  1. It’s like a competition with these guys as to how stupidly they can spend their money. No wonder so many end up broke.
  2. The guy is a clown. Beat one good team at UH and land a premier job. You can suck him off all you want. I've had it with him and perfume smelling shit.

    Pouncey gone

Yeah. Tommy Boy loved the energy and the accountability. Those two things will win you a fuck ton of football games.
  4. I just can't take this guy any longer. I'm watching his presser from yesterday. Reporter asks, with the extra week what are you going to work on? Tom's answer -- relationships. Someone please just shoot me.
  5. Sam knows he needs to score 50. That will certainly lead to throwing some balls he knows he shouldn't. And that 1 pick was on DD. Well there's your argument right there... Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray both knew they needed to score 50 -- and they did. THAT is generational talent. Again, not a knock on Sam -- he's a very good QB, but Colt, Vince, THOSE are once-every-15-years QBs. And speaking of blowU, I've heard the knocks on Lincoln Riley and the fact that he has had this string of QBs land in his lap and we still don't know what he's capable of coaching-wise. Well, I've seen Spencer Rattler play, and he's good. REAL good. I fear another QB prodigy for them.
  6. Looking back, I don't understand the love for Herman. Yeah, we had a hard-on for him after he beat OU as the UH head coach. But looking beyond that one game, he is pretty mediocre. Look at some the games he lost at UH. Total head scratchers. The dude is an arrogant prick who is in over his head with a true blue blood program. He just looks lost after games. I'm so sick and tired of his pressers after a loss. You know is first sentence will be "Not the outcome we expected or prepared for" I'm sorry, I've heard that sentence far too many times. This University deserves better.
  7. Serious?? I love Sam. He is tough as nails and has the heart of a lion. But generational talent?? No way in hell.
  8. "That's a locker room full of guys that love each other."
  9. Pooka Williams. Solid back. Ran for 130 sumthin' against OU this year. But I'd be surprised if we didn't cover the 23 points.
  10. I think calling TH a 2nd place coach is being generous. Rhule and Campbell would both do better with this roster, IMO.
  11. One coach in this series had the balls to fire his DC mid-season. That team has made a night and day improvement in less than a year.
  12. I'm tired of being proud of our losses. Who gives a shit how difficult your schedule is if you lose to all the good teams on that schedule.
  13. Winner of Whisky / tOSU is the best team in the country IMO. If LSU/Bama winner wins the SEC Championship, both those teams are in CFP if they only have that one loss (unfortunately.) A two-loss Big 12 CCG winner is left out, again just my opinion.
  14. I didn't go through this whole thread, so sorry if already discussed, but... I think i was MOST disappointed in the lack of effort. So many missed tackles due to a lack of aggressiveness. Look at Lamb's runs after the catch - just ridiculous how many guys he ran through On the flea flicker play, it was like guys were just standing around waiting for someone else to initiate contact. Dare I say it, this D staring to look like what Mike Stoops left OU with tow years ago.
  15. He just sounds butt hurt. Eff these coaches. They can't stand to see the players getting the same treatment they get. How many times has a coach lied to a recruits face, telling said recruit he's going to be his coach in the future, all the while negotiating with another school only to bolt before the ink is dry on the LOI?? Screw Patterson. How does it feel to have the shoe on the other foot? Get used to it fat boy. And about hurting non-P5 schools... how so? Most of these kids that are transferring are doing so because they want to start right away. What better place to do that than a non-P5 school?? Transfer to another elite P5 program and more likely than not, you're still competing with 4 and 5 star incoming recruits. Hell, this rule might HELP some non-P5 schools -- let's see is all I'm saying. I'm all for the players being able to make their own situation better. They allow these coaches and and programs to earn millions and millions of dollars. Yeah, I get it -- they get a scholly, big whoop. How's that degree in Exercise or Library Science working out? Let them do what they think they need to do to get ahead and let the coaches deal with it.
  16. Folks, OUs line has 3 legit first rounders and 5 projected NFL players. They average 320 across the line, which includes a RS Freshman at center, arguably the toughest position on the line. They are playing their 5th back on the depth chart (Brooks) after losing 3 for the season (Anderson, Sutton, Pleger) and another for a good chunk of the season (Sermon.) Despite this, they still run the ball better than most teams in the country. That is on the O-line. I've seen Georgia. Georgia will not present the problems up front that OU did. I am encouraged that we really limited their run game and I think we can do the same to Georgia. Fromm, IMO, is not as accurate as Murray, certainly is not the run threat, and doesn't have the targets Murray has. We can absolutely compete with them when we are on defense. Now, our offense may be challenged against their D, but I think we can win this game.
  17. I think all good O-linemen are a little dirty. You have to be. It is probably the toughest position to play on the field. You absolutely have to have a real mean streak to play that position effectively. I didn't see any "cheap" shots in that video, but man if you are playing an NFL caliber O-lineman, you better a) keep your head on a swivel and b) go hard to the whistle and then maybe a second beyond. Hell, go watch any all-district 6A HS lineman in the state and you will see very similar things. They are just nasty.
  18. I know he was drafted #9 overall, but hell, there's still a decent chance he does NOTHING at the Major League level. The MLB draft is littered with first rounder that never played in the Majors.
  19. Fan of all of those guys for sure!
  20. Or Charlie Robison. Shame whats happened to him.
  21. Getting your shit pushed in 5 times a year by SEC SEC SEC > winning the Big XII
