  1. But along that same line of thinking, if you do accept the job there and manage to stumblefuck your way into a championship.. the gomers would finally tear down the sully statue, melt it down and reshape it in your image. I know none of us would want that sort of honor...but the first coach to do it will be aggy legend, complete with fairy tales that get better with each decade that passes.
  2. Awesome sales pitch: Welcome to aggy! We'll have a warm roster spot for you unless someone better hops in the motherfucker. Whoop!
  3. Wonder if the Elk is wondering if he can toss some of the bread back in the portal now that several Bama players likely hop in the motherfucker very soon.. I love that aggy was crowing about the number of players they were able to snag out of the portal[emoji122][emoji122]
  4. Good thing the Elk snatched all the FCS players he could find as soon as the portal opened. aggy gon be loaded for '24[emoji23][emoji23]
  5. First pic is the only one needed from now on. Ty in advance
  6. I think the PC term for it is "gummie English" or "Edible English". Some of those things are far stronger than they need to be.
  7. Yeah, Sark got to do that with his kid this season. Not sure he ever saw the field on Gameday, but he was wearing the uniform on the same field as his dad at least.
  8. The tree only works if the coach in question climbs the ladder. Sure he's getting a bit more money at LSU, but it's a lateral move and money we could have matched. The son having one last shot at becoming a pro player was the deciding factor.
  9. Ahh, gotcha. I knew there was something about Iran. Beautiful country and people, government beyond fucked up.
  10. Seems like he and Milwee have good evals at least. Makes me feel better about Lacey...don't think they did that just to have a chance at his 5* favorite target either. Oh, btw...Williams just decommited from Bama, any word on how hard we're trying to get back in?
  11. Dicko wasn't a great tackler, but he damn sure tried to mix it up when he got the chance.
  12. We were one of two teams to beat him during his last rodeo, and one of a very small handful to do it in Tuscaloosa[emoji869]
  13. He was already getting a raise, this just adds more gravy for Jimmy Sexton.
  14. No, he could smell what the Elk has cooking down in Collie Station. Resistance is futile.
  15. You make a good point. Zero animosity from the local fanbase and the coach of the most prominent university a personal friend. They could do worse than central Texas for retirement...but they could also choose something a bit more tropical and exotic if they want.
  16. You do realize Pete is older than Saban, right? Both of them are done in the same year. I could see Pete going to TV, not sure about Saban.
  17. Or to a newly bought personal yacht. Of course that's what I'd do, but I'm not the greatest CFB coach of all time.
  18. I was about to say Sexton is the real winner in this retirement announcement. Most of his clients will simply get a hefty raise without leaving where they are now.
  19. Or take a real retirement for a couple years and then come back to a TV gig if he really wants that. He's never looked that comfy in front of cameras...I'm sure he will be fine looking after his car dealerships and traveling the world.
  20. 72 years old with not many years left to spend the millions he's made. The only way I'd be surprised is if he truly thought he has the roster to win it all one more time next season. It ain't happening with Milroe and any QB they portal in would be a gamble.
  21. Or he and miss Terry can go spend some of that money he's made with zero CFB insanity surrounding them. Tough choice
  22. Not worried, the University of Texas is a destination school and Sark knows it. The Gumps can never outbid us either. Sark also knows how insane being the first coach to follow the GOAT would be..he's experienced Gump fans first hand.
