  1. Oh I have two other bottles (batch 20 and batch 24). It may be my favorite bottle in my collection. Haven’t opened this new one yet, but probably will soon just to compare all three.
  2. Found a Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend (batch 53) at a mom and pop store tonight for $300 and had to pull the trigger. Retail is about $175 and you never see this bottle in the store, so I had to do it.
  3. The PG rye is the tits. Enjoy!
  4. I don’t mind a movie of this kind being made….it just feels really weird to do as a Pixar release.
  5. Yeah, my seven year old enjoyed it too. I just expect more from a Pixar-brand movie. Luckily Lightyear will out this summer to redeem themselves.
  6. Turning Red was awful. Didn’t feel like a Pixar movie at all. It felt more like an autobiography of whoever wrote or directed the movie. I can see why they just released it directly to Disney+ instead of a theatrical release. This had box office bomb written all over it if it hit the theaters.
  7. Longhorn Cafe has really good CFS. It’s a huge portion and with two sides. Their burgers are also damn good, especially if you get onion rings and throw a couple on top. I’ve been in SA for 11 years now, always living on the north side, and I keep going back to Longhorn Cafe again and again.
  8. It’s astounding how unathletic our roster is overall. We went from one extreme under Shaka where several guys were athletic freaks who could jump out of the gym, to the other extreme with this roster. While I do like that we’re a more fundamentally sound team than any roster under Shaka, I’m really hoping these high profile freshman coming in next season give us a few more options for playing above the rim. I think when Beard built this roster in the offseason he was anticipating much more production from Carr. In my option he’s been the biggest disappointment by far. Timmy and Mitchell have been great additions to the roster, but neither have the game to be a top offensive option in the Big 12. I didn’t watch much from Carr during his Minnesota days other than the highlight packages circulated around during his recruitment, so I don’t know if he’s just having a bad season or if he just sucks. Unfortunately, based on what I’ve seen from him so far I think it’s the latter. Hopefully I’m wrong.
  9. Is there any other secondary besides Facebook? 🤣
  10. No idea of the sourcing, but I have one and I really enjoy it. It’s wild ride of flavors. All over the place, but in a fun way.
  11. Damn…..misread. In any event, that Penelope is good stuff.
  12. Hahahaha yeah if Michelob Ultra ran 128 proof
  13. Yeah, the Texas Toasted is great too. I think that one is around $60-$70. The Light Whiskey is 13 years old, so based on other 13 year product that’s available $90 is a pretty good deal considering how good it is.
  14. If you guys see the new Penelope Light Whiskey (13 year) go pick it up. Great stuff. I found some at WB for $90
  15. I’m going to preface my statement by saying I hate BOB with a passion for the constant pain he put me through as a Texans fan (yeah, I’m a glutton for punishment). The guy will be an NFL coach again soon. He won four division titles and two playoff games in 6+ seasons. That’s a better resume than most of the current NFL coaches. Most NFL teams are risk-averse (to their detriment) and are likelier to hire the known quantity than the unproven. I could definitely see him as the new Jags head coach. I’m not saying he’s going to have success, just that he could land the job.
  16. High West Double Rye picks are often finished in wine barrels. Debs had a Double Rye finished in Syrah barrels last year that was awesome. This year the Double Ryes will be finished in Malbec barrels, which I cannot wait for.
  17. They’re losing at least three on that schedule. My guess is Bama, Miami and Florida.
  18. You eating alone is all that needs to be said about your statement.
  19. Players was always my go-to spot. That’s probably my most missed food joint from back in the day.
  20. Also, if anyone comes across the Prideful Goat rye, pick it up. It’s a damn good $60 6 year cask strength MGP rye.
  21. The Penelope Texas Toasted is phenomenal.
  22. Bags>wins every day of the week. If Harris cared about wins he goes to Bama.
  23. Buddy of mine today landed all of these at a mom and pop shop somewhere around Dripping Springs. These plus a few other bottles not pictured set him back $1600. This is probably the biggest one-day haul I’ve ever seen.
