  1. The worst is when they do it in Europe. And no, they aren't random young Europeans who like the colors and logo. I do see a lot of young Europeans wearing Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Columbia etc...and then when it comes to non-ivies you get ND and I've even seen a few Longhorn hoodies and tshirts on what I don't think were American tourists.
  2. I'm not plugged into the coaching staff or anything, but it seems to me pushing for Lacey was originally meant to be a two for one thing...get a pretty good QB along with one of the best WR prospects in the nation, and possibly start a little momentum in grabbing a few Alabama prospects in the future. As it is now, not sure getting Lacey by himself is enough..and certainly hasn't done us any favors with Ryan Williams.
  3. Curious about what they're going to consider "premium seating", but more pissers will be welcome for sure.
  4. The delusional corn fanbase won't tolerate too many recruiting classes filled with diamonds in the rough.
  5. Needs more maroon on the cars
  6. Yeah, if we can find someone who can snap the damn ball then Arch should have decent protection in front of him for '25. Our '24 O-line has to be top 5 nationally, and certainly the best we've had in a really long time.
  7. Even if he never plays a snap, the glorious gooner tears was worth a wasted scholly. To be honest I think he will eventually be a decent pass rusher off the bench in case a starter gets injured or needs a breather, but I suspect he's been recruited over...Collin Simmons for one.
  8. To be fair, the bottom car will last a lot longer while also being far less money upfront. Maserati is nothing more than a Fiat borrowing some Ferrari bits...and slapped together with all the same care and attention to detail as your average Burger King chef. (I had a friend who bought one brand new a few years back so got some good second hand experience) Johnny 8 ball with no aggy flair?
  9. Not saying they weren't, just saying coming into last seasons we had questions about both being up to the task. Of course that was answered very early on in a positive way, hope the same happens this coming season. I will give you that both Sweat and Murphy at least flashed at times in the '22 season. Outside of maybe Collins, not sure you can really say the same about our current crop of DT's. Lots of questions to be answered for sure.
  10. They may be right, but I remember similar concerns about T'vondre Sweat and to a lesser degree, Byron Murphy as well.
  11. There is no satire when it comes to aggy, only cold hard reality.
  12. I could be wrong, but to me it seems like this Longhorn team has a lot in common with MB's early 2k's squads when it comes to talent, maybe even better on paper. I'm beyond excited to see us play the defending champs early on, and see what this team can do with an SEC schedule, but still need to see them play an actual game since we lost a lot on both sides of the ball. If these guys can hang with Georgia or even beat them...sky is the limit for this team, maybe stratosphere.
  13. Bobby and Gerry slinging lots of spiked kool-aid our way this year.
  14. They're busy "building champions". Not necessarily champions wearing maroon and white, but champions nonetheless.
  15. So LSU's PR dept (or whoever did that thing) screwed themselves. That calls into question all the numbers imo. Guess it really doesn't matter unless recruits start fact checking, which I don't imagine to be a huge issue.
  16. We're losing so much production on both sides of the ball I'm cautiously optimistic. On paper we have just as much or more talent than last season...but much of it unproven.
  17. Odd that Hassan Ridgeway earned more than Malcom Brown. Guess that shows 4th round vs 1st isn't that different depending on how things go.
  18. This is the geography thread, get that football stuff out of here. Seriously though, watched the video of X and AD catching...both look great, but X looked a bit smoother and more comfortable out there. If I were an NFL GM and needed another receiver badly I would have zero qualms spending a first round pick on either one of these dudes.
  19. https://gigemgazette.com/posts/texas-a-m-hiring-trev-alberts-shows-they-are-still-one-step-ahead-of-texas-ou-01hsc6ksf8yt This article is so full of aggy rhetoric and bluster all the current AI programs will be spot on accurate in a few years when you request "write me an article about Texas A&M football in the style of an A&M booster" Hell, it probably won't take a few years, there is already plenty out there on the webs.
  20. And aggy will receive another round of lack of fucks to give about what they think. Those bitches get to dodge Bama and Georgia..
  21. Sunbelt Billy will be back where he belongs, Gata will have a new staff to break in. That is unless he pulls off a miracle and exceeds all expectations in '24...hopefully not at our expense.
  22. Thats so on brand for Harbaugh. Most HC's just hire someone to haul off whatever doesn't make the move..or donate it. Not good old Jimmy boy, he's going to earn him some dinner money.
  23. I love how she blows up her own argument at the end. Typical brainwashed aggy bimbo.
  24. What job out there is more attractive than The University of Texas, or even equal at the moment? Sark isn't going anywhere else unless asked to do so by the University of Texas. Edit- non-NFL coaching job that is.
  25. I don't know about the rest of you, but after looking at the pics, watching a few vids and reading some 9.95'er articles I'm having trouble locating a single loss on our schedule. Can someone help me out here?
