  1. Oh for sure. It is one of the better coaching jobs anyone has done in a good long while considering the talent discrepancy. I paid scant attention back in August. I figured that maybe being in the Big XII would equal a bowl game if everything went really well. I like that this job is Dillingham’s dream job. He obviously is putting in not just work, but the positivity he exudes seems to translate really well to how his players respond to him. Sometimes coaches and schools just match at the right time. I think he could have a Gary Patterson type of career with some higher highs if he can build a better defense and bring in more talented players over the next 3-4 seasons.
  2. That loss was for sure a big one. Taking away the receiver that was the best from a young QB will probably lead to some predictable results against a team that’s far and away the best ASU will have seen this year. This will be a good learning experience I think in how to deal with adversity early and often against a supremely superior opponent in the Horns.
  3. I went shopping earlier and saw this. Seeing this in a prominent display in any store would have been unthinkable before Clark became the face of the WNBA.
  4. That is a beautiful way to live life. I live by a really similar saying I made to give my own life a positive direction. I’ll never achieve even a modicum of what President Carter did though. His lifetime of giving to others is just amazing to me. He is the best of us.
  5. Anytime I hear someone say all Americans are selfish and don’t care about others I can point to President Carter’s life. He is one of the kindest and most compassionate people we have ever had. He is the best of what America can be. The man’s legacy of giving to others is unparalleled and has no equal. If you asked me to have a Mount Rushmore of politicians who did for others first instead of themselves President Carter and the late congressman John Lewis would be the first two on it. What a loss today is for America, but I am so glad he can now rest. We will never see the likes of him residing in the Oval Office ever again. Just an incredible human being that words just cannot fully do justice for.
  6. Very pronounced, but it’s cool. UT wins easily and I can still pull for them to finish the deal. It will be fun to see the aggy implosion with the Horns winning it all in their first year in the big boy conference. Aggy will keep on doing humorous aggy things on and off the field that never results in anything outside of mediocrity.
  7. I would have James Harden do an infomercial on the social life of athletes at ASU. Maybe even just make him the school’s minister of culture and have him show the new recruits how to get even more women with all that NIL money. Perhaps he could even get the basketball team a few Big XII caliber basketball players and a real basketball coach.
  8. Small up front, but this season is the result of a cohesive offensive line, a fun back with an excellent name, a young QB playing well and a head coach that is quickly ascending to being one of the elite coaches in the college game at age 34. None of that means a whole lot as the season ends on January 1st. Considering this was supposed to be a year of being a bottom feeder I think this has been more than a sufficiently excellent season. Perhaps some of the longer tenured ASU folks can speak more to that since football mostly has done a whole lot of nothing for a long time. Where ASU has an advantage over every program in the Big XII is location combined with hopefully a willingness to spend going forward. The next thing Coach Dillingham should do is get in some bigger guys upfront. Go put a sign up in American Samoa advertising free cars or whatever for recruits. Just get some big fellas up front on defense. I trust him to make some really good decisions.
  9. I pass a Tesla store every day. All I can do is laugh when I see what is in there being advertised. The brand will be a complete dumpster fire in short order.
  10. Narcissism is a heckuva drug.
  11. Suffolk County is where all the worst of New York goes to live. I worked out there before and I was glad when I was done.
  12. This is who he has always been. I suspect that if someone did an unauthorized biography of his life you would find stories like this stretching the entirety of it. It’s just magnified now due to his obscene wealth and negative impact upon society.
  13. Sir if you’re trying to tell me that an Afrikaner supports racist politicians, well, I’m just going to have to believe you. If the United States wants to ban anyone then start with white South Africans. They are lucky Nelson Mandela was a man of peace who attempted to bro g unity to South Africa even though he would’ve been well within his rights to exile every single Afrikaner. Had that been a madman like Idi Amin he’d have murdered every single white person in the country.
  14. Don’t worry Panama. If this idiot’s history is any indication he’ll be onto his next distraction point within 48 hours. You and Greenland are safe, for now.
  15. Dillingham is a fantastic coach. He really worked wonders this season to win the conference. You listen to him talk and you can see why his players enjoy playing for him so much. I stated this a few weeks ago, but there is no reason ASU should not be in the conference championship game on a regular basis. It’s one of the few schools in the conference in a major metro area. If they are willing to spend money on players it should not be an issue being good year after year in the Big 12.
  16. Boy howdy this will be a fun week and a half. My best friend thinks this is pretty funny and honestly so do I.
  17. Gonna have to go play some Tony LaRussa Baseball now on the emulator in honor of Rickey. Man that guy was one of the greatest athletes in American sports history. I vividly remember watching the A’s as a child with Rickey leading the way for them. So much talent on that 89 team, but he was still the best of them all. RIP Rickey.
  18. This is ‘Merica now! It’s just sad that we as a collective have become the things we have always said we are not. Everything that the men and women who built America into what it became post World War II is now dissolving. I am glad that almost all of them have passed on and do not have to witness the abject selfishness on display from sea to shining sea.We are far from being the only country with this issue, but we insist on being the loudest and proudest about it.
  19. Heck yeah! Score one for ‘Merica! Could Herschel point out The Bahamas on a map if he was asked to because that would be my first question for him. The ensuing laughs of him probably pointing at Australia would be worth that. No way he could do this on his own. He has roughly the same level of intelligence as a child in elementary school, if that.
  20. The keys to this country have been handed over to an apartheid-era South African. Boy is the fun about to begin on Inauguration Day in January.
  21. This guy right here is REALLY going to break some brains when they see what color he is.
  22. I believe this to be true with many heavy drinkers. Looking back I was always conscientious of the fact I drank heavily. I was like a train that went off the rails, but could not stop the routine until my personal life hit rock bottom. I thank God regularly that my ex broke up with me in January of 2020 or I probably would not still be here. She didn’t deserve a functional alcoholic and her having enough and kicking me to the curb got me to stop a week later. Never missed it even once since then.
  23. I gotta say I was impressed with the job he and his staff did this year. That loss to Nebraska could have sent them down a rough path, but they rebounded and did really well considering they have been moribund for so long. Next year should be interesting to see how they adjust without his son at QB and Hunter.
  24. This dig, well, it’s uhh quite the dig.
  25. Well if you’re Elon Musk they seem pretty good, which is not going to be good for millions of people he wants to inflict some pain on because he just views everything as a transaction like his president friend.
