  1. https://x.com/CBSSportsGolazo/status/1889426471757733946 Guess I'm going to have to figure out reddit if I want to embed vids from now on...
  2. Hit ESPN on the way home now and Jeff Ward spent the entire segment talking about a school volunteer who got let go because a busybody mom found the volunteer's OnlyFans. Motherfucker thinks he's still on 590AM.
  3. Great read on 9th Street: https://texashighways.com/outdoors/recreation/bmx-bikers-flip-out-at-austins-9th-street
  4. Playing the US Virgin Islands This is kinda fucked up.
  5. Holy shit, what a slaughter. Goals for US @ minutes 2, 5, 8, 9, 13, 15, 19 7-0 before 20 minutes played.
  6. S2 of Mo was kinda meh.
  7. Texas soccer superstar Lexi Missimo returns home, signs with Dallas Trinity FC
  8. Peak Tatum, peak Kornett tonight. Unstoppable.
  9. Be interesting to see how the Knicks close the season.
  10. Well, on Westlake's schedule they called it JV...on Jesuit's schedule they called it Varsity B, confirmed by my friend, who said Jesuit's JV didn't travel. Friend's kid had a nice bounce shot goal right after I had a frustrated rant about no bounce shots and a shitload of missed/saved goals, so that was satisfying. Jesuit looked sharp, imo - lot of smart lacrosse plays, multiple quick, connected passes leading to a quality shot. Defense held Westlake to 6 goals (13-6 final - Jesuit).
  11. Watched S1 last night and will probably watch S2 tonight. Pretty good shit. The Paul Wall cameo was pretty funny, if predictable.
  12. That didn't take long.
  13. Also kinda weird that Dortmund keeps him just to sit him. Been there for 5 seasons, 121 appearances, and how many starts? Less than 20? Would love to know the % of minutes he's played vs potentially could have played (healthy/in the lineup).
  14. That's freakin' awesome! I know y'all are just neck deep in lacrosse family living - whole life scheduled around games. Good luck to the ladies Bogget this season - may they see many wins and few injuries. Headed over to Westlake HS to see my fraternity brother's kid play for Jesuit JV against the Chaps. So cool to see so many of my friend's kids playing a sport that was super niche when I played and so much more mainstream now, knowing I'm the 1st person they knew who played and introduced them to the sport.
  15. 2-1 win for VfB Stuttgart at BvB Dortmund today. Nice to see first class fußball from my side in such an inconsistent season, compared to last. Absolutely dominant for the majority of the match. edit: Damn! Apparently that's our 5th W in a row vs Dortmund! Fuck yeah!
  16. heh...I'm a week in and still all jazzed up about getting into a new "thing", but I'm also smart enough, and experienced enough, to know that's going to fade and I'll need to hold strong. Trying to keep a good headspace and help myself stay stoked about another day of clean eating, every day.
  17. Getting serious about my diet as I'm tired of having a beer belly and being ~30# overweight. Looking for recipes and app suggestions for tracking calories/nutrition. Going off of @troph's post in the Ozempic thread (trying to avoid going the Ozempic route, mostly because it's a massive pain in the ass and expensive) and using this diet: I know she said she ate as much as she wanted and didn't count calories, but I need to as I eat way too fucking much. I have purchased a scale to weigh my food, but I need to find an app to track it. Would prefer free, but as I google, I see that many apps that started out free have monetized the better features such as recipe saving and barcode scanning. What are y'all using? Likes/Dislikes? Feel like a blender is in my future as smoothies seem like a mainstay. Any suggestions? Would love to keep it under $100.
  18. You're a couple dead folks away from a mass shooting there.
