2025 NFL Draft
I looked at five mocks whose info/process I respect (DJ, Allbright, Brugler, Schrager, Band), and listed out on how many of those mocks the following players missed the first round in.. this might give a good idea who might not go tonight Luther Burden- 5 Mason Taylor- 4 Will Johnson- 3 James Pearce- 3 Mike Green- 2 Nick Emmanwori- 2 Walter Nolen- 2 Donovan Jackson- 2 TreVeyon Henderson- 2 Derrick Harmon- 2 Donovan Ezeiruaku- 2 Josh Simmons- 1 Emeka Egbuka- 1 Shedeur Sanders- 1 Josh Conerly- 1 Jihaad Campbell- 1 Maxwell Hairston- 1 An example of the variance in this draft is Walter Nolen. Brugler and Schrager have him going 11th, Allbright 17th, and Band and DJ falling out of the first DJ, Brugler, and Schrager have Dart going tonight, while Allbright and Band don't

2025 NFL Draft
I made a consensus/composite from the average of three draft guys who I respect (DJ, Brugler, Tice, LZ). Listing out to 65, because that's two rounds, plus Kyle Williams is interesting at #65 1) Travis Hunter 2) Abdul Carter 3) Ashton Jeanty 4) Mason Graham 5) Armand Membou 6) Jalon Walker 7) Tyler Warren '8) Colston Loveland 9) Will Campbell 10) Cam Ward 11) Mike Green 12) Will Johnson 13) Tetairoa McMillan 14) Mykel Williams 15) Shemar Stewart 16) Matthew Golden 17) Jihaad Campbell 18) Derrick Harmon 19) Jahdae Barron 20) Nick Emmanwori 21) Kelvin Banks Jr 22) Emeka Egbuka 23) Josh Simmons 24) Walter Nolen 25) Donovan Ezeiruaku 26) Tyler Booker 27) Omarion Hampton 28) Malaki Starks 29) Luther Burden III 30) Josh Conerly Jr 31) Mason Taylor 32) Kenneth Grant 33) Grey Zabel 34) James Pearce Jr 35) Donovan Jackson 36) Shedeur Sanders 37) Maxwell hairston 38) TreyVeyon Henderson 39) Carson Schwesinger 40) Trey Amos 41) JT Tuimoloau 42) Tyleik Williams 43) Landon Jackson 44) Nic Scourton 45) Shavon Revel Jr 46) Jayden Higgins 47) Quinshon Judkins 48) Jaylin NOel 49) Jack Bech 50) Azareye'h Thomas 51) Aireontae Ersery 52) Elijah Arroyo 53) Jack Sawyer 54) Kaleb Johnson 55) Xavier Watts 56) Dylan Sampson 57) Jordan Burch 58) Jaxson Dart 59) Benjamin Morrison 60) Marcus Mbow 61) Darius Alexander 62) Ozzy Trapilo 63) Jalen Royals 64) Jonah Savaiinaea 65) Kyle Williams

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
There's a chance that Stewart just mediocre at football, but I'm happy to use him as a negative recruiting example

Tell me about ou
He pissed off a lot of NFL people by talking shit about the other draft bowl game (The Shrine Bowl) on twitter. Seems a little thin skinned

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here, but I've heard several major draft analysts talk about how A&M bulked Scourton up to the point that he looked fat and made him much less effective. He's since shed the weight for the draft process and reportedly now looks much better running around Texas and other schools should use this as negative recruiting for edge prospects

2025 NFL Draft
DJ mentions that every year there's one player that he's way off on compared to most of who the talks to in the league, and because of that he has to reevaluate his opinion a bit on that player, and this year it's Banks. Says there's a lot of teams who have him as OL1, and he could go as high as #6 This is a bit of vindication of everyone on Texas boards asking "how the fuck does Banks keep dropping down on these boards?" I think a major part of it is people just watching the two Georgia games rather than the entire three year body of work Starting at the 21:26 mark https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/buckys-top-five-draft-prospects-by-position/id915544088?i=1000703776575

NBA 2024-25 Season Thread
There are four teams in the west that I think potentially could fall off the deeper they go into the playoffs because of age, injury issues, depth, or being scared of the moment (Harden). The NBA playoffs can be a war of attrition, especially starting in the 2nd round where there's only one day between games The obvious one is the Clippers, given that Kawhi could randomly get injured at any moment, and the deeper they get into the playoffs, the more likely Harden will turn into a corncobb Next is Golden State, given that their three best players are old and have a ton of playoff mileage on their bodies Then there's the Nuggets, primarily due to Jamal Murray. We saw last year how their offense can struggle to keep up deep in the playoffs when he's not 100% right. And more than any other "contender", they can't afford to lose any of their top five guys or the whole thing starts to fall apart The 4th is the Lakers with 40 year old Lebron. We've seen how he's benefited physically with Luka and to a lesser extent Reaves carrying the load on offense for the first 80% of the game, but I really struggle to see him staying fresh deep into the playoffs, and their defense really falls when he's not fully energetic on that end

Whenever Allbright states that he thinks a player is going in a certain range, go ahead and use that as a rule if you're doing mock drafts This is regarding TreVeyon Henderson https://x.com/AllbrightNFL/status/1910380801675714631
