I haven't been in there but I would venture a guess that there are different sections for each sport. He just happened to be in the section where the thousands of trophies for swimming and diving are located.
I thought they were pretty great. They were having a good time on stage - very playful and appreciative of their meteoric rise. When the current tour started they were scheduled to play in an art space. As their buzz grew they had to move to one of Portland's better venues to accommodate the demand.
They sounded great and as an added bonus the crowd was full of alluring young women. You should go.
I always pack a soft flask for shows. This week was Wet Leg, Geese, and The Shivas. Flask of tequila at each show. Oh, and microdose mushrooms for the win. 150mg capsules. Highly recommended. No visuals, just happy feelings.
Is this good?
Pickering joined the Lane staff after a dozen seasons in the Mississippi high school ranks. His 12 teams won 11 region championships, five state titles, and all nine of his starting quarterbacks played at the next level.
I would love to see the IOC straight up purchase/lease a Greek island and create the ultimate Olympic venue site. Host the Summer games there in perpetuity. It could be used for other sport/special events but it would eliminate the host cities from spending billions on venues that are left to rot after the games are over.
Alps and Rockies for winter games.
Went to three shows last week. Monday was All Them Witches with Blackwater Holylight opening. Friday was Ty Segall Saturday was Ural Thomas & The Pain Great week- almost felt normal again.
Took Willow (2yo lab) and Olivia (17yo Pug/JRT/Chihuahua mix) out to the Sandy River Delta. It's a 1000 acre dog park and might just be doggy heaven - at least Willow thinks so.
