  1. Seems as though the only throws that qualify as indication of poor accuracy are balls thrown behind receivers on crossing routes or balls thrown too far inside on curls. A ball bombed out of bounds on a fly route or thrown too deep on a post don't seem to fall under the same designation.
  2. You're right, I really can't argue accuracy when the literal football metric for accuracy doesn't even factor into the argument.
  3. No doubt Cupp has had an amazing year, but his career has been injury plagued up until this point. Still though, he had like 1100 yards in only 14 games a couple years ago so he's been on the brink of breaking out for awhile. And as far as Stafford goes, he's always been an elite talent and there's no denying that. He was the #1 pick for a reason. And Dak's arm made him a conditional 4th round pick, again for a reason. That being said I realize that over his 6 year career all of Dak's stats were accumulated in garbage time while Stafford's were amassed in a career full of nothing but clutch play, but Stafford's accuracy has netted him a career mark of (63%) on 7.3 yards/attempt which is 3+ percentage points below that of Dak's career mark (66.6%) on 7.6 yards/attempt. Now I realize that one can still reasonably come to conclusion that Stafford is better than Dak, but given that their career marks are well within range of each other (although Dak comes in ahead of him in many if not most of the categories) it's a bit ridiculous to claim that anyone who disagrees with this assertion has their head in the sand or that Stafford's being better "isn't even debatable".
  4. Stafford literally threw a punt for what shouldv'e have been fair caught for a sure INT last night. Calm down.
  5. Tap the breaks on the Bengals and Mike Brown suddenly becoming a good owner. They infamously didn't even have a scouting department when Marvin Lewis 1st got there. Any success that organization has is in spite of their owner not because they suddenly became a good and well run organization.
  6. Did On3 create a totally new recruiting entity or did they gobble up something else? I prefer to go with 247 composite rankings since it incorporates all the sites. Still though, they have Mitchell at #14, Morris at #19, & Brumbaugh at #79. I pray Morris & Mitchell make it to campus.
  7. Did he play last year and just get a COVID redshirt designation?
  8. I didn't realize Lewis is a freshman. Dude looks like a 28 year old pro.
  9. I pray that Miami hires Moore. Not because I think Moore sucks and he can't be a competent OC. I'm just tired of seeing the same stale scheme for the past 15 years. Let's change things up. Maybe a new scheme will unlock something in Dak.
  10. Yeah dude, where have you been? All of Greggo's out of nowhere fuckups, that ultimately became drop gold are mostly due to him being high on air.
  11. Someone said it best on twitter. Kellen Moore is a great play designer, but he hasn't developed the ability to actually setup defenses and take advantage of their responses to his tendencies, in other words he doesn't coordinate his calls very well. Maybe it will come with time, but he clearly hasn't demonstrated this ability with any level of consistency.
  12. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  13. And Jerry Jones would never attract a young innovative coach like that, nor is he capable of being incisive enough to pick one out prior to it becoming obvious.
  14. Maybe I missed it, but when did this happen?
  15. I agree and I didn't feel that way to start the season. In fact I thought Allen's role would diminish significantly by now. I'm not afraid to admit I greatly underestimated his skillset going into the season. He really acquitted himself quite nicely initiating the offense most of the night. Allen in the point forward role accomplishes 2 things; takes Carr of the ball and gets the offense started more quickly.
  16. Yeah the problem isn't having Cunningham play it's having Cunningham and Askew together on the court together for an extended period of time.
  17. It's a step up in physical talent. Tech, Baylor, and KU are all much more athletic than Iowa St, Kansas St, & TCU. And KU and Tech in particular are bigger and more athletic on the perimeter which will probably cause match-up problems for our guards.
  18. It's all about matchups. I'd feel much better about beating Kansas if we were better downlow and had guards who could consistently drive by their man.
  19. You don't even have to raise it to the level of bluebloods. Fucking South Carolina got away with the exact same infraction committed by the exact same offender.
  20. Especially given how it started. They reached a #1 ranking within his first couple years there. Unless you're a really elite coach college basketball is a volatile endeavor.
  21. Same here. Morris & Wallace were my dream backcourt the moment Beard was hired. Wallace epitomizes everything you can imagine out of a Beard style guard. His toughness and tenacity exude from his pores. I really thought we were certain to get him given how we seemingly backed off of George to go after him. Regardless I'm just glad Beard got us back into the DFW area. There's no coincidence that every single one of Texas Mickie Ds this year are from the metroplex. For whatever reason that region of the state is dripping with basketball talent whereas the Houston area has them beat in football talent.
  22. Cason Wallace Arterio Morris Jordan Walsh Anthony Black Keyonte George Not sure that we've ever had this many Texas high school bball players in the same class make the McDonald's All-American team. I wonder if both Jordan Walsh and Keyonte George deciding to play their final year out of state helped the state get this ridiculous number.
  23. Kenpom has them at 7-11 in the 2018-2019 season.
  24. Pretty sure OU went 7-11 the year after Trae Young and they made it in.
