  1. Yes, I know it ended the game. Work with me here folks...
  2. He got 2 minutes for this, no? Crosschecked on the next shift? The rare Sweden/Norman connection...
  3. Does Paramount+ work for anyone else trying to watch Europa Cup? No bueno today or 3 weeks ago either. Really pissing me off.

The fried chicken is good, although I’m not sure I’ve had it there since before Covid shutdown.

The Red Arrows fly over Silverstone because they they fly training aircraft in an aerobatic role, not combat aircraft. Red Bull's Flying Bulls fly over the Austrian GP - decommissioned military aircraft owned by a private company. The flyover at Abu Dhabi is a commercial Etihad jet and the Al Fursan aerobatics team - again flying training jets as part of an aerobatic team, although Al Fursan did not fly last year. I could see the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels being allowed under the aerobatics loophole. Chinooks and Apaches are dead center in the middle of the ban, so I'm curious about how that is still allowed.

Right, I assumed that. I'm curious as to what the loophole is.

Question: Military flyovers were banned a couple of years back, yet we had an Apache/Chinook flyover this weekend. How did that happen?

  9. There isn't one. Set up a PayPal, Venmo and Apple Pay account and you should be pretty well covered. I use PayPal to buy shit online so I don't have to enter my CC card as much, or fill out the addresses. Venmo for dealing w/ people. Apple for Tap To Pay.
  10. I was ready to burn down my closest Chase branch last week. Sent a $395 payment via Zelle on the Chase website. Start getting calls from a random number - not the number I already have saved for Chase, because I have unknown callers silenced. They leave a message that it's Chase Fraud, so I call back. Ostensibly, they want to verify that I am making the payment on purpose, I wasn't scammed, etc. They couldn't have been a bigger pain in the ass. Asking me what the payment was for, so I tell them "fraternity alumni dues" which is exactly what is written in the notation of the transaction. What's that? What's that for? Motherfucker - it's clear that I sent it, and I don't need to bulletpoint what my fucking dues are. Denied. Try again later. Mind you - my whole account is also frozen now, not just the Zelle payment, which is not frozen, but cancelled altogether. Call back to try again. 1st security question asks what state my SSN card was issued - I'm an army brat and got my SSN at like 6 months...none of the provided state options are anywhere I lived. 3rd security question asks what color my 2014 Toyota 4Runner was - I have had 2 2014 Toyota 4Runners, in different colors. She tells me to pick one - wrong, apparently, so denied again. Was coming out of my fucking skin. Finally crack the code on the next call (different security questions), get the payment sent through, and immediately text the guy I was sending it to to cuss him out for making us use Zelle. Couple hours later I see him in the comments telling guys they can just Venmo him. *this close* to murder.

I honestly have no sympathy for people complaining about hat prices at a race. You can buy the exact same hat for less than half that online. https://f1store.formula1.com/en/hats/d-19551120+z-9710312-1048507607

I hope when they visit those repercussions for Lando after the season, he clears his throat and brings today up as Defense Exhibit A.
  17. Got your Mainz boys coming to town next week, @Hayduke
  18. Nice little run we've got going lately. Early days, but 4 straight and 5 W in 6 matches isn't bad.
