5 years in the slammer for Sarkozy
I kinda feel like when someone tells me what they want to do that I might should believe them. We crossed the rubicon into fascism this year. That much is clear. Even though this is still more reminiscent of 1920's Italy, but fascism all the same. Will it end disastrously and fail? You better believe it will, but fascists do not have the ability to hold their movement together. The issue is that by the time it fails it will either have possibly cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of citizens in the United States or it will have even more far-reaching effects around the globe. That's really the only suspense left.

Yep we got a full blown "Do your research" person here. Columbus was a great Jewish guy. So Jewish even Jesus is amazed by him. There Columbus was just spreading joy amongst the natives and trying to convert them to Judaism and he gets unfairly blamed for their demise.

You see Columbus was a Jew. Many people don’t know that. The space laser program started with him. He crossed the ocean and people feinted at his appearance and never woke up from being so starstruck by him. He had great ratings. The best ratings. Ratings so high among these people you wouldn’t believe it.

One Battle After Another, the next Paul Thomas Anderson film
Oh my gosh watching him run around like that was both hilarious and brilliant at the same time. Definitely costume-worthy. Shocking stuff here.

Film Watchers
I’ll be honest and say I do not watch the NFL anymore. However that guy was cool to listen to and he gives a simple and easy explanation of what is transpiring on each play. Thanks for sharing.

U.S. Beef Industry in absolute crisis
How does it compare to a bear on coke?

What is it with other countries like France and Brazil having a legal system that isn’t letting politicians walk on major charges like this? I wonder what it’s like living in a place where the rule of law actually means something.

McDonald’s
I stopped in the morning at McDonald's in Tahiti a couple of years back. They made a pretty good latte and the people were super friendly. Families would go to eat in there and they were all so quiet and happy. Totally different experience, but it was just cool getting a latte I guess from them.

What impact will Trump have on the 2026 World Cup?
If you ever want to find out if you're talking to a cult member or not just say that you used to live in NY, LA, Chicago or any city that TFG and Fox News say is against him. Really easy way to cut off having to talk just by the reaction of "Oh you actually lived there?"

One Battle After Another, the next Paul Thomas Anderson film
Plenty of comedy. Leo's character was all over the place, but it made sense why.

One Battle After Another, the next Paul Thomas Anderson film
This was a masterpiece of a movie with some great cinematography. Col. Lockjaw brought the lulz every time he started walking. Nailed America in 2025 to a T.

The children are gone
Looking through a couple of his posts shows he played somewhere in the 72-76 range.

The children are gone
We need to find out who this guy is. He’s Jewish and played for UT in the 70’s. Looking at the team photos from then singles out a few people. Sure would be nice to let Durant and the other guys know how much vitriol he has for them.

The children are gone
I gotta tell ya the adults are really starting to worry me. Feel like maybe the children should be back in control of things.

I'm An Alcoholic
I work with a young fella really going through it. I told him when he got off work today that he was welcome to meet me at Waimanalo Beach to fish. He went and bought a rod and made it there. I sat and listened to him for 3 hours or so. Listening is more helpful than lecturing. I told him I don’t look down on him because I have been in his shoes with alcohol. I guess this morning he also found out his girlfriend had an abortion I believe. He dealt with the day by drinking and being a bottle of vodka to the beach. I did not judge him for drinking I just told him to put the bottle away. I didn’t ask him to pour it out because, and he said this before I did, that he’d just buy another bottle tonight. This is an exceptionally intelligent young guy. Alcohol, and to an extent Adderall and apparently cocaine, are issues. Mostly alcohol though. His parents no longer talk to him, but I did tell him to reach out to them because he is missing so much of his support system. Last thing I said is I am his friend and that anytime he needs to talk or vent about life or share details about it that he can. I do this with everyone I meet in life that is going through it. I hope for the best for him and that he can beat his demons. He has such a tormented soul and does not like himself.

Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Armenia move over Algeria and Morocco join the chat
At the rate that this clown makes proclamations that don’t hold up, if he says Ethiopia and Eritrea are great neighbors again I would expect to see them lobbing shells at each other within a day solely because TFG is a moron.

This is a man. He's over 40. He's a man.
I saw Eric Morris play basketball at the state tournament for Shallowater years ago. His dad was his coach if I remember right.

It’s Time for Organized Resistance
It’s never too late in life to pursue what you like. I would gander that my situation in life is decidedly different than yours, but think about pursuing what you thoroughly enjoy and love to do. You get one shot at life so do as much as you can while you can before you can’t. I feel like I stumble head-first into most things I enjoy, but the adventure of it keeps me going forward.

So let’s say Gameday adds him. How long before McAfee shows up wearing a shirt with “I’m a man, I’m 40!” on the set?

It’s Time for Organized Resistance
I veer far from fiction, but the account in The Plague kept my attention. I think it helps having an English professor that goes in-depth on each book. You can tell who the English majors are in this course though. I learn from them as well which is cool aspect of a crossover class like this.

It’s Time for Organized Resistance
Both wars have cool literature, but my own personal preference veers towards non-fiction when I read. I do not enjoy fictional stories even if they are based on actual events. That said I appreciate that people will write fictional stories based on each war for people who enjoy it. I am certain there are plenty of authors that produced exceptional work based on the 2nd World War. Saying one is far beyond the other literature-wise is just an opinion because none of us here, or anywhere else in the world for that matter, has read more than a tiny fraction of the books written worldwide about either conflict.

The Leopards Eating Faces and Unlubed Dildo of Consequences Thread
I’m good with them continuing to find out into perpetuity. Every single person in that state that voted for TFG should feel a financial burden that completely breaks them.

OAN might be more his speed. Get an FCS Game of the week on that channel and let him do his thing.

I am going to use it to do some work as an historian in a South Pacific country.

Brazil
I think they'll hold it together and Bolsonaro will die in prison. Democracy is messy, but there are millions and millions of people there that want democracy and are willing to go to bat for it in a way we are not here.
