but vaccines becoming weaponized in the political arena did not help

Yes, there was Covid resistance bleed over to a lot of other vaccines bc people aren’t rational and can’t think outside their twitterverse and FB comments.

Should the vaccinated even care about these dipshits killing themselves off?

Yes because they take up valuable medical resources.

Well, it’s mostly the kids of the ignorant who suffer from this, so I don’t think it’s quite fair to not being sympathetic with them.

And you’d be surprised on what populations end up having these outbreaks because it’s not all just anti-VAX from the south. It happens in clusters of immigrant populations. Unfortunately they too, have been subjected to vax misinformation mainly from that asshole Wakefield who should be tried for murder.

  3. Unfortunately the majority of wrongful convictions that include the death penalty are from police/leo misconduct. And I haven’t seen the barometer move on cleaning that up. And there used to be cases where a jury recommended life and judge sends to death row.

And we need to save all that nitrogen so dealers can screw customers on tire inflation charges.

It is amazing that people are comparing Brock to Weaver. The two couldn't be farther apart as players.

Brock is a YMCA goon type player who puts an elbow on you constantly. He sets hard picks, and spots up for wide open 3s (because people forget about him). He is a smart player and keeps the ball moving. On defense he is active, but mainly by doing dirty work around the rim.  He is fast or athletic really at all. Like... at all.

Weaver is a live freaking wire. He has to be in the top-3 of most athletic guards I have seen at Texas. Up there with Kerwin Roach. He plays lock down defense on the perimeter with great footwork and fundamentals.  On offense, he is constantly in attack mode and wants to either dunk on you, get a layup, or get to the line. He passes up all but the most wide open 3s.

I don't see Weaver as a "glue guy" at all. He is oozes untapped potential.  And I don't worry that he is out of control.  He actually doesn't turn the ball over much. It just seems like it.

Weaver is a basically a glue guy for now but absolutely has the tangibles to mature into a fantastic lead player (maybe by the end of the year). He compares to Brock's role because he plays in space very well and get some of the dirty work done. And as for Brock, and despite lacking athleticism, he is smart player overall and knows the game. He should at this point anyway. I've seen a lot of smart gritty players bump up the plus/minus without the need to drive past people to the hoop or jumping out of the gym. Brock generated some decent offense last year and that has regressed. Hopefully he finds his shot and confidence in that part of his game.

  5. Cancer rates and deaths from cancer prior to population procreation are a blip. And maybe a slightly bigger blip in life expectancy overall. We have gotten much better at keeping cancer patients alive for a lot longer. Our population (with the developing world catching up) is actively trying to kill itself. Obesity and premature death from related comorbidities. This too, may or may not affect population growth in young generations when speaking about "replacement."  However, our epigenetics and lifestyle could affect fertility rates significantly.

  7. The whole organization appeared to be satisfied that they made the playoffs and weren’t interested in anything beyond that.

Your typical Cowboys fan is still going to delay the new roof they need for the house or forgo their kids’ 529 to continue buying tickets so they can be disappointed at the end of each season.

Looks like ercot was over cautious with their predictions for supply and demand. Big gap between the two and looks to be fine.

Better to be ridiculed for being overly cautious than having the grid go down and don't warn anyone. CYA messaging. We shouldn't have to worry about either one in this state.

  9. If RT has a “system”, then the current roster is either ignorant or has willingly been obstinate in running the “system”.  I’ve seen enough Texas basketball this year to know there is no system.

Maybe, there is a series of broken plays attempted by players who don’t have the tools to perform. But this isn’t just unfortunate recruiting and retention.

    Dak is fucking awful.

He’s possibly the worst QB to have in the playoffs. He helps get you there but he cannot handle the pressure. Rinse and repeat.

If anyone spends more than 3 figures on anything Cowboys,  please send the money to me. I will drive to your house, kick you in the balls and give you half of your money back. Same result for half the price.

I think I've seen this movie before.

You can’t count on the price of Bitcoin or a Texas weather forecast but there are things you can count on.

Ou sucking, aggies’ little brother complex, Gundy being a man, Cowboys flaming out early in the playoffs.
