at the end of the day brienne is still just a woman.  lots of women can beat a dude’s ass.  the best female  fighters in the world would still get their asses beat by the lowest rungs of male ufc fighters.  the kings guard would have brienne staring at her entrails in her hands while she was still taking breath.

No no no.  Brienne beat the Hound.  She's top ten on the show.

wrong again.  you’re making a habit of that.

Loco, it’s not like brienne could just roll through a bunch of Kong’s guard. Maybe give any one fits, but not bunches

They could both roll.  Not if they were surrounded, but like in a line running down a hallway Brienne would easily go through the lower level Kings Guard one on one.  The officers might take more effort, but she would pretty much embarrass them too.  Arya could also move through those same KG but in a different way.  She doesn't need a face to do it.  Arya sparred Brienne to a draw and Brienne is one of the elite combatants we've seen on the show.  She's top ten.  Arya is an elite assassin now.  I know the transformation seems a little abrupt, but that's the facts.  Arya is small and Brienne is big so they are different fighters but they could both move through Kings Guard fairly easily.

  3. I'm not sure Cersei is going to be around the fighting.  She'll send the golden company North to intercept the winner of the battle of Winterfell.

We know that Daenerys is Jon's aunt so their relationship can never be.  We also know that the Night King can see past, present, and future just like Bran.  The NK was also a regular man until the children of the forest converted him.  Which family (house) did he come from?  It will be funny when Jaime tells everyone at Winterfell that he pushed Bran out of the tower.  He's riding North to join the fighting but probably forgot all about that push.

Kind of need a boot to mount them and I want to buy boots so someone who can sell me the boots and then mount my bindings but I want someone who knows what they are doing.  some good ones on the web page but wonder what is in stock.  Part of me is tempted to wait until next season and do it in all in a ski town in March.

To get them mounted now just go see JP and tell him what you want and that you don't have a boot yet.  The best answer is to just use any boot if you know your shell size.

I don't know if SnS has winter stuff still on the shelves.  Didn't you get some Orbs?  Don't under power those skis with an intermediate boot.  I would get boots at a mountain shop, or a city that skis a lot and has shops with gear on the shelves year round.

    1) Who is the best boot fitter in Houston?

Are you looking for the whole thing from sale to tweak?  Ideally you go out and ski a recently tweaked boot so someone can make minor adjustments.  JP is the guy to do the tweaking and is probably a solid salesman.  The first pair I bought back in 92 were with his help.

If you’re just buying a pair right now, these local stores don’t carry the better models and you can’t really tweak a boot from this spring to next winter.

Here is a tough question for Houston-based skiers...

    1) Who is the best boot fitter in Houston?

I realize that the "best" may mean "only".  I can only think of two Sun & Ski locations and maybe (but probably not) REI

JP at Sun and Ski Westheimer.  Salt and pepper hair, earring.

I'm not sure it was either.  But altitude probably didn't help.  Something more with vertigo IMHO.

Maybe just your chemistry that day combined with altitude and possibly not being hydrated enough.  I've had the sudden onset of vertigo combined with general weirdness, leading to the puke/feel better ending.  Maybe you were going to have one of those that day regardless of where you were, but being at A Basin sure didn't help.

Israel shows remarkable restraint.  They have the ability to wipe out the Palestinians.  They aren’t willing.  Palestinians are the opposite.  No ability.  But willing.

They are willing but they know that if they do, it's their ass.

I did that, off of the Jungfrau.  Really cool.
I did not get sick then, nor ever at altitude - until last year.

I don't think that was an altitude event.
