  1. Brock's form seems to have improved and he didn't hesitate at all on that 3.
  2. Carr's not a good enough shooter and lack of spacing in our offense does him no favors for his dribble drive game. He's sort of a poor fit for what Beard wants to do. If Ramey had Carr's handle and savvy he'd be perfect for Beard.
  3. I agree on Ramey, not so much on Askew but I understand why people prefer his mistake free play. Ramey gets way too much flack from our fanbase. Dude is athletically limited, but he plays with a determination unmatched by any other guard on the roster.
  4. Oh you mean college level players didn't score every time they went down the court. Holy shit we stuck.
  5. Ramey is on the sideline checking in and gets fired up after Askew's 3 to tell the bench to get the fuck up and get hype. This dude gets way too much flack for the amount of heart he consistently displays.
  6. Ewers was sort of a big deal so I’m not sure why players recruiting him is a big indication of anything. He’s literally the highest rated QB prospect of the last 20 years. He also happened to grow up in the same state of which they attend the flagship school. Not to mention most of the guys recruiting him spent the previous 4 years attending camps with him. Casey could’ve won the fucking heisman and they’d still be actively recruiting Ewers and nobody would've thought twice about it.
  7. And that's an understatement. Every former player I've seen from Domonique Foxworth, to Ryan Clark, to anyone you can name has been done with him. And as far as people defending him. I wouldn't describe what people are doing as anyone taking his side. Some people are more or less quibbling with the initial story put out by Arians/Bucs which probably wasn't the complete truth. Regardless of this small contention over specifics, the overwhelming majority of people are done with AB nonetheless.
  8. He lost $30M guaranteed from the Raiders, another $12M guaranteed from the Patriots, and potentially another $1M with the Bucs. He's kinda sucks at "getting away with" bullshit.
  9. Arians was the OC in Pittsburgh for awhile, but I'm not sure if he crossed paths with AB during his tenure there.
  10. He previously tested positive September 25th so it was over 90 days when he tested positive again.
  11. I believe Cooper gets a 90 day reprieve from testing due to having Covid. I forget whether or not Lamb already had before.
  12. His kid may mess around and get a tennis scholarship. It would be funny if UT was his best offer.
  13. Sarunas Marciulionis is actually credit for it even though there is footage of Dr. J, Elgin Baylor, and other guys doing it as far back as the 60s.
  14. Who did he get the 4th win against. I count only Indy, Tampa, & Arizona. Baltimore doesn't count because the record above is for +.500 teams.
  15. Febres had microfracture surgery and only came back the last 3rd of the season.
  16. Why are people posting in this thread instead of creating a game thread?
  17. Dak was 3rd in QBR in 2016, 4th in 2017, and 4th in 2019.
  18. I like the purposefulness of the offense to start out.
  19. Has recruiting ever been this concentrated amongst just a few schools? I don't follow it as closely as I did in the 00s, but I don't remember a time when 3 or 4 schools routinely locked up such a high % of the top 100. Bama, Georgia, & Ohio St dominate recruiting like no other period of time before. They get 3 or 4 five star players seemingly every year. Then throw in another 15 years of SEC propaganda and lesser teams like Kentucky tend to recruit way above their historical weight which hurts schools like Michigan and Michigan St that recruit Ohio kids who dont go to Ohio St.
  20. I remember Anthony Johnson but had no clue we ever had a Charlie Williams as a WR coach. I would've lost money on that trivia question.
  21. So 2 of the 5 teams were within the top 40% of D1 basketball in terms of pace and another was essentially smack dab in the middle (358 teams in D1). All things being equal most fans prefer an aesthetically pleasing style of play, but we prefer winning over any and everything else. Beard is my archetype of a college coach in terms of his personality, urgency, organization, and even marketing acumen so I'm not going to be too critical of his preferred offensive style of play. I mean it would probably be too much to ask for him to hit 10 out of 10 on my dream coach checklist so I'll settle for 9.
  22. Weird that it's showing up blocked when I can see it free and clear. Here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQxp-A5uvkA
  23. I've watched that highlight a million times and have seen a screen shot of the moment before Romo flings the pass. Beasley is wide ass open over the middle for a first down on that play. But in all honesty I loved Romo for attempting plays like that and it's what made him a favorite of mine. He was just snake bitten. I imagine Cowboys fans a bit older than me feel the same way about Danny White. Here's the play here: Beasely is lined in the slot on the right side and you see he's wide open.
  24. Forget about the Dez' catch the real turning point in that game was DeMarco's fumble. Not only was it a momentum changer, but Murray was going to go 59 yards on that run and put us up 21-10 in the 3rd which would've given us a 2-score buffer for the exchange of TDs between the 2 teams over the next few drives. Could've sworn the Rodgers on one leg game was during the 2016 season playoff game with Dak at the helm?!?!?
