  1. *corches And yes, yes we did.
  2. And somehow exotic compared to scrambled eggs.
  3. To be fair, with each new generation of college students it gets more difficult to fake that shit to get in a bar. Thanks Bin Laden.
  4. Jimbo has multiple derogative names, why not the Elk?
  5. I meant the heat, not actual S&C, but yeah.
  6. I hope so, but Sark may let Quinn pad stats for a run at the Heisman. It would be cool to get a third Heisman, but that award seemed much cooler 20 years ago.
  7. And no conditioning advantage playing a team from SA. Not that we're likely to need an edge, but the heat won't be a shock to any of the players.
  8. TSRH, my parents are resistant to streaming so I got them hooked up with Hulu+ that simulates the old cable experience with live channels and such. Even so it took them a long time to realize part of it is live cable, part on demand tv and movies, but the entire thing is streamed through their cable company wifi.
  9. At this point I think everyone should just get fed up with all the bullshit and go the peg leg/parrot on shoulder route. I legitimately had LHN for only about 5 1/2 years of its more than a decade long run, and it wasn't because I wasn't willing to pay for it. Same for this DirecTV vs the Mouse nonsense, consumers are the only losers of that slap fight.
  10. Only 2 games in, I think it's fair to leave it as is for now.
  11. Same, I quit last season
  12. My criteria was a minimum 3 hour drive. Close enough to go home when I wanted to, just far enough away the fam wouldn't show up unannounced on a whim.
  13. Hell yeah! Welcome Zelus! This is a recruitment where in the past we might be a hat on the table, but ultimately lose to Georgia, Bama, LSU or even aggy. The SEC move combined with NIL, transfer portal (which so far has helped far more than hurt) and a university President who understands the football programs importance to the entire school...has truly woken the sleeping giant, and he's hungry after a long sleep.[emoji869]
  14. What does old Jeffrey have for athletes this year? I always assume he does a decent job recruiting.
  15. First time I've seen it for sure. I usually hear about how he's the calm and reserved coach on defense.
  16. Plan or vision? Don't need no stinkin plan or badges vato! At first I thought Colin Klein was an odd fit for aggy, but that's simply because of Wiggy...but he won't last long behind his 5 matadors.
  17. This is gonna seem weird since I'm not an 80 yo woman, but I've always had a thing for Tiffany style lamps. My grandma had a huge one with a heavy bronze "tree trunk" base and I always thought the multicolor glass panels were awesome[emoji23]
  18. I want mudhole early and often so we can get a little Arch Madness along with some of the Freshmen some serious playtime. Yes, I know this won't be popular among those who think stat padding will be the difference in Quinn winning or losing the Heisman. I seriously have a waning interest in that award being too meaningful these days, and would hope the voters take into account number of snaps taken when looking at numbers.
  19. Way too early in the season with only two games under our belt and a RB room that is only going to shrink as the season wears on, but I'm getting tingly feelings about this team I haven't had in like ..16 years or so? Actually better than 16 years ago, but I can't quite go back 20 years to 04-05, but not too far away from that either. A long season still ahead, and longest ever unless shit goes really sideways, but I'm liking what I've seen so far. I knew the offense *should* be a WMD this season based on returning players+quality transfers, but so far they've wildly exceeded expectations. Our defense is also seems improved in spite of losing our interior beef and a veteran LB, who knew passes could actually be defended instead of simply tackling the receiver after they catch the ball? Run defense is still a work in progress. As in either feast or famine..stop the runner for little or no gain, or let them rip off a 10+ yarder. I think if we figure that part out and our young DB's mixed with older experienced players start to mesh we'll be fine in stopping most teams from outscoring us, if not dominant on D. I dunno man, anyone else getting the feeling this team is different than any we've had in recent years? And yes, that includes last year's lineup that ultimately had 11 NFL players.
  20. I'll be a temporary gata fan Saturday, chomp chomp muthafuckas!
  21. Dude is going to beast mode the next two years. Hell, he could make it impossible to leave him off the field this season...but it's going to be hard with the eDgE's we have already.
  22. In this game I'm looking forward to a little Arch Madness and Wingo wilding out on their Defense. Hopefully Quinn can pile up enough points in the first half to get everyone some playtime, even Freshmen planning to shirt. Having said that, I don't think the roadrunners have any intention of rolling over for us, and they likely have more true athletes than CSU. Some people hate these types of games, but I think it's cool to allow the future to give us glimpses of things to come.
  23. I love how many of them are convinced they can simply buy a championship team. Hope they keep that mindset and get all the recruits only in it for money and overpay the JAG's. As far as they're concerned the ONLY reason we do well in recruiting and portal is money. Has nothing to do with team culture, offensive/defensive schemes, development for the NFL and playing for a highly recognizable blue blood. Right aggy lurkers? Get out there and sell some some damn policies so you can support your beloved ags!
  24. So we won't need cats, Kate, CFS or McRibs to pull in a top 5 (maybe numero uno) class? I don't know what to do with my hands.
  25. I thought this was likely a wasted scholly, but I can also admit when I'm wrong. He may not go down in history as one of the best to tote the rock in burnt orange, but the dude is smart and plays hard every down. Choice seems good at his job.
