  1. Holy shit, Texas just went from +1500 to +1300, Miami to +570, the gap is closing quickly.
  2. This is good. The CFP will need to put as much distance between Miami and ND now. Best solution move Texas ahead of Miami.
  3. This. People are so 1 dimensional in their thought process. You think Gunner Stockton wouldve beaten last year's Texas D with time to prepare? No
  4. Texas has moved from +1800 to +1500 in the last 15 minutes make the playoffs. Notre Dame shifted form -375 to -355. Miami has started shifting back, they are at +540 now.
  5. Texas has moved from +2000 to +1800 to make the playoffs in the last hour. AND you can now bet "No" on Texas making making the playoffs, instead of just yes.
  6. Disagree. He got this team to 3 losses. They have shown real growth. That means he is teaching character, resilience, and fortitude. Let's see what he does next year.
  7. And you think Elko or Venetard is? You think Freeman can? LOL
  8. They have to give Bama that buffer to lose and only fall 1 spot and not drop out, so putting them at 9 makes sense, ND can jump to 9 if Bama loses to UGA. Bama would still be in at 10. Probably should put Texas at 12 in that situation to avoid the Miami head to head argument. Then we just need to pray that Simpson breaks his leg in an ugly loss and we are in. Easy peasy.
  9. ND has gone from -1200 to -375 to make the playoffs, just today. Texas has gone from +4000 to make the playoff to +2000. Looks like our odds are bad but improving.
  10. My guess is that they realized they might get dropped in the rankings if they didnt keep some continuity of staff and so they brought back Weiss because Kiffin was a bridge too far with the bad blood.
  11. It was one quarter. It was 14-10 entering the 4th quarter despite a mountain of ref fuckery.
  12. The Vegas odds dont reflect that. Vegas seems divided on ND or Bama being more vulnerable to sliding out of the top 10 at some point. If you go by the Vegas odds, we will come in behind Miami at 13.
  13. We would be even more out than we are now because people would say Texas had a losing record against top 10 teams and could only win at home.
  14. Arkansas at Texas was the highest rated game last week with 5.6 million viewers This week it was 1. Texas vs Aggy 13.8 million 2. Ohio State-Michigan 12.4 million 3. Auburn vs Bama 9.8 million
  15. The convenient thing everyone is forgetting is that not all bad losses are built equal. Texas played Florida who is stacked with 5 star caliber talent, everyone is acting like we lost to El Paso. Florida is not the same as losing to South Carolina, Baylor, or FSU. They have an actual intimidating home environment and legitimate history/previous success to their name. Kind of the same reason that LSU was able to keep in it with OU, had that game been at Baton Rouge, OU wouldve lost.
  16. My prediction: 1. Ohio State (12-0) 2. Indiana (12-0) 3. Georgia (11-1) 4. Texas Tech (11-1) 5. Oregon (11-1) 6. Ole Miss (11-1) 7. Texas A&M (11-1) 8. Notre Dame (10-2) 9. Texas (9-3) 10. Oklahoma (10-2) 11. Alabama (10-2) 12. BYU (11-1) 13. Vanderbilt (10-2) 14. Miami (10-2) 15. Utah (10-2) OR I could see: 6. Ole Miss (11-1) 7. Texas A&M (11-1) 8. Oklahoma (10-2) 9. Alabama (10-2) 10. BYU (11-1) 11. Texas (9-3) 12. Miami (10-2) 13. Notre Dame (10-2) 14. Vanderbilt (10-2) 15. Utah (10-2)
  17. Actually, you want BYU to barely win, a blowout for TTU lets them get pushed out of the playoffs and no chaos occurs.
  18. No shot. Ole Miss wont be penalized AT ALL imo.
  19. This is so easy to fix. 1 G5 scrub champion for legal purposes. Big 12 champion is in, ACC champion is in, ACC and Big 12 runner up play each other for another spot. 5 auto bids for SEC and BIG, ranks 1-5 in the conference. 2 at larges to any teams left out or that dont have a conference.
  20. Are you emphasizing that how you look at the end of the season is irrelevant to who should be selected for the playoffs? I dont want a team limping into the playoffs if an equal alternative is available that is on the upswing. Our loss to OSU should carry similar weight to a CCG loss. Both optional sorts of games against top ranked opponents.
  21. We got our third losing to UGA on the road. They got their third losing to UGA at a neutral site.
  22. It is the best win of the year, even better then our win over Aggy. But their loss at home to OU is very ugly because of how badly they played in that loss. Same with their loss to FSU. A loss to UGA that is convincing might make the committee think their win was a fluke and that they have been trending the wrong way, which they have. I dont think they are a lock yet.
  23. Correct. The QB got hurt in the 1st quarter against Vandy
  24. We need to stop with this whole, "they were a top 25 team when we played them" business. It should be based off what they are in the CFP at the end of the season. Like Pitt obviously shouldnt be ranked. Missouri never shouldve been ranked. But look at Texas's wins. All solid top 15 CFP teams. The losses? Top 3 CFP teams on the road.
