  1. If you are talking about the 2nd one, nobody touched the punter. They completely missed him and he had room to land. He just faked a flop.
  2. He needs to get up some speed to break tackles. He's not a power runner like RoJo. When he gets hit behind the line of scrimmage, he usually goes down. Once he gets past, he's more difficult to bring down.
  3. https://www.espn.com/college-football/stats/player/_/table/passing/sort/QBRating/dir/desc Before tonight Ewers was 56 of 120 rated QBs. Casey Thompson was #44.
  4. IF we had a decent QB and a decent coach tonight. But we didn't.
  5. We do have 3 good receivers. Quinn just refuses to throw to Sanders (or Sark won't have him in the progression).
  6. Worthy is wide open half the time. Not as much tonight, but Worthy would be a candidate for Heisman if he were playing with Bryce Young.
  7. And Ewers was not the answer tonight. Ewers may be better than Card most of the time, but Case McCoy was vastly better than Ewers tonight. Dabo replaced his starter for part of one game and that guy brought them back to win. Went back to the starter the next game. Saban put in his reserve to win an MNC vs. Georgia. Sark is just stubborn--and he ain't the answer.
  8. So does that mean that Sark is dumber than the dumbest poster on Surly?
  9. A, D, and Ewers shit the bed. I don't know why Sark can't understand that sometimes guys have bad days and you need to replace them. Don't know why the Big 12 can't understand that about their refs.
  10. BTW, what was the guy saying about TCU cheerleader. It was ALL of them. Cheerleaders!
  11. Ewers and Worthy were flat out awful. Ewers couldn't even hold onto the ball in critical situations. Just drops it. O line got whipped, but we had the plays if we had a QB half as good as Case McCoy. And when nothing was working we should have put in the QB who wasn't afraid to run.
  12. Guess they won't call holding or PI on TCU tonight. That one was pretty flagrant. We should be still alive.
  13. Well the defense has performed very well. We know there is talent on offense and that it CAN perform. I would say its one of the more frustrating, but not demoralizing.
  14. Defense finally giving up.
  15. Worthy and Ewers are sorry tonight. So is O line run blocking.
  16. Doesn't see Bijan uncovered in end zone 15 yds behind defense. Throws short to Whittington who is open in the end zone. And then has an uncovered receiver at the 5, probably for a TD, and throws into coverage.
  17. Once again guy wide open and Ewers just sees the guy with 4 defenders on him.
  18. How can Card be any worse? Ewers is having a bad night and needs to sit down.
  19. Well you can't review roughing, only if the ball is tipped.
  20. How is it roughing the punter when you don't even touch the guy?
  21. Some wishful thinking there: "...We do not believe the formation of a Big Ten western division is imminent, for three reasons: — Big Ten presidents don’t have the appetite to destroy the Pac-12. — Big Ten media partners don’t have enough cash available to support four more schools. — Remaining West Coast options don’t carry media valuations (as a collective) that make them accretive for the Big Ten...." Big 10 has already destroyed the Pac 12 and taking Nebraska sealed the eventual fate of the Big 12 forcing the haves to leave. Big 10 media partners have all the cash they need. So do Amazon and ESPN who aren't part. The last might be an issue. But the small difference wouldn't stop a 2 team addition if the Big 10 wanted it strategically.
  22. The Athletic and Jon Wilner said it isn't true, at least not nearly that quick. Pac wants to get their deal done first.
  23. Typically, Georgia is not real loud. Maybe because it has an open end. But Saturday was different. That was the loudest I have ever heard it there. And it kept getting louder. They recorded over 130 decibels which someone said was the loudest recorded in a football stadium. Prior to that I had never heard an Athens game anywhere near as loud as that 1995 Texas Tech game (Brackens hit on the punter), and I wasn't at the 90 UH and 98 aggy games which were really loud.
  24. Of course, Ringo was also the guy who ran the INT back against Alabama to seal the MNC last year.
  25. Hey guys. We held onto a double digit lead instead of falling apart as we did vs. Alabama, Texas Tech and Oklahoma St.. This was a good win.
