  1. Mind blowing to me that many of them are convinced they simply have to outbid any program that wants these guys as if that's the reason they're leaving[emoji85][emoji85][emoji1787]
  2. Agreed, we're the original Stormtroopers. No other team (other than maybe Pedo State) had anything close until about 10-12 years ago. Imitation is flattery I guess, but some programs act like they invented the look.[emoji849]
  3. Getting out of the Yormark conference a year early was worth every penny.
  4. CTJ missed the perfect opportunity for a thread title edit.. "2024 Transfer thread- Sans A brain"
  5. He can't be allowed to leave for anything less than a HC job, and not sure that's what he wants if we're honest. I know most coaches think the position/coordinator/HC path is the only way to success, but I'd say doing one thing really well and being compensated accordingly is not a shameful thing at all.
  6. He's Saban, MBTF age at minimum, maybe a year or two older. He ain't going back to CFB.
  7. This staff is gonna pull in back to back filthy, nasty, unfaaayer (to poor aggy) recruiting classes. SEC ready isn't the question, is the SEC ready for Texas?
  8. Can't stop winning! [emoji869][emoji869]
  9. The Dill is lit af.. For boomers and older.
  10. Already expressed my satisfaction with this young man's excellent choice in the other thread, but.. The portal being open while games are yet to be played is about as useful as an udder on a bull if the players aren't eligible immediately. We need safety help in less than 2 weeks, not next season.
  11. I hope this doesn't mean the Fightin' Elks stumblefuck into getting Novosad now.
  12. He's not lying, they are *Standord* wannabes. At first I thought he misspelled "University of Phoenix", but a Chinese Stanford knockoff is better.
  13. More likely it's either commit or have no landing spot. I hear there arent enough schollies to go around this portal cycle.
  14. Moffitt is going to take that raw MAC putty and mold it into a rolling ball of butcher knives..full of thick forearms and striated glutes. And that's before the Elk gets ahold of them for spring practice. Pepper your angus boys, the giant just shotgunned 3 5 hour energies at once!
  15. Isn't this exactly what the denizens of Texaggy.com wanted? Lunchpail and hardhat corch, players with a chip on their shoulder (or Chippewa) ready to become Fightin' Texas aggy!
  16. I know exactly what you're talking about, but he did get much better at checkdowns the last 3 games. Hope it carries over to the Sugar Bowl.
  17. [emoji869][emoji869][emoji869][emoji869] Can he suit up for the sugar bowl? Not even joking
  18. Fuck yes, flipmas delivers once again[emoji869]
  19. Sark will cull the herd if needed, not worried about that. I'm just saying we don't need to lose quality depth to the portal just because they may not have had the reps they feel like they should have. North Texas and Fresno State are simply warning signals to players maybe thinking of portalling but shouldn't.
  20. So again, wtf point are you trying to make? I made it clear it's not about those 3 specific players but rather the example they set for someone who is quality depth and may compete for a starting job thinking they can hop in the portal and have Bama, Georgia, tOSU etc hitting them up with offers. Hell even Maalik is finding slim pickings with landing spots now and he was once considered to be one of the most coveted portal QB's.
  21. I'm fully aware, none of those 3 will be missed. I just don't want a mass exodus of starters or potential starters like some programs have had. Seeing guys having to take whatever is offered has to help in that regard.
  22. The only thing "special" about this is Arthur Smith, and not the good special. Seems ATL really isn't serious about winning football.
  23. Which is why I added the bracketed part. You know some of them expected better based on their rating out of HS and the fact they are transferring from Texas.
