    Longlegs

It was a pretty good silence of the lambs spiritual sequel that turns into a blumhouse movie over the last 25 minutes. Very good movie, but not an all timer or anything for me. I think that it tries to be both movies hurts it a bit Listened to the beginning on the Big Picture episode on the drive home from the movie, and I didn't realize Oz Perkins was Anthony Perkins' son. Looking at his movies, The Blackcoat's Daughter is a movie I usually recommend both for "alternative horrors" and "lesser known movies that I like". I thought I Am the Pretty Little Thing that Lives Under the Stairs sucked, and Gretal and Hansel looked good but wasn't good As a side note, I try to avoid trailers at theaters (usually wait 15 or 20 minutes after the start time to walk in) but this time I sat down when they started, and every fucking trailer showed scenes from the 2nd and 3rd acts of the movies. I get that they're trying to hook people to the theaters for a struggling industry, but I hate it
  3. If this was being directed by the OKC ownership/brain trust from two years ago who had all the patience in the world it would make sense, but Tildo and Ime want to be as competitive as possible right now, and while you can say what you want about Brooks, playing him makes this team more competitive than not It'll probably make more sense after the season when you're one year deeper into the contract and as it takes up less % of the cap, and the young guys are more ready to be winning players
  4. The issue with Green is most of his best stretches in his career have happened over the last month or so of the seasons when a lot of teams are either tanking or not trying I don't see the rush in trading anyone unless you're getting surplus value. Keep kicking the can down the road to get as much data as possible on which of these guys have the best chance on panning out as winning players. If a consolidation opportunity for a star who's not over the hill materializes, then pounce, but don't force it and over pay for a guy who won't actually make you that much closer to being a contender
  5. What's the hurry to get off Brooks, and why are we talking about his contract like it's a Jordan Poole type of negative contract?
  6. Guys, at least consult the trade machine with these ideas
  7. Keep green until you get a proper return for him

    Bronny James

I think some of the stuff they pull is annoying, but I think he’s an amazing agent

    Bronny James

This isn’t true. Klutch only allowed two teams to work him out, a bunch of teams requested it
  10. I know the rockets have at least one room at one park place that Harden used to use all the time I’ve seen Sengun there with his girl, not sure if he was using the rockets apartment or has his own McHale used to live there

    Bronny James

If he pans out, he’s a Pat Bev type. Needs to be able to knock down corner threes and be able to dribble vs pressure though
  12. Eason is a long term starter, imo

    Bronny James

He needs to spend all of his time outside of practice shooting corner threes. Defensively he's not far away from being playable, but he needs to be able to hide in the corner and make threes to play for a real team
  14. The in-season tournament emirites nba cup has its pool drawing tonight at 6pm leading into the Rockets vs Lakers Cam Whitmore, Reed Sheppard, and AJ Griffin will be playing for Houston. Interested in seeing Reed play point. If Whitmore lights it up, he probably gets shut down. Curious to see Bronny guard Reed or Whitmore. Knecht should also be playing
  15. Episode one was truly excellent TV The rest of the season was a "set-up episode" but for an entire season season. Mostly good, happy I watched it, but it's unsatisfying with so many threads not approaching closure in a way you don't typically see in a season of TV. Hopefully the next season comes around soon
  16. Then they’ll just eventually take him to restricted free agency and tell him to go find that offer
  17. So what? He's physically the best matchup the US can throw at Jokic. Davis, Bam, Chet, Draymond, etc are all too short or too light in the ass or both
  18. No, he apparently left the wife he knocked up at 15 for Milla "Besson's second wife was actress and director Maïwenn Le Besco, whom he started dating when he was 32 and she was 15.[25] They married in late 1992 when Le Besco, 16, was pregnant with their daughter Shanna, who was born on 3 January 1993.[26] Le Besco later claimed that their relationship inspired Besson's film Léon (1994), where the plot involved the emotional relationship between an adult man and a 12-year-old girl.[25] Their marriage ended in 1997, when Besson became involved with actress Milla Jovovich during the filming of The Fifth Element (1997)."
  19. Jokic doesn't put Embiid into the basket like he does with Davis and Bam
  20. Looks like Whitmore is playing summer league
  21. Now that Ben Simmons' contract is an expiring, LaVine might have the worst contract in the league. It's his, Poole's, or Beal's.
  22. The director knocked up his 15 year old girlfriend around that time (she gave birth when she was 16), and there were some cut scenes that were even more sexually suggestive than what's already in that movie It's still a great movie, although it makes me feel dirty watching it
  23. That's great that you think that, but Houston isn't trading for LaVine. Take it up with them
  24. Kawhi can be a top five player in the world when healthy. He's in his own bucket White is a better connector, a better off the ball catch-and-shooter, and better at defending quick guards. Brown is a better one-on-one scorer and better wing defender. Looking at the roster, they already have all the one-on-one scoring they need and they have plenty of wing defenders.
