  1. The alarm, while the right thing to do, will change nothing right now or anytime soon. The alarm should have been his election in 2016, not that he got his old grift back 8 years later and has now got a whole cadre of racist morons and grifters joining him for the sequel.
  2. Anything he creates that involves money is being created to benefit him monetarily. The name he gives it or whatever he says it does is irrelevant. It’s a grift and this is easily recognizable to anyone not in the death cult. To the death cult though this sounds like a brilliant idea from their god king.
  3. The law no longer matters. It only matters insomuch as when the orange god king says it matters. Outside of that it’s all just words on paper, much like our Constitution at the moment.
  4. AD would’ve been good enough to keep it within 35 at the half.
  5. I just listened to Harrison talk for five minutes. He spent the better part of a month trying to trade Luka to LA. He also does not sound like someone who should be a shift manager at McDonald’s, much less a General Manager of an NBA team not based in Charlotte.
  6. The Lakers need to acquire a center. Robert Williams would make sense with Doncic as his PG. My best guess is they get him.
  7. @Sbbruin is enjoying a nice vacation right now. I would imagine if he had heard about this trade on the ski slopes that he probably would have hit a tree. One of my two best friends lives in Dallas and is a Lakers fan. He almost drove off the road when his wife told him what happened. My other best friend is a life-long Mavs fan. I am a few hours behind him and he was asleep. I told him to check the texts I sent him when I finally got a hold of him. He looked at them and said “well glad that the Mavs decided to start over again. I’m going back to sleep and pretending this trade didn’t happen when I wake up.”
  8. I am still just completely shocked at this trade. I am obviously in the minority here in being happy with it. This is just stupefying in how Dallas saw this as the trade to make without even inquiring any thoughts or proposals from other GM’s around the league first.
  9. He was Woj’s protege once upon a time. He also has no mastery or understanding of how to type in English that makes any sense. The writers on the website Defector occasionally write about his humorously bad tweets that are just word salad. Somehow he is still the guy everyone gives info to first.
  10. I remember almost driving off the road living in Dallas when I heard the Pau Gasol trade. I would’ve driven my truck into a ditch if I heard this from the shock. I mean my guys have a history of fleecing teams, but this is beyond stunning. This is stealing a guy not even in his prime for a guy who may or may not be healthy at any given time. Incredible how this transpired.
  11. Bootlickers. Remember these people and organizations. One day all of this will crumble, but the record of who helped push this horrific agenda will still be there. I am absolutely certain of that. How long it takes to get to that point I don’t know, but these idiots will eventually pass into the dustbin of history just like Hitler, Tojo and Mussolini did. This stuff right now is right out of fascist Italy and yes it will get worse, but this will not last forever.
  12. I wish you had a shovel and a penchant for serving up some FAFO justice. These people are actively destroying the country with their decisions. Basing it on a short-term monetary gain, one that will inevitably hurt people who need that assistance through various government programs, will no longer have that available to them. Meanwhile the tax cut folks will get a bigger truck and a longer vacation while the poor in America that did not vote for this idiot suffer the consequences.
  13. Good. It’s incredible what we are now witnessing. The inevitable fall of all of this is going to be catastrophic for millions and I just no longer care about what happens to them.
  14. No, but thanks for that.
  15. People in my hometown apparently used the Facebook page that people there use to keep up with local news, lost dogs, help with stuff, etc. as a place to remind locals they can anonymously call ICE and get people around them deported. Some of the people agreeing with this are people I went to school with for 12 years and knew well. Screw them and I wish the worst upon them every moment for the rest of their lives. This is where we are at now. If you have a family member or friend doing this either castigate them for it or completely cut them off from your life. When I saw that some of the people were Hispanic it was just a moment where I knew that everything I grew up thinking or knowing is just gone. Not quite as big as a “railroad”, but we’re getting there.
  16. Remember to congratulate your idiot neighbor or family member that voted for this. There’s 77 million plus of them out there so no shortage on who to thank for this.
  17. Narcissist gonna narcissist. My God the celebrations around the world that will spontaneously break out the day this moron keeps over will be the most anyone will have celebrated anything he did in his entire worthless life.
  18. We elected the village idiot couch sexer as VP. Good job ‘Merica! Can’t wait for the complete re-write of history on that one.
  19. A new co-worker I have out here came up and introduced himself on my first day. We were talking and I am telling him why I moved out here and that it wasn’t necessarily to live on an island. Once I mentioned World War II he relates to me how he is not a big fan of Patton or Monty and whatnot as he is talking to me about Europe while also talking about the old pillboxes around the island here you can hike to. The reason he was talking about Europe and that Patton got too much credit was because his great-great uncle is Anthony “Nuts” McAuliffe. We are the same age and you can 100 percent tell that he’s a McAuliffe and not just because it’s his last name. At a certain point in life I chalked up all of these seemingly random meetings with folks as not being random anymore, this one included. We talked about Bastogne for a bit and that he is the first generation in the McAuliffe family to not join the military. I had another visit with someone two weeks back whose uncle was among the Army Rangers at Anzio which is a an entirely different American war experience altogether.
  20. ‘Merica, that’s what.
  21. Absolutely this right here. A coward in the Oval Office is busy firing off tweets blaming DEI or whatever he feels like having a grievance against today and our media just nods and takes notes. Pete and folks like him are going to have to do the heavy lifting. He is what a president should sound and act like. I guess now it can be said that not only did the votes of 77 million plus people have consequences, but that one of them likely contributed to the deaths of a few dozen Americans.
  22. We’re getting snow! Okay so only the tops of the peaks are, but I have always found this to be pretty cool, even if it’s not a rare event. Mostly it’s just something we were never taught to associate Hawai’i with when you learn about it growing up elsewhere. https://weather.com/forecast/regional/news/2025-01-29-hawaii-rain-snow-storms-flood-forecast
  23. Real shame. Perhaps you will go and join her you imbecilic, half-witted, penis shaped head having moron.
  24. I think again these things come back to what are you willing to live with. If you are willing to take what’s coming and feel that financially you won’t be affected then stick it out and wait for however many years until this ends. If you have a young family you are probably just going to have to eat this sandwich and hope for the best. If you are older and are not in that situation you might should have been/still looking now for places to go. At this point I would even put into play using the Free Association Agreements and look at countries like Micronesia or The Marshall Islands as places to live at that Americans can go to. Will you be living at the level you do in America right now? Of course not, but it comes back to you have one life and spending it dealing with a government hellbent on making life exceptionally difficult for the part that is an “enemy” isn’t going to be a good time. Most of my reason for leaving and heading away had almost nothing to do with this, but I have a buffer at least between the mainland now and the nut jobs.
