  1. Eventually the protests will die down but I'd say the protesters have "won" in that 1) Chauvin was arrested/charged, 2) the other three cops were charged (although taking 9 fucking days is shameful), 3) enhanced charges for Chauvin, 4) Louisville is severely curtailing no-knock warrants, and 5) many elected officials have found religion. It's up to the protesters to follow though in state/local elections and to hold them accountable.
  2. Well there was also the issue that the claims made in the tweet were so preposterous that it should have merited some google/news confirmation.
  3. Yeah my comment was responding to multiple posts up thread. She's got some really good ideas for what's "in the best interest of the protest." And coincidentally all of them align with her own self interest (win/win). Maybe if they can get organized within the boundaries of the curfew, they can put together a slide deck of best practices for the next round of spontaneous, once-in-a-generation civic unrest 30 years from now.
  4. Anything else the protesters can do to make this more convenient for you?
  5. Courageous stance. Perhaps if there had been any change the last 5-6 times stuff like this was caught on video the rioting could have been avoided.
  6. So no one gets a second chance unless everyone gets a commensurate opportunity?
  7. My sincere apologies if any rednecks reading this were offended.
  8. Don't you think George E. Barnhill, redneck DA Esq. would have publicized that in his letter of exoneration for the Cletii?
  9. You said it yourself he's the ultimate empty suit. He's got nothing of substance to say and I appreciate that self awareness and that he doesn't love to bloviate in front of a camera like Rawlings while deferring leadership of both crises during his tenure to Jenkins and Brown.
  10. It's making fun of TC's cease and desist threat to the Seacow for the Ragonk website.
  11. Now I hope George E. Barnhill is the next one to get goatfucked. "Solid" probable cause. What an asshole.
  12. Thanks for providing perspective on black on black violence in a thread about a racially motivated murder by three rednecks.
  13. Dak is under team control for two more seasons whether they get a deal done or not. And do you really think they're going to get a deal done right now? When they're not certain they will play the whole season and the medium term cap ramifications of the sharp decrease in revenue?
  14. Largely Dismissed in Summary Judgment
  15. Another year of Craig Miller's terrible, painfully unfunny draft profiles.
  16. And I would hope that a handful of posters will dispense with the philosophy of consequence free contract decisions because the cap "always goes up." Bad contract economics do matter. Just look at the Rams and the Jaguars.
  17. Corporate HR "VP" in a large multinational company has forfeited their ability to think. They are strictly slaves to policy and process. I would have ignored her if I was making the hire and I sure as hell wouldn't let HR make a hiring decision.
  18. Yes I'm sure teams are lining up to part with their draft capital in the next 5 days to acquire an unhappy QB playing under the tag who wants to reset the market amidst the backdrop of a pandemic which has put the 2020 NFL season at risk and all but assured that the 2021 salary cap will go down, rather than up. Teams generally love to do business like that with an uncertain economic model over the next few years.
  19. Bring the sports duck back for morning tickers
  20. I'll agree with you that Dak won't be traded. There simply isn't a market for him at all. But he is playing on the tag this year whether he likes it or not.
  21. Danny is out of his element right now. His best contributions to the show are in period comic relief, fun facts that'll take two seconds, early 80s small town hair metal angst, and a couple of halfcourt 3 pointers per show. He was at his best as a driveby contributor with an easy target like idiosyncratic sexagenarian Mike. Bob will provide plenty of similar opportunities for Danny down the road but they've got to get to know one another on air more. But Bob is going to expect more out of him than Mike did behind the scenes.
