Corn wouldn't be the first to allow a transfer back. BloU broke the ice on that one by allowing that washed up tight end (that I can't name) back after he followed Rattler to the SCar.
That's only if everyone believes the failure was purely Jimbo's fault. aggy has 84 years of failure among many coaches...some of whom went on to have more success at their next stop.
No way. Dad taught me from a very young age if something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't true. As if we haven't gotten enough gifts this holiday season, Jimbo going to Flarduh or becoming an SEC OC would be too much to ever repay.
I love how every aggy has some tee yew insider (well connected of course) who is willing to give them exclusive info to pass on to other aggy. Of course it's always some well orchestrated elaborate conspiracy to keep the sleeping giant down.
That's an awesome idea, (that aggy will copy if they haven't already) but it seems like the player name is a bit small? May be different seeing it in person, jmo.
Had no idea AD came from a money family. It would be awesome if he does choose one more season as a Longhorn, but if that does happen (big IF) I hope it doesn't run off a WR or two that could be a big part of future offenses.
If that trophy/plaque thing ever ends up in a pawn shop the owner has a pure chunk of solid gold. That would be the one "eureka!" item that shuts down the shop so he can retire.
You really think that deserves an "if"? Total bullshit unless those numbers came straight from Arch's accountant..and not even sure he needs such a thing yet.
Is that really necessary these days? I hear the highest paid aggy employee in history no longer lives anywhere near collie station yet the checks still keep rolling in?
I don't doubt what you say, but I think it will depend on the demographics of school systems and individual schools. Whatever fears the CTE ruckus a few years ago caused have been tempered a bit with the Supreme Court decision on NIL. Some high school football programs may fade away while others simply get larger and stronger. There is far too much money in football for it to ever completely go away, and the people making those money decisions are well aware nobody will watch teenagers and adults playing glorified flag football.
The million different uni combos and exclusive Nike shoes arent quite the rage they used to be but still attractive to many top recruits. I'm sure NIL plays a factor as well, not sure how much though.
I hate to be that "trust the corches!!!1" guy, but if Sark is serious about all this team culture he talks about and only getting players in the portal at positions of need...if he gets Stewart that means he was vetted beforehand and I'm ok with it. Sure he had a couple portal misses with Agiye Hall and Ben Davis, but those two were taken out of desperation to fill holes on a not very talented (top to bottom) Texas team, this isn't that situation.
Chin pubes, Tarp and others are getting better at sanitizing the unpaid football board and using their socks to distribute hopium and copium to the aggy masses. They are busy trying to convince themselves they never really wanted Tyanthony Smith.
Boom! Welcome to the forty Tyanthony![emoji869] And to aggy lurkers: I'll be sitting right here while you grab your shine box. Don't take too long, ok? Lolololol
