  2. * vaya (can't believe @DDD Dad didn't get here already)
  3. Can you actually explain what you mean by socialist and capitalist? In what ways would you say he was a socialist?
  4. It is certainly a convenient framework for an argument to state that "reasonable people should be able to agree...". I think I'm a reasonable person and I would definitely say that I think a reasonable person should be able to agree that a woman should not have to be forced to support a growing mass of tissue in her body. You will clearly disagree. Ergo you are unreasonable.
  5. Ah yes, with the dreaded quote of "when retail security goes wrong, amirite?". Never before in the history of man have more politically-charged words been said. You are such a ninny.
  6. Good Lord, Taylor Hamm is jealous of @Onboard 2.0's performance in this thread. Every single point he has made is completely incorrect. I know that his radio station makes some questionable assertions sometimes but this is new achievement!
  7. @DonkeyCigars will be here momentarily to explain how this is totally OK because language evolves and words like socialism, Marxism, and CRT can mean anything we want them to.
  8. It was a pretty fucking blatant PI.
  9. I know you know this, but there was nothing random about this killing.
  10. Are we sure this isn't just from watching the Kings from courtside for the last 20 years?
  11. Ummm, will this school play football? And does the old University in Austin have to play them? Asking for someone who wants to bet a lot of money on the new University.
  12. Everyone's different and I'm not kink-shaming, but at least for me there's definitely a large spectrum between seeing Kathy Bates Naked > seeing Texas lose to Kansas > eating out Kathy Bates' ass.
  13. You're a lot easier (and cheaper) to fire. It's the truest solution in all organizations known in mankind's history. Sorry Wulaw.
  14. Jesus, you're telling me Sark didn't even have Casey start the whole game? Just how much did he start?
  15. Fuck you you stupid cunt for bringing Eyes shit into OT of a game thread.
  16. Hah, it's funny because Dora is Hispanic, and so is Linda Hidalgo!
  17. You are giving their audience too much respect. They'll just brand this as "Pfeizermectin" and say it's really Pfeizer that is admitting it was wrong all the time, and that this is Pfizer trying to sneak it in. Do you think their audience gives an actual shit about the mechanism of the medicine or how it is different than ivermectin?
  18. I can only imagine Slorch's sadness at learning that a woman DIDN'T defend her home by killing a 7 year old this Halloween, just pointed her gun at him. HE WAS ON HER PROPERTY!!!! BUDA, Texas (KTRK) -- Trick-or-treating turned into a nightmare for a 7-year-old when a woman pointed a gun at the child. On Sunday, Oct. 31 at 7:20 p.m. police in Buda, Texas said officers responded to reports of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. At the scene, police learned 35-year-old Monica Ann Bradford was yelling at children who were walking outside her residence trick-or-treating.While she yelled at the kids, at one point, Bradford left her home with a loaded gun and pointed it at a 7-year-old, police said.
  19. Hell, I would even go so far as to say it's really 3/3a/3b/3c when you add in UC-D. Realistically, the 7th best UC school is, at worst, on par with the 2nd best Texas school.
  20. Wasn't trying to be pissy or play gotcha, but I get that was what I conveyed. My bad, but appreciate the response.
  21. @Sbbruin, obviously you are under no obligation to answer, but just curious. Do you think what the Dodgers did is not cheating? Cheating but not as big of a deal / impact? Cheating but everyone does it? Other?
  22. Ah yes, just the normal "either shredding contracts before MLB saw them or doctoring documents before sending them to the Office of the Commissioner" to violate Cuban embargos was done purely as a humanitarian gesture. There was certainly no goal of gaining a competitive advantage by breaking clearly established rules. To suggest otherwise would imply that they were cheating, which we know is impossible. After all, I'm sure that every organization keeps a handy Excel sheet demonstrating just how criminal their employees are:
  23. Umm, no. He's one of the poster children for "Can't talk about masks! that's CR!" and drive-by negging of any vaccine discussion (along with @Chief Ouray). Both big-time Covid-19 deniers.
  24. Just a point that hippies may still be saying Ulla but the cool kids are all into the UllaDubUlla. But definitely plus rep for one of the finest and cheesiest albums of the 70's. Would love to have been in the studio for the direction: "Days of Future Passed, but more so".
