  1. PK is being toyed with like a cat with a half dead mouse. Middle screen is perfect example.
  2. Not sure the light will ever turn on for Worthy.
  3. Put Maalik in and run a wildcat. We don’t have the o line to run a 150 lb back into the middle.
  4. Gee wally, I hope we can get Beard’s girlfriend’s 1-10 rating sorted out so Surly can sort out all this domestic violence stuff.
  5. Beard’s GF is squarely in the “No Go Zone” and so we clearly have to question Beard’s judgement. This should have been brought to CDC’s attention prior to a final contract.
  6. Check the url at the top of the browser. It’s what surlyhorns does. No different than the 1st series meltdowns during football season.
  7. Well, there isn’t a stripper or aggressive biting monkey involved this time so we got that going for us…
  8. Let the facts play out but this looks like it could be a s@&$ show of epic proportions.
  9. And the vandals appear to be demagoging one high profile entity based on the hateful rhetoric of others. I mean “hate” by purposeful incitement of violence or the wish of violence/death on another person or people. Views that are not consistent with NT teachings.
  10. Qatar will do whatever it takes to keep money flowing into its coffers. If turning a blind eye to the totalitarian regime in Iran keeps oil flowing then Qatar is on board.
  11. How? I don’t see anything in that manifesto that religion warped him. It looks like it might have given him pause. On a scale of 1-10 how open are you to changing your mind about your blanket opinion if provided with evidence to the contrary? Obviously not about this Thompson character who is probably not Christian.
  12. What does “false prophet” mean because that’s now a ubiquitous slander and how does sharing a tweet of bombastic angry man who posts pictures of vandalism prove your point?
  13. Quinn definitely had some brain freeze moments today. I'll give credit to Sark that he didn't keep trying to pound a round peg into a square hole and shifted play into manageable situations and of course, had one of the best running back tandems in the country take over the game. But yea for second half adjustments. I couldn't believe my eyes.
  14. 99% of every thread in Football, DT and CR. And whatever thread that people bitch about the website and its posters.
  15. So you’re basically saying you weren’t paying attention to the words. As for Bijan, the dude is cut from a different cloth. Physically and mentally. He’s a smart guy and has navigated the NIL well. He seems to love the college game. Everyone on here is guessing because they don’t have the paradigm Bijan has. I could see it going either way. Happy for the guy either way. And either way, he is a great representative for Texas football.
  16. No clue, maybe a few who brave it and the lucky ones in boxes and under overhang. If the game gets out of hand one way or another, I expect mass exodus. Rain and winds out of the north 15 mph. Fantastic! Which team gets an edge with craptastic weather?
  17. I appreciate you not being unhinged in your response because I am aware of your revelations about yourself on this site because I'm not responding to frothing unhinged post. I don't belong to Focus on the Family or utilize any of their resources. But the original implication (and now admitted as tongue in cheek) that was the violence perpetrated here was directly responsible by groups that disagree with homosexual marriage/lifestyle. Many posters have now decided to make this a referendum on the evangelical church and their views on homosexuality and marriage. You absolutely can find a lot of hateful rhetoric from mainstream "christians" and there have been many threads on the topic. But that's one of the biggest strawman for this shooting that I've seen on this site outside the CR. The original topic was whether the shooter was a member of a Christian organization (or received his violent referendum) that advocated for violence toward the community that visits the nightclub. And that's not the case so far. There is no ground swell movement within evangelical circles to commit or condone violence. Pew research shows well over half of evangelicals support homosexuality or don't think much about it (live and let live). I'm not accusing you of this but it's intellectual dishonesty to pin this recent shooting on one or two factors of influence. Colorado has laws for this. They weren't followed. These laws were passed partially in response to Sandy Hook. There is failure in the system. But the shooting was preventable.
  18. More fringe and not representative of mainline large organizations like Focus on the Family. Fallwell backed off his rhetoric 20 years ago. And while Pat Robertson is a stain on evangelical Christianity, he is not representative of the whole. The logic of applying fringe guilt to a whole group with a same label is what the far right used to codemn all Muslisms for terrorism. Not a good strategy. Kudos for your research. So if you’re going to throw a large organization in with the hateful rhetoric of these churches and TV huckster, then you need to provide examples of their rhetoric that supports hate and violence.
  19. Pollard has a gear I haven’t seen from Elliot in a couple of years. Bijian is Zeke and Elliot combined. Hope he doesn’t get wasted on a J Jones team however.
  20. This is Surlyhorns. Jumping to conclusions and hyperbole are not only tolerated but condoned and rewarded.
  21. Well it’s probably a good sign that your kids don’t like booze.
