  1. “When I went out to Austin a couple of weeks ago I was really surprised with how nice and modern of a city it was. “ I love stereotypes of Texas lmao. 10 bucks says kid expected College Station when he came to town.
  2. Noon on January 3rd.
  3. Please. Impeachment won't and should not begin until Mueller concludes his investigation and Pelosi and Schumer will ensure that. The Democratic policy should be reopen the House investigation if they win the House and to hold weekly sessions in the either the chamber(s) of Congress they win where they bring in members of Trump campaign, transition team, and administration. Once a month after about 6 months, they should begin bringing Trump family members in on a cycling basis once a month. Continue doing this until they find enough to impeach or Mueller wraps up his investigation. After all the shit the Republicans pulled this year in the HPSCI, I say we throw it back in their face so in 2020 we can sweep everything from statehouse offices to congressional seats and the Presidency and drive a stake through the heart of Republicans and their bullshit. Every state should do what California did and move redistricting to a non-partisan committee. The districts we have today are a fucking joke and the idea of representatives choosing their districts is equally laughable. We don't need to cheat to end them for good in the House. I think current gerrymandering requires us to go +3.5 or something like that nationally to get even representation and that in pretty much every election since 2000 there are more Democratic voters than Republican voters. Get non-gerrymandered districts and the House goes Democratic representing the plurality of voters that don't want to vote Republican after Bush (people keep forgetting because of how bad the Republicans are today that they were still really bad 18 years ago and imo their descent to madness began with Gingrich's ascendancy to Speaker) the Senate will be a tossup as it should be and things will be a lot better.
  4. Maybe he is playing one of those word ladder games where you can only change one letter at a time?
  5. I'm cautiously optimistic which is the state everyone should be. Keep in mind what happened from 1994-1998 after the Agreed Framework went into effect. When it came time for the US to hold up their end of the deal, the Republican Congress chose to renege on the deal and drag their feet despite President Clinton's requests and as expected the North Koreans not only resumed their nuclear program but did it at a much faster rate. There is time for Congress to fuck it up, time for the President to fuck it up, time for the North Koreans to fuck it up, time for the South Koreans to fuck it up, time for the Chinese to fuck it up, and time for some other power or unforeseen flashpoint to fuck it up. For something like this, where the ink hasn't even been put to paper, let alone dried, it is way too early to be anything but cautiously optimistic (ok, technically they did have the Panmunjom Accords, but that's basically just a promise they'll sign an accord in the future to end the war which is about as useful as a recruit's commitment a year before NSD; yeah maybe he stays, but maybe he decommits three times between now and NSD too). I am happy that at least thus far, President Trump's gambit seems to have worked.
  6. So what is the solution in your mind?

  8. Wrong SC. Fight on is Southern California
  9. Yeah when you have the best offensive line in college your QB has a lot more time to not have to act or think under pressure, you know the main area that makes college freshman look bad. While Cam and Casey would obviously benefit from time with Yancy, it's not like they don't have the physical tools to succeed right now. If we put them behind Alabama's OL they'd be great and all would be well for them. They'd fuck up occasional as freshman quarterbacks are wont to do, but hey they'll succeed a lot more than they fail. Put them behind our OL and they'll be mentally and physically broken by Thanksgiving.
  10. Well, looks like that visit for Shepherd on Friday got a little more scary.
  11. So...You know how their starting left tackle Koda Martin is pretty bad but has to start because everyone else they have is much worse? Yeah, well he just transferred to Syracuse today. Remember no matter how bad our OL is, it could always be worse.
  12. Him, Bru, and Floyd make for a good SoCal squad. Let's get em all
  13. Oh wait, I messed up my words. Kris Kobach, head of Trump's Voter Fraud Panel, FOUND to have failed to follow proper voting procedures and direct orders from federal judge. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/18/us/kris-kobach-voter-fraud.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur Kris Kobach, Face of Trump’s Voter Fraud Panel, Is Held in Contempt by Judge
  14. It depends on how good the McCombs student was and how good the Stanford Media Studies graduate is. If the McCombs student is an above average McCombs student and the Stanford Media Studies student is an above average Stanford Media Studies student, I'll take the Stanford kid. They'll have taken the necessary math classes for me to teach them what they need to do business. It's really not that hard to learn if you got a couple brain cells. Now, if it's an elite McCombs kid vs an elite Stanford Media Studies kid, I'll take the McCombs kid because the tops of most good schools are roughly equal in terms of raw skills and the kid has business training which should save me some time getting them to speed. If they're average or below average wherever they are, I'm not considering them.
  15. @rickyspub to the courtesy phone, please!
  16. 9 wins. We beat Maryland last year and we're already at 8. Beat Tech and we have 9. With Orlando's defense operating at full strength throughout the year and not having the first game issue, I think we don't have the same issue we did last season. I also think we beat USC this year. J.T. McDaniels is going to look like a stud by the end of next year but I pity the QB thrown into the face our D in the third game of his freshman year. That gives us 10. I think we beat OkSt and lose to WVU unfortunately. I think we lose to TCU and OU again. If I had to guess I think those three and one random game I think we won are our losses so we go 9-4.
  17. Make sure to stop by Salt and Straw for some ice cream in Portland. Best ice cream I've ever had. Beats Lick by a good margin imo and therefore, obviously blows out Amy's out of the water (still love Amy's though). I'd recommend getting a flight and treating yourself.
  18. When did Jesus become a month?
  19. I'll be there for only 4 days unfortunately. I love hiking (and nature in general for that matter), love learning about history, and most of all love eating food. I'm a pretty big foodie. I'd prefer to hit a range of restaurants at different price points ideally (from fantastic street vendors to Michelin starred restaurants to things in between) to get a feel for the food scene there. Obviously I prefer to conserve money where possible, but dropping some at a nice place that's worth it is fine by me. That being said, considering it is my first time to Taiwan, I'd prefer to have more traditional meals than a Taiwanese twist on haute cuisine. Edit: Just saw you went even more in depth after the post I quoted. Thanks so much for this info, this helps a lot.
  20. Wow this is some next level stupid. I guess you have to be this stupid to lose money as a casino
  21. Attorney client privilege is still a thing. However, it isn't, and never has been absolute. See Clark v United States where the crime-fraud exception is defined.
  22. You know that has been completely debunked right? The timeline for the "4chan trolled the CIA" story doesn't line up at all with reality and you're a moron for believing it.
  23. Stupid article is stupid.
