  1. Not really. Bama's combined 22/23 classes still likely to be better than Aggies, even moreso if you include '21
  2. A couple people on Twitter saying that Johntay tweeted he was going to CS, then deleted it. Supposedly a screenshot on texags. Idk context though, he might've meant he had to get there to do damage control
  3. Yep, but it's worse when you're dealing with pure mercenaries. Someone like Nolen is gonna bail for the first better offer
  4. Thune just put in a conf 8 CB to OU. Sounds like this one's done.
  5. Even if they did get what they were promised, what will they think about Hill getting twice as much? Unless there's something I can't think of keeping them locked in, A&M is going to have to re-up a bunch of guys
  6. Kind of feels like Vasek just wants to get away from Austin and do his own thing.
  7. It am really curious to know how A&M manages their guys in free agency every year. I'm willing to bet numbers are soaring across the board and their guys will know that. Good thing the transfer portal exists. Next year just get the equivalent of Drew Sanders / Ocean Mathis.
  8. Toviano was at LSU yesterday, did he make it to CS? And yeah Hale didn't even spend the night in CS apparently, is at Bama now Hicks was/is at OU (idk which). Twitter rumors that he's skipping A&M which is leading to some speculation that he might be an OU silent now.
  9. Probably them but also good chance of another surprise or two in store, imo. Possibly even Gullette. Clearly the bags are dropping
  10. Anyone else notice that the top 100 recruits are almost all committed somewhere already? I feel like it's way more than in the past. If you scroll through the list, there are very few still uncommitted. Wonder if that's an NIL byproduct and how many flips we'll see.
  11. I'm guessing A&M knows that LB was their one weak spot last class, so they're pouring the bags into it now. Not a good sign for Derion
  12. Kind of amazing how quickly he committed to them after all that. Not even 1pm yet on the day of their event.
  13. Looks like their "one-day only offer" strategy still works after all
  14. Not to mention the transfer portal where top guys are going to hit the free agency market every single year (even if not officially)
  15. I'm sure there's an offer, but his visit also benefits all side even if it isn't that serious. From Jimbo's point of view, this creates a lot of buzz AND puts pressure on Novosad to jump on board. For Nelson, it puts USC boosters on notice to drive up his NIL. Pretty simple Negotiations 101 - you gotta have an alternative option for leverage. With that said, recruiting is a crazy world right now., Enough money and anything could happen, especially with USC allegedly dropping the ball with Addison. The weirdest part to me is still that it's A&M - why not Ohio St. or UGA or something (neither of which have QBs yet). I guess A&M is the biggest perceived money dropper though if you want to scare people.
  16. Lol. Also, Bama now has the #2 and 3 RBs in this class, behind only Owens and right ahead of Baxter.
  17. Don't we have the same edge's and LBs as last year though (except Dorsey)? Unless they expect Freshmen to start.
  18. So he thinks A&M has a 50% chance out of Hill's two finalists? Jeez that's insightful stuff Sam! Good 9.95ing.
  19. Doubtful. Hopefully we get Baxter Aug 10 and Matthews in August, but I can't think of any possible silents who would be ready to announce tomorrow. I might've said Gullette but he no-showed. Maybe Vasek I suppose.
  20. Kinda seems unlikely he'd post anything before Nelson went public. Obviously he knows how many clicks this post will get though.
  21. Sounds like Hale just visited for a day trip, heading to Bama as planned for the weekend.
  22. Yeah all the big transfers do it for a reason. Nelson probably has some NIL advisor telling him to take visits. With that said, if USC can't put real money on the table, anything can happen
  23. USC's NIL failures are clearly the issue here, not Lincoln as a coach/recruiter.
  24. Lol no shit Farell. No one thinks it's "for fun". Everyone knows it's business - it's all about the money! Side note but saw an article that Nelson already has an NIL deal with at least one LA-based restaurant group (high school players can sign NIL in CA). Could be an interesting case study on how to lock your guys down.
