  1. Don't we have a receivers coach? There and on that key 3rd down in the first half, he didn't look the ball in. He turned his head away. That is very fixable.
  2. Well we will have to play in the state of Arkansas, Starkville, MS, Gainvesville, FL and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Your point in #8 is?
  3. There's nothing wholesome about Disney anymore.
  4. Plus, the Big 12 might well be on Fox.
  5. CBS has the afternoon slot with the Big 10. So the noon slot wouldn't work with the Pac. It would have to be prime time against the Big 10 on NBC and the SEC or ACC on ABC.
  6. Actually it sounds more like what Fox wants to keep them whole.
  7. Finally! At least---almost finally. Still have to make Fox happy. I never expected 2021 or 2022. Thought it would be 2023 or maybe 2024. When ESPN got the SEC CBS contract, then it looked like 2024 was the likely date. Hopefully it gets done.
  8. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/2022/12/14/ucla-can-join-big-ten-university-california-regents-decide/10899822002/ Some realignment news buried in here: “"...I would love there to be harmony amongst everybody,'' said Rich Leib, chair of the UC Regents. "To be honest with you, I would love for Cal in the Big Ten. ... But that’s not where it is right now.’’ Leib said the regents explored the possibility of the Big Ten taking Cal and adding additional Pac-12 schools -- Stanford, Washington and Oregon. "We certainly put some pressure on to see if we could,'' he said. "In the end, the expansion was not going to be on the table for us...."’’ This verifies that the Big 10 is not going to 20 now. Cal has no shot at this point in time. Now it still doesn't say that UW and Oregon aren't going to the Big 10.
  9. Actual document says $2 to $5 million. Not clear if there was a change at the meeting to up the max to $10 million.
  10. He's not going to get fired. We're just laughing at him for a stupid screwup.
  11. Are you trying to prove your own point? Words are hard!
  12. Didn't women's sports go down the tube when she took over and not pick back up until CDC started making all the decisions?
  13. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/pac-12-media-rights-deal-on-hold-as-league-awaits-resolution-on-uclas-big-ten-status-from-regents-meeting/amp/ Pessimistic article on Pac rights. ""...It's a demonstrated fact that, when you go from traditional TV to streaming exclusive, you're going to take a little bit of a haircut," Fox executive vice president Mike Mulvihill told the SBJ audience last week. "The people on the conference side and the league side who control these rights have to weigh that revenue opportunity that might exist with a streamer against the loss in average viewership." CBS Sports already has reported on the implications now that the Pac-12 is last in line among the Power Five conferences to land a media rights deal in this cycle. It will be more about who will see those Pac-12 games beginning in 2024. One industry source expressed concern over the "depressed" digital market. That may be reference to reports of Amazon and Google laying off tens of thousands of employees in the coming months.... Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark reiterated at SBJ that his conference is interested in expansion. That could be the reported pursuit of a basketball-only deal with Gonzaga or continued interested in Pac-12 schools. Yormark has expressed a desire to be in all four time zones to enhance his conference's reach. Either option would satisfy that want."
  14. Wasn't it last year at OU (or was it this year at USC) that Riley had 3 portal players starting in the O-line. And pass rushers, big linemen are always in demand. Pretty much everyone but kickers can get poached. There can be holes anywhere for various reasons, including your depth leaving for more playing time. Of course, UT picked up a Stanford punter this year. Last year Alabama picked up at least 5.https://sports.yahoo.com/alabama-football-transfer-portal-tracker-184924624.html WRs from Georgia and Louisville, OL from Vandy, RB from GT and Cornerback from LSU.
  15. When has that mattered to cancel culture?
  16. I don't think I would use Leach as a role model either, but now is not the time for that discussion.
  17. I don't know. My first thought, or second or third, in hiring someone wouldn't be to investigate their significant other.
  18. The bitemark on the forearm is not just weird as an aggressor, its just weird. If she was on top strangling him, he wouldn't be able to get his mouth on her forearm. He would only be able to do that when he freed himself.
  19. Actually you get the same whether we leave or go. We probably don't get a share in the last year. And you get your exit fee quicker.
  20. People sometimes use the N word when not referring to Black people. Its a derisive slang term. The way he used it he would not be referring to Black people, but he would be insulting them. Its in his vocabulary as an insult.
  21. I'm old and it was a bad term rarely used when I was a kid.
  22. The j word was bad before the n word was bad.
  23. aggy moved to the SEC, but they still couldn't get away from looking up at Leach's teams. Conference records during the last 10 years of the mathematically correct Big 12-Tech's results mostly due to Leach (over the whole 15 years, Tech was 4th despite having to play UT and OU every year): Oklahom 65 15 Texas 63 17 Texas Tech 47 33 Nebraska 47 33 Missouri 42 38 Oklahoma State 41 39 Colorado 38 42 Texas A&M 37 43 Kansas State 35 45 Kansas 25 55 Iowa State 25 55 Baylor 15 65
  24. Was looking today. Nothing more on 2024 Texit and Sexit. Just a lot of articles quoting Brett McMurphy.
  25. I have never heard the term bug a boos. We need equality. If a white person would be fired for it, so should RGIII.
