  1. I'm skeptical we can land a guy like that who (rightfully) thinks he should be a clearcut starter. More likely we end up with a grad transfer or small schooler guy imo
  2. I've only been watching this UA game for a few minutes but saw him do it on the only route I saw from him. He did shake the shit out of the guy on a slant (but didn't get thrown to). You'd think Margin Hooks would coach that out of him
  3. Cook loves the little hopstep right before his break. Can guys do that in a real game or does it throw off the timing too much?
  4. Also, can't be a coincidence that both guys posted essentially identical messages within 24 hours of each other. Someone put them up to it?
  5. Ron's mom said pump the brakes son:
  6. What a finish. Also, how crazy is Tulane's season? 2-10 last year in Fritz's 6th year, now 12-2 this year and a Cotton Bowl win. Insane!
  7. No LB or edge seems dumb. LB is literally Ford (if he returns) and a true Freshman Hill. Then I guess Blackwell, Gbenda and Jett Bush? One edge spot is fine with Sorrell/Finkley but the other is a mess.
  8. The OL is better next year if Jones returns. It's better in 2 years (and maybe 3 too) if Jones leaves now. That's basically the tradeoff most likely. With that in mind, hard to say no if he wants to come back. I'm more interested in seeing what happens at G. That was the weakness this year. Really hope DJ develops enough to break into the starting lineup. He got a bunch of snaps in the bowl game so maybe he's getting there. Anyone know the snap split between him and Cole in that game, and who graded out higher?
  9. Meh not really true. Read the original arrest report
  10. Seems dumb of the staff to ever waste a season on pure special teams. It's impossible to 100% predict that anyone will go pro in 3 years.
  11. This game is making me realize Sark's strategy vs TCU made sense on paper. They crash down so hard on D that the throw over the top is there. Michigan is hitting them, we couldn't.
  12. SIAP but Blue's social media continues to look more and more portal. V dumb to do based on one game, but whatever. Besides him and Worthy, who else do we have on portal watch? Is Barron still at risk? Any other big names?
  13. Austin Jordan could move to S too
  14. Similar to what was posted a few posts ago, I wouldn't be surprised if Sark made a point of getting X the ball yesterday to try to keep him out of the portal. Would've worked too if X's hands cooperated.
  15. Funny how the tampering is getting less and less hidden. Iirc the news about him hitting the portal already said he was expected to go to Wisco. Same with the Wake QB and ND. Not even trying to hide it
  16. Blue leaving would be weird. Publicly he's been very gung-ho about Texas and looking forward to next year, all the way up until today. Sark also called him out this week as the FR who had matured the most this year. But yeah, the lack of snaps yesterday may be pissing him off. That was kind of my guess as well. I have a feeling Sark wanted to use this game as a springboard for next year more than he cared about winning the game itself (a lot of practice passing, played more young guys, the weird RB rotation, etc). Which I'd be ok with tbh.
  17. Umm I'm hoping he just means until the spring @RGBIII ??
  18. That would not be one bit surprising
  19. Grubb signed an extension end of November that put him at $1.5m. Maybe he got another bump. Either way, doubtful he'd leave especially with Penix coming back.
  20. It's more than that with ATM though. Kiffin hates Jimbo's guts, constantly throwing jabs publicly. Pretty sure he's good friends with Sark, not gonna happen with us.
  21. To make up for your incessant thread bumping, can you create a new thread that just contains all the Senior year highlight reels for our signees? That would actually be cool to have in one place.
  22. So this Huard guy was an analyst at ATM the past three years, moved to USC's staff in Feb as an off-field guy, then took over inside WRs when that coach had a personal matter. From USC's website: Luke Huard, who comes from a family of outstanding quarterbacks, joined the USC staff in February of 2022 as an offensive analyst. In March, he took over as interim inside wide receivers coach while Dave Nichol was away from the program for a personal matter.
  23. OU - sisterfuckers, confirmed based on that first paragraph
