  1. Baylor paying Aranda's buyout this year seems just as unlikely as A&M paying Jimbo's

    2024 NFL DRAFT

Update from the best in the business, imo
  3. By all accounts it's a weak draft at the top, but Houston could potentially get two top four picks
  4. Carolina might be missing their best player
  5. We get it, Avengers has a lot of big names trying to acting in front of green screens before the radioactive green ball of glook explodes and erases the time machine before the murder orb sucks in the bear-man and wait until after the end credits!
  6. It's not a single movie, but the Harry Potter series had a ridiculous cast A really great cast in a single movie?
  7. They're useful for gambling, but if you're just looking at matchups, ESPN's is an adjusted EPA metric based only on this season's data https://www.espn.com/college-football/fpi/_/view/efficiencies/sort/efficiencies.defefficiencyrank/dir/asc
  8. Assuming it's similar to SP+, previous season's data never gets completely filtered out ESPN's defensive efficiency metric is adjusted, fwiw, although I'm not sure it capture show bad some of the QBs they've faced are
  9. The difference is FEI takes data from previous seasons and likely uses recruiting/transfer data similar to FPI/SP+, while the others are base solely on what's happened on the field this year
  10. This is similar to how scoring/offensive EPA is down in the NFL as more defenses play the "Fangio Defense" (which is similar to what Texas does)
  11. They're #28 in ESPN's defensive efficiency metric. Teams rack up counting stats against them though because their offense sucks and the defense is always on the field; BYU has one of the worst time of possessions in the country. That metric is supposed to account for competition, but it's possible if not likely that it's not completely adjusting for how bad the offenses they've played are. I wouldn't necessarily call it a good defense, but it's definitely not "shitty"
  12. Fwiw, they appear to be rotating the two QBs from drive to drive
  13. This IDF press screening is a brilliant idea
  14. Possession- what the fuck did I just watch? That was really well well made batshit crazy movie
  15. It's my favorite movie I don't think it's necessarily for everyone, but I love it
  16. Back to back weeks where refs help out a Cleveland team without Deshaun and tank our draft pick
  17. Most offenses aren’t really comparable to Tennessee’s (or other Briles’ tree) offense though For other schemes, I think A&M is difficult to run on, if they’re relatively healthy
  18. I don't think Nolan and Regis would make a huge difference, the remaining DL would still wreck USCjr's OL, but yeah Cooper and Anderson would be considerable blows, especially since those positions get heavily targeted by USCjr's passing game. Cooper and Anderson being out would make a pretty strong defensive unit a pretty average SEC unit
  19. Offenses that have above average passing attacks should shred them. Offenses that are running based should struggle.Bama and Tennessee have WRs schemed open down the field, but both QBs struggle with consistency Ole Miss and LSU should be able to pass on them South Carolina's OL is so bad that their passing attack is generally Rattler running backwards to avoid instant pressure and then throwing short passes and hoping they turn into longer YACs. Not sure if that'll work against A&M MSU probably will struggle to score
