Literally the only thing keeping me from calling for someone to have movers knock on Sarks door (the kind that won't take no for an answer) at 3am, pack his shit up and dump it exactly 200 miles outside the Austin city limits is this.. He did find a way to get the Longhorns in the playoffs two years in a row, one of those when only 4 could get in. We have current scoreboard on our biggest rivals (that could change in two weeks) I really can't think of a realistic coaching candidate I like this year, especially with LSU and Florida also on the hunt. Not to mention he isn't really on the hot seat with BMD's so any talk of this isn't going anywhere this season. That said, if he doesn't bolt to the NFL then some assistant changes need to be made. I love what Akina did here decades ago, but he's at least 5 years past when he should have retired. He isn't the only one, I think it's time for Flood to move along as well...he benefited from being at Bama while Saban still had the machine rolling. Even when Flood had an all NFL caliber line we didn't hold up well against teams with equal talent on D. A loss (or narrow win by a cunt hair) against piggy is all but expected at this point and par for the course this season. Arch is finally playing pretty well but we don't seem to have the horses (or depth) at key positions for any sort of playoff run, and that's on Sark.
