  1. I mean that’s okay if the price goes up. It’s quality TV and honestly I thoroughly enjoy watching shows on there. I know this is middle-aged man yelling at clouds, but PBS content is easily the most educational and useful of any streaming service. Kids and adults can learn a ton about the world around them watching it.
  2. What will happen with the PBS Masterpiece Streaming app? It is one of the three streaming services I pay for along with Acorn TV and Britbox. Just an absolute wealth of shows on the PBS streaming for people of all ages. I’d hate to see it go as well because TFG and his bald-headed clown of a propagandist just want it gone.
  3. If there is one person who deserves a face full of shovel repeatedly for the rest of eternity it’s him. We don’t have words that adequately describe just how horrible of a human being he is.
  4. I also read that Paul Walter Hauser will be doing an AMA. It was supposed to be tomorrow, but it looks like he’ll do it next week. He made me laugh out loud several times last night.
  5. Got it last night on my way out of the movie.
  6. I agree. Keep living your best life. I think there is some jealousy involved, but keep posting about your trips. I even like the restaurant and show recs you tell folks here about. I have a ton of respect for you and I am glad you are doing so well.
  7. The scene with the dog and Pamela Anderson had me crying laughing. Juvenile humor at its best. This movie was cool. Younger people will not get this style of humor though. Obviously he’s no Leslie Nielsen, but Liam Neeson was fun. Brought back cool memories from childhood watching the original movies. Even got a nice cameo thrown in. I’d watch it again.
  8. You see something like that and it makes me feel okay to have negged all of Rex’s posts on his newest banned name. What kinda unhinged human being says these things? He’s either drunk, a really angry person or both.
  9. My first thought on reading “Gehenna” was when I played World of Warcraft years ago and the first big dungeon has a boss called Gehennas that throws fire all over the place. Seems appropriate to use that in describing this diner. https://www.wowhead.com/classic/npc=12259/gehennas
  10. Well Sophie get ready for some accidental elbows from almost everyone you play against going forward. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out several of the people she is talking about. I like it that she breaks it down and flatly tells them they are morons for their opinions and takes.
  11. I went to see the movie Together tonight. Normally I wouldn’t put this here, but we currently are being run by The Dumbest Generation. Go look the movie up. Somebody in that cult is going to think the movie is based on a true story and say that millions of Americans have had this happen to them. John Stockton’s broke brain would be the type of person I’d expect to think that movie is based on a true story. Someone should get TFG to post about on his grifting app. “Many people are saying it’s happening. Greatest scandal in world history! Obama and Biden started this with Hillary’s help and money from Soros!” Also, for those interested, you get to see Alison Brie naked.
  12. People were so calm. I walked the three miles or so from Pearl Ridge over to the Wal-Mart (only place open to pick up a few things) before getting an Uber back home as the bus system was not up and running again yet. Honest to God if this was out on Long Island I feel like some Italian guys would’ve done something dumb in this situation. Were it Texas and the Gulf of Mexico I think someone may have yelled out “Hold my Lone Star!” and done something even dumber.
  13. So far, so good. The early warning and preparedness of Hawaiians for stuff like this is impressive. When I say it is genuinely cool to see residents of a state trust and listen to the government on things like this it is legitimately refreshing. More states could stand to be this organized and working as a team to help its citizens.
  14. Thank you my man. Yes I could go for a nice 12 pack of Diet Coke right about now @Orale
  15. That shopping center/mall on Pearl Ridge. It‘s more than high enough to be a really safe distance from things. I go over to that area on a regular basis.
  16. Traffic near Pearl Harbor has thinned out. I think by seven I should be up on the ridge. Best two posts in here. I’m still laughing.
  17. Absolutely. Things are just things. You don’t get a 2nd chance with destructive forces of nature like this. We passed by where I live just now. I’m on the 3rd floor there (really four with an upstairs), but I’m staying on the bus to get higher. With Schofield helping to get people higher I think we should be okay.
  18. Glad you got up there. Traffic is still dense here. I feel like I am high up enough right now, but again a wave can do immense damage as you well know. After reading the book The Wave several years ago I will never take the amazing Pacific ocean that I love, lightly.
  19. Judging by how fast this bus is going in this traffic I could probably just walk up to The Punchbowl instead, but we’ll see if it starts to thin out well before the first wave hits.
  20. The low lying grocery stores are being told to empty. People still walked in like it’s no big deal. This is the Target attached to Ala Moana. I was down there today at B&N reading amd whatnot. Seeing people not have an appropriate fear for Mother Nature and the power of water is frustrating at best. I at least got on the A bus before it filled as O know it empties up on Pearl Ridge. Some of these people need to just walk north at the very least to higher ground.
  21. Good to see you two check-in. I am going up to higher ground at Pearl Ridge. I live down near the old Dole Cannery and I see how it gets there just for heavy storms, much less this.
  22. These people not getting out of the water on Waikiki are nuts.
  23. Something told me not to head to the beach today on the North Shore. It’s what I usually do on a day off.
  24. Had two warnings in the last hour for a possible/probable tsunami that would hit Hanalei over on Kauai around 7:10 HST.
