If they couldn't extend/re-sign Dak, it probably would have made sense to pivot this current offseason and trade him for premium draft picks and eat the cap hit before Lamb/Parsons get paid
They will most likely get a 3rd round comp for him though if they let him leave, along with this season's worth of production
It looked like the "owner" tried to kick Vince and his buddy(ies?) out for whatever reason, Vince's buddy smashes the drink in his face and then lands an elbow, a mosh pit ensues, and Vince eventually gets clocked
I'm most curious to know why they were seemingly getting kicked out. I've never been to that bar, but I've been to most of the ones around it
Along with the teams in this draft (probably Arizona trying to drive up value) trying to create draft value, the NFL pushes the team with the #2 pick to play a part in creating drama for the draft by not showing their hand. They did this with Houston.
Jayden doesn't throw over the middle or hang in the pocket on third downs, two things that are required to be good in the NFL
McCarthy seems like drafting Brock Purdy in the top five

Jayden Daniels and JJ McCarthy are my answers for most overrated
After those guys I think the highly rated guys deserve it
Dallas Turner is a popular overrated pick here. I think he'd be overrated in the top five where he'd go in some past drafts there were weaker at the top, but if he's falling into the teens, I think he's a good value. I think he most likely goes around pick eight, which is about right
If you're trying to game out who Houston could pick at #42, Here are the 36 players mocked to go in the first (or top 33) in either Dane or DJ's last mocks
Caleb Williaims
Drake Maye
Jayden Daniels
JJ McCarthy
Marvin Harrison Jr
Malik Nabers
Joe Alt
Dallas Turner
Rome Odunze
Taliese Fuaga
Jared Verse
Brock Bowers
Michael Penix Jr
Olu Fashanu
Quinyon Mitchell
Troy Fautanu
Terrion Arnold
JC Latham
Laiatu Latu
Tyler Guyton
Graham Barton
Nate Wigins
Brian Thomas Jr
Jackson Powers-Johnson
Amarius Mims
Darius Robinson
Byron Murphy II
Jer'Zhan Newton
Kool-Aid McKinstry
Cooper DeJean
Chop Robinson
Adonai Mitchell
Ladd McConkey
Jordan Morgan
Xavier Worthy
Kingsley Suamataia
The names not listed who seem to have a good shot at going before pick #42 are Bo Nix, Keon Coleman, and Troy Franklin
If Houston isn't looking to draft an OL at #42, a run on them (Patrick Paul, Zach Frazier, Christian Haynes, Cooper Beebe) would help push other targets down to Houston
Some interesting names not included who could be there at #42
- Xavier Legette
- Edgerrin Cooper
- Ennis Rakestraw
- Ja'Lynn Polk
- Malachi Corley
- Roman Wilson
- T'Vondre Sweat
The guaranteed money will never be a thing at scale in the league until the guaranteed money in escrow rule is changed through collective bargaining. The rule is a silly one, but it hasn't been conceded yet
Signing Cousins allows you to use pick eight on a non-QB
Drafting a QB at eight allows you to spend more money in free agency
There's not one way to eat a Reese's, I'm just pointing out that this isn't ground breaking strategy, and that there are also plenty of examples of failures where teams wonder the wilderness looking for a replacement level QB to fill out their roster. See Denver post-Manning.
