  1. Even with our QB situation, I don't really understand how the line is as low as it is. And that's exactly what concerns me. Vegas isn't dumb.
  2. So this, Evan Stewart retweeting how the scheme sucks, and Chris Marshall allegedly walking out mid-practice. Sounds like Jimbo has everything under control!
  3. A lot of interesting stuff on there. One that stands out -- Yards before contact per rush = NEGATIVE ONE...that's no bueno
  4. Maybe so but I'm sure his coaches and aggie fans wont like it one bit
  5. Yeah the DLs for UTSA, Tech, and WVU are nowhere Bama's universe, on paper. But still, the OL needs to play well in pass and run. Obviously need the D to keep playing well too.
  6. Pretty sure Nebraska is a downgrade for Aranda, Stoops, and Pittman. Maybe Klieman too.
  7. Well it's an SC sprain so pretty sure this is irrelevant
  8. I'll be a little surprised if King starts this week tbh
  9. Next couple weeks are gonna ride on the OL. Card is fine with good protection and the running game is gonna be critical.
  10. Damn I didn't even know about Bijan. I assume he'll be ok since he came back? This is becoming one of the worst injury seasons I can remember when including Neyor and Junior
  11. All-time weird decision. Season is fucked, why not wait 4 weeks? Those cornfuckers better not steal Patterson from us before the season ends
  12. I would think so but who knows. Tbh it concerns me a bit that Ewers didn't come back because it sounds like people often do with an AC sprain (ie Drew Brees' comment).
  13. Wtf happened on the OL the the QE injury play? Looked like the play was designed to roll left where we had two receivers and one defender, but Will Anderson came through untouched and Quinn had to spin around to avoid him. Also, Bijan needs new cleats. Dude slips like every play.
  14. I noticed live Guilbeau struggling early with tackling and then Barron seemed to take over effectively. Looks like PFF agrees. Also, Agiye got a snap?
  15. The real miss was Drew Sanders - 11 tackles, 2 sacks vs USCe yesterday. Mathis looks like money saved for sure.
  16. Everyone is just going off Sark's "clavicle sprain" comment which is obviously a little vague and sloppy terminology because you can sprain the AC or SC (which both have clavicle in their full names), but the clavicle itself would only be a fracture. I think people are then just assuming Sark was using layman's terms "clavicle" for AC or SC but that the sprain part is accurate. From there, AC is much more common and lines up with what happened on the play. So bottom line, we're all guessing but hoping the sprain part was true. As noted in a previous post, players often miss no time with an AC sprain. Even OBJ when he had a grade 3 one. But I'm sure it depends on the specifics. edit: AC joint separation is also what Drew Brees said "shoot it up" and get back in there for.
  17. Your point still stands but AC (Acromioclavicular) joint sprain sounds like the more common one actually and is generally caused by that type of hit/fall. AC seems to be the consensus "twitter doctor" guess as to what it is based on Sark's comment and the play.
  18. Did some Googling on potential Ewers injury. Assuming the term "sprain" was accurate, it sounds like an AC sprain is the most likely injury and a fairly common one in football. SC sprain sounds pretty rare and supposedly the Ewers play was a classic AC injury type of hit. I didn't read a ton but the examples I saw for NFL players with AC sprains had them missing very little time (most 0-1 game). Kyler sprained his throwing AC and didn't miss time. Tom Brady sprained his non-throwing one, didn't miss time. Justin Jefferson (WR) didn't miss time. Odell Beckham had a Grade 3 one last year, left the game "shrieking in pain", still played the next week. Mccafrey had an "AC joint separation" and missed at least 2 games (maybe 3, not clear). Will Rogers (Miss St) sprained his throwing AC joint against Bama last year and actually finished the game. Of course, I have no idea severity or if that is indeed what QE has. But I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  19. Kind of cool to see so many players Tweeting out how much they love the team, longhorn nation, etc right now. Can't remember seeing something like that after a loss. Also - sounds like we had a great crowd. Will Anderson said craziest he's ever played in. Love to hear it. Good job fans.
  20. Yeah I was very encouraged by the playcalling while Ewers was in. I know it's what he's known for, but it's still great to see Sark and Ewers execute like that. That's what makes the Ewers injury so heartbreaking (if he misses much time) - we finally saw a glimpse of the offense we've been expecting to see and now it's potentially snatched from us for now. Hate to be that guy but next year is gonna be scary with the extra OL experience, Worthy and Neyor back, and Sanders. Bijan will be missed but still.. Like you said though, the defense was the biggest revelation today. Let's give PK some credit too, he's still the one calling those plays.
  21. Time for some Aggies to get in the motherfucker!!!
  22. Yeah who knows. I assume the xrays came back negative for a break though which seems like good news. QE 2 earlier in the week. QE 3 today. Sigh...
