Lol at everyone freaking out about a zero-sum spring “game” that was 1s vs 2s all game. My biggest takeaway is that our 2s suck compared to the 1s. They got dominated on both sides. Shocker. The OL was pretty weak on both sides. Another shocker. 2nd string WRs like dropping passes. Card made some good throws over the middle. Ewers had some nice throws and some bad ones. Kinda like a guy with tons of talent but who should be a high school senior (another shocker).

As Ewers misses a wide open first down.. Look, I hope Ewers is an improvement, just haven’t seen it in this one scrimmage

Unpopular opinion and meaningless vanilla scrimmage, but I think Card has looked better in this outside of the one Ewers bomb. Granted, we’ve missed 75% of the plays

I mean this is comical. They literally just showed one play before going back to commercial

Guess I got my answer. The latter. Fucking lhn is so useless

No 2 min drill for Ewers or did LHN just decide we’d rather see commercials?

SIAP but Switzer just unveiled a new collective that will pay all OU scholarship players $50k per year

2022 Transfer Thread - It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)
I had reservations about adding a guy that quit on some of our current players in the middle of a season. Yeah, I get that Herman was probably the reason, but still. I'm ok with him going to Miami.

8 pages of emails on the statue LOL that’s hilarious. I bet if you put that on twitter you could get 100s of pages of emails just from the side wanting the statue taken down (the other side won’t volunteer that info) proving ATM is whitewashing their FOIA requests. I mean shit, that thing was nationally trending on Twitter and had in-person organized protests on both sides, and you’re telling me there’s 8 pages of emails??

The risk is that he becomes a leading contributor to the 1-star culture Texas has had the last 10 years. Sure, it’s one guy, but every head counts. With that said, he is 100% a take on-field. Idk anything about the off field stuff so won’t pretend to know whether it’s worth it. Mathis can only be a good addition. Only question is whether he’s a star or just a decent starter / good backup. Either way, take.

SIAP but apparently as of a few days ago Louisiana is now letting high schoolers sign NIL deals. Arch about to get paidddd Also one step closer to full-fledged free agency. Every state is gonna be allowing this soon just to keep up

Jimbo 2023: Watch.The.Tape.
A&M with a "VERY heavy lean" from a 5-star CB out of Alabama? Nothing to see here folks, all being done above board! Must just love Jimbo, College Station, and the zero CBs they've put in the NFL there.

Looks like the key is when you enter the portal. If you enter the portal by Feb 1, you can stay in the SEC without sitting out. After that, you sit a year if staying in conference.

Seems pretty clear that Mims was recruited into the portal by FSU and/or Miami. I’d take him for sure but long shot for us imo. Agiye probably wasn’t recruited in and we have obvious ties to him. Is he worth taking? On field, 100%. But impossible to say without knowing what happened that got him suspended. We aren’t in a position to take a bunch of questionable culture guys though. I bet he’ll look at the Florida schools and USC too. Caleb Johnson is a bizarre one. Sure it’s a different staff but what about the teammates he left high and dry when he peaced out? In the short term, Mathis still the most important of all of them tbh.

2022 Masters - The Return of Tiger
At this point, Scottie just needs to aim middle of every green, tee off with irons/woods/whatever he hits straightest
