  1. I didn’t have a problem with the story revolving around Dickie, but Johnny Boy and Junior should have been much more involved. The whole storyline with Leslie Odom didn’t make any sense and was unnecessary. Plus, where was all the drug use that Christopher mentioned about Dickie? Is this supposed to mean that Dickie’s “habit” was more of a manifestation in Christopher’s mind? With so much great source material to draw from from the original series, my only hope is that this movie is the vehicle that delivers all those great stories via a prequel series.
  2. I’ve grown tired of the hunt as well. 90% of what I’ve purchased this year has come through my Patreon membership with the Bourbon Junkies YouTube channel. I’ve bought 9-10 of their picks (including Knob Creek, Bulleit, Nulu and Starlight to name a few) with many more on the way. Every pick has been great and I’m fine with that. Sure, I’ll keep an eye out on my trips to stores for the allocated stuff, but my days of waiting outside at 8am are done. It’s just not worth it when there’s so much high quality juice out available with much less effort.
  3. Sideserf Cake Studio. It’s run by celebrity baker Natalie Sideserf who has been on numerous baking competition shows. Her cakes are ridiculously expensive, but they are also custom made and very delicious. She can basically make whatever you want. She has a YouTube channel so you can check out some of her work there.
  4. Good plan. That overturn completely changed the tide of the game. KSU was gashing the aggy defense that drive and the replay stoppage gave them time to regroup. Next play the qb throws that horrible pick and bails out their D. It’s a completely different game if they even score three on that drive and go into halftime with some momentum.
  5. Fuck Kent State. This has been a completely winnable game and their qb shit the bed.
  6. Horrendous overturn. Killed Kent State momentum and got the crowd all charged up. Thanks, fucking moronic ref.
  7. Or you could just suck the spillage between those nice tites
  8. Yeah those III and IV batches can still be found quite often. I hear they’re both really good as well, so enjoy!
  9. Agreed, it's just a money grab. A few short controlled scrimmages against another team is all that's needed. And injuries happen in practices all the time. It sucks, but it’s part of sports. Injuries happen. Preseason is definitely “needed” to get rookies and younger players in-game action as well as for roster evaluation. Whether teams charge fans to see these games is a different argument. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and can show out next season.
  10. Opened it last night. Lots of berry fruit flavors came through for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  11. Remus Repeal V is dropping. If you find a bottle, grab it. It’s phenomenal. I found one at Total Wine on Wednesday night on the shelf for $79.
  12. Who would have thought that Katfid had not one, but two moonlighting gigs right now?
  13. I just meant dynamic from the standpoint that they had effective passing and running offenses. I can’t imagine that Calzada or King is going to light the world on fire early in the season, so #6 is way too high for them. I’d say they’re more in the 10-15 range.
  14. Totally agree. How good is that running game going to be when teams dare Calzada/King to throw the ball early in the season to prove they’re any good? Yeah their defense is good, but I can’t imagine their offense being nearly as dynamic as last year when Mond was running the show.
  15. Based on these measurables, I’m expecting nothing less than 2009 Ndamukong Suh-level production or I’ll consider Murphy a total bust.
  16. Oh yes, both of them are phenomenal as well. Too bad they were limited to only a single scene. I know Daddario’s we’re only in a single scene as well, but when you’re the best, you’re the best. Anna Paquin needs to be up there as well. She was naked all the time in Trueblood, so she should be rewarded. Roz from GOT is really good as well.
  17. I’ve watched a ton of HBO over the years and like to think of myself as an HBO tits aficionado. In my expert opinion, if Daddario’s tits are exhibit 1A, Sydney Sweeney’s are 1B. I may go so far to say that no two better pair of tits have graced the small screen at the same time.
  18. The ACL Blue Note 17 pick is phenomenal.
  19. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 oz. pour of GTS 2020 ($46) tonight alongside my Oscar style ribeye from Fleming’s tonight. The only other GTS I’ve had was a 2019 and the 2020 absolutely shitstomps it.
  20. Landed an ECBP store pick from Skip’s in New Braunfels. It was a preorder, but the barrel should come in next month, hopefully. ECBP is definitely one of the most undervalued bottles on the market and I can’t wait to compare this pick to the regular A/B/C batches.
  21. Kosher Rye Recipe is the best one. Do you have that one?
  22. You could have a “tainted” bottle. I believe if you call the distillery and read off some of the info that’s on the laser etching they might confirm if it’s a bad batch or not. I’ve never had to do it, but I’ve heard second-hand that’s a thing.
  23. I thought it appropriate to celebrate our pending move by pouring some Sam Houston 14 and Sam Houston 15. Both are very fine pours, but pale in comparison to aggy tears.
  24. The only thing that contributed to Shaka’s downfall was his atrocious coaching. He had at least as much, if not more talent than Baylor and Tech. Outside of this year’s conference championship (which I consider an outlier and a fluke due to all the Covid interruptions) his legacy is one of extreme futility and underachievement. I never though it was possible to do less with more than Barnes did, but Shaka set a new low bar for that standard.
