Williams talking all weekend about how fast they should be here and both drivers out in Q2. smh
  2. I’m out in the neighborhood a couple times a day, every day and notice everything - typically some trash on the ground a contractor has left, nothing earth shattering. This was out there this week, and I’m honesty shocked. This rock is probably 5 yards from my property line, right up on the road, so I see it multiple times a day, every day. How did a turtle get up on that rock? How was it there long enough to die and decompose? How did I not see it until the absolute end stage as it is now? I feel like that’s a multiple week process, no? The fox (guessing) shit on there is a nice touch. Turtles aren’t a thing in this neighborhood- lived here 25yrs and have never seen one wandering around lost.
  3. I'm still pissed at my seats and what was available to the public. I halfway want it to be empty just so I can feel justified in my crankiness.

Little better pic of that UTEP lid. Horrible job by the equipment guys on the decal though. Good lord.

  6. I'm sure this has been shown before, but it's always fun

  9. Nothing to do w/ Shane Gillis, or the irrational infatuation of same: The Pickup Artist was filmed in Austin. Very funny to see people you know on that show, out at clubs getting hammered in the background. Couple friends even ended up speaking on camera.
  10. Consider the source and all, but conflicting reports on the cost:

Holy shit the food on their website looks delicious - pho w/ lobster tail and ribs? So very in.

Another friend suggested The Local ATX. Hope to get a good list going here.

Have lunch fairly regularly with a buddy who's business is in San Marcos, so always trying to meet south to cut his travel time. Moreno BBQ, Satellite ATX and Oasthouse are the last couple of spots we ate. Looking for quality sit down lunch that isn't going to break the bank or take forever (Leroy & Lewis). Throw some names at me - prefer locations closer to MoPac than 35, and definitely not East of 35. tia
  14. Man, I miss that Wahoo's on W 6th. Couple of shrimp tacos and black beans/rice w/ their pico was a great lunch.
  15. I get a craving every couple of months, and even though the ordering process hasn't always gone smoothly, that location has been pretty high quality overall. What's funny is they've ditched the idea of being completely digital and now all digital orders are delivered curbside (no more drive through, which kinda sucks), and you can now order at a walk-up window or at the drive through like every other fast food place.

Rice trying to horn in on that Oilers-ish aesthetic
  17. If you want to start at the very bottom, do 10 pushups, 10 situps, 10 air squats, 5x a day. Gradually move those numbers up to 12, 15, 20. Google body weight exercises and start mixing in the ones you like. In no time at all, you'll have a nice little routine going. I think I mentioned it upthread, but my current routine is next to nothing, but it's helped a ton. 60 second Yogi Squat - I've learned to love these. After you get them down, you can really feel all the different muscles, and especially your back posture 60 second plank 20 pushups - I've started to change hand positions each round just to make sure I'm getting all areas of chest 20 air squats - I try and focus on dropping my ass directly over my heels and using my glutes to stand back up as opposed to my quads Like, that's pretty much nothing, but 5x a day adds up. Honestly, my chest hasn't looked this good since I was lifting regularly 20+ years ago. Not huge or anything, but at least somewhat defined now. Triceps are popping too - I really need to start doing some chin ups for my biceps.
