya lit the match on fire….
  19. Well we’re in the shit now. Literally.
