  1. Favorite player Josh Allen is a great answer. Also means he ain't sliding for shit lol
  2. 10 years on Gundy's staff, that's an interesting hire. Wonder what his role will be. Hopefully something that helps in the red zone. Maybe this gives Banks more time to coach Special Teams too.
  3. Good list of suitors, that has to mean something about him. Does UGA really even need a portal DT?
  4. Is the deadline gone for tOSU portal entries? Might not matter anyway but supposedly Jim Knowles is heading to PSU. Chip is also a popular NFL OC candidate
  5. Screw San Antonio, a new team should go in Austin or halfway between SA and Austin. We're only a few years from an Austin-SA metroplex anyway
  6. OL coach absolutely needed to go. I'm surprised on Slowik although don't have a strong opinion either way.
  7. I mean, I felt like a specific, semi-mainstream report on offers that have been message board rumors was better than Gerry's grundles or Lebron's investments...
  8. Fwiw and I know these rumors are often wild, Pete Nakos is reporting Jeremiah Smith has a $4.5M+ offer to hit the portal and Carnell Tate has $1m+
  9. That is a different ND guard, Pendleton. Rocco Spindler is the starter who entered. Pat Coogan is the Center.
  10. Still interesting since they were the third finalist for Pregnon. Helps clear competition for Rocco or Pat if UT is interested. I assume only Texas remains in the market out of the three Pregnon suitors.
  11. Per PFF prior to the natinoal champ game, re: Spindler.. The right guard hasn’t committed any penalties on 684 snaps this year. Spindler hasn’t allowed a pressure on 41 pass-blocking snaps in the red zone this year.
  12. From what I remember Moore was reliable early then went through a late season stretch of drops that got jumpstarted with one 2-3 drop game. Let's not forget that he's a true Soph in his first year of playing time. Unless he slacks off, he should get better.
  13. Jerry has been a bad owner for a while but at least he used to be a fun bad owner making splash moves. Now his coaching hires are boring retreads or in-house names, his drafts are a bunch of linemen and defenders, he's quiet in free agency...snoooooze
  14. Wait, seriously? You have a source on that? Wow if true, I was half kidding
  15. Now that it's tOSU tamperin time, how much is Phil Knight about to offer Jeremiah Smith to get in the portal? $5M? 10?
  16. Is Leonard Moore related to UT professor Leonard Moore or is that just a coincidence? Leonard N. Moore | Liberal Arts | UT - Austin (interesting: courses taught includes History of College Football)
  17. I truly think it's the "busy" part. He didn't seem to have these issues as an OC when he could spend a lot of time in-game reviewing/thinking/planning/adjusting. Now he doesn't have that time because he's watching the defense. The problem is that he hasn't compensated. Either he needs more playcalling input from elsewhere, or he needs to step away from the sideline on occasion to strategize offense while the defense is on the field.
  18. In terms of new positions, I would like: 1. A full-time ST coordinator 2. a red zone coach. Ideally someone who can also help with general halftime adjustments. 3. outside the box here: a few "scout team" coaches - people who focus full-time on coaching the Freshman/redshirts to jumpstart their development. Bc I assume the primary coaches are focused on the starters/2nds in all the practice reps. Maybe my assumption is wrong though.
  19. Do guys have NDAs when they come on board? Kinda bs that ATM could now get literally the entire offensive playbook from Amari
  20. It'll be interesting to see how they change things now that there is no limit for on-field assistant coaches. He could hire a full-time ST coordinator, add totally new position coach roles, or more experienced assistant position coaches.
  21. I hope they increased the buyout if he leaves voluntarily so Sexton can't keep holding UT hostage every year. These contracts are always insanely lopsided - pay basically everything to fire a guy but they can leave on their own for pennies
  22. I feel like people underrate the difficulty of being a full-time OC in game while also being head coach. As a standalone OC, you can spend every timeout and defensive possession reviewing clips, thinking about the next drive, talking to players, etc. As HC, you spend that time focused on the defense, special teams and time mgmt. You don't have "free time" to look at clips from previous drives or think about what the offense will do next. Point being - I'm pretty sure Sark can make adjustments as an OC, but does he have the time to figure out what those adjustments should be while also doing HC duties? Probably not. Maybe that's why a playcaller hasn't won a championship in so long..
  23. So to recap: 1. People are already signing rev share agreements even though it hasn't been passed and the DOE is saying Title IX applies 2. It was a multi-year rev share agreement 3. Anyone can leave anytime they want Got it, cool. Seems healthy.
  24. Wait, they don't? Then wtf was all this transfer shit about all these years?
