  1. Please if we negged those who didn't drink the Kool-Aid then Satya would have been crowdsourced moments after he made his first post. No, we are fine with negativity and sandy vaginas to some degree. What we don't tolerate is pants-on-head level stupidity (we do tolerate a lot of stupidity though or else we'd all be banned, coelenterates, normal humans, and all in between). Your post was fucking dumb, it was provably dumb, and you should feel ashamed for posting it. This decade is our worst in history, no one disputes that, but to pretend no one gets up for us anymore is just laughable. We get everyone's best for the most part (unless you ask Georgia fans who will proudly claim a team that fought for points down three scores mid-way through the fourth didn't actually want to be in a NY6 bowl and that we got lucky). We are the news. And we will be good eventually again. It's a question for when, not if. People like your stupid-ass pea-brain self would be claiming no one cares about Alabama anymore after the Dubose, Franchione, and Shula era at Alabama as Nick Saban comes in and you would criticize anyone who said "uh...people still care about us and that's despite us being in the worst period ever" and claim that the board is now TexAgs. If you're going to make such stupid arguments, just accept it when everyone calls you regarded.
  2. You know Texas football didn't start with Mack right? He wasn't even our program's most successful coach. Someone has been brainwashed but it's not us. You've been brainwashed by a decade of suckitude to believe we're not that great. Reality shows otherwise. Before things went off the rails in 2010 we were the second winningest program in college football history all-time behind Michigan who got to rack up 100 nonsense wins in scrimmages where they taught the other team the rules of the game just before playing. Yes we've sucked this decade but we're probably the sixth best program in college football all time behind Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, USC, and ND. Just ahead of Michigan and Nebraska imo. This reputation and hatred doesn't fade. We will always be hated
  3. Jesus AMYZF. Heavily considered buying 13k but chose to play it safe and only buy 1.3k. Oh well profit is profit but damn those gains would have been nice
  4. 250 UUU shares filled at 5.08. Thanks for the heads up guys
  5. Most recent adds were about 30 grand into EOSE, NK, MU, LUV, BNGO, ARKG, ASO, AMYZF, AAPL, and GOOG plus I am trying to open up a position in UUUU at 5.08. Most of this is based on advice I received here with a bit from personal research, so I hope you guys are right. Is there room to open up a position in ALPP or have I missed the bus?
  6. Starting salaries for EE/CS folk, at least for those who headed west, will generally be 100-120k with total comp getting into the 150-250k range. If they stay in Texas, I think 70-100k with total comp 100-130k is probably the norm, but tbh most people I knew headed to CA/WA.
  7. To be fair she's been right every time. The Chiefs are undisciplined as fuck
  8. Remember when Florida fans tried to argue that Townsend was in the same league as Michael Dickson? Pepperidge Farm remembers
  9. Wharton is good but most b school students are pretty regarded. Unless they went to Huntsman or M&T within the Wharton school. Then they're probably very smart
  10. Woah woah woah chill out there buddy. Agreed on Swarthmore and Carnegie Mellon, but Nova? Nova is overrated and even in their overrated rankings they're not UPenn level. UPenn is a solid school on par with the second tier of state schools like Michigan, NC, Texas, UCSD, UCSB, Illinois, etc.
  11. Well, with the split of pennies to its own thread that should free up room here for discussion on S&P500/Russell 2000 plays. I doubled down on a lot of my non-GME position in the wake of the pullback on Friday while I reduced my GME shares position to about $6500 which proved to be a pretty good decision (I do intend to diamond hands that position to 0 or the moon, whichever happens first). I've also loaded up on some bullish QQQ weeklies and GME $400 calls today as a play that intends to play off their inverse relationship hoping that both move more aggressively in their chosen direction than the market priced in (yes I understand that sounds insane given the 580% IV of 2/5 GME $400 C right now, but if a positive move does happen, I could easily see it being ITM in a day. And if it does move up aggressively, I have little doubt it could break past 430 which is my breakeven). I am not too worried if my GME calls go to zero either as from my perspective with prior gains locked in, I am playing with house money since the shares and calls could go to zero and I'd still be up on that position alone more than I expected my entire portfolio to go up in a year.
  12. Isn't the obvious answer to that the fact for 40% of the week buyers were heavily restricted? It makes sense that some paper hands get shaken out on Tuesday after they are quite happy with big gains but then see a drop that scares them. If unmanipulated by brokerages, I would expect to see buy/sell behavior closer to Monday than to Tuesday.
  13. The news that Redditors can't buy is a sign for everyone who isn't on the Diamonds hand side to sell and run for the doors. If you ever turn off the ability for a highly active stock to be bought indefinitely you will cause the stock to drop by huge numbers. Honestly I'm surprised given the ridiculous nature of the ban that it didn't drop more.
  14. Normally I would make a Chapelle reference here but honestly fuck this. This is blatant manipulation happening in front of our eyes
  15. Tbh I could see us going to 1000+ as brokerages force position closures and shorts are forced to pay shareholders to part with shares they just had returned to them. This will be the most impressive squeeze of all time
  16. A lesson you got paid to learn apparently. Can't beat that
  17. My 2 200 calls are already ITM. God fucking bless man
  18. Thank god you sold. Holy fuck. Will probably be 300 mid-day tomorrow when Citadel says "yeah we're cutting you off after that final billion we promised ya, Melvin" and the hedge fund has to close all their positions following a good ol margin call tonight.
  19. Closed out part of my position but letting some ride. Up 20k today.
  20. Just a cool dude I guess that likes to talk. He sounds like a former high school debater ergo he likes the sound of his own voice? He is smart and wanted others to know it so he likes to do it for the adulation? I mean who knows? We could psychoanalyze it all or just accept it was incredible DD and it helped make a lot of people a lot of money while punishing a bunch of greedy morons. Today was a good day
