  1. I’m glad you finally decided to just stop. Good for you.
  2. You asked me to provide examples. The Jokic thread has it and your well documented on-going thing with Barnes is pretty well-known as you know. Do you just not recall any of this? If that’s the case it would make more sense how you react.
  3. Rick Barnes Nikola Jokic…Even Jokic would’ve told you to just let things go about an MVP he cares nothing about. I’m not certain you understand what losing your mind looks like. You can feel free to pull up my response again when I told you about not using the r word. If this is how you are going to approach returning here after a brief respite then I am not sure this will end any other way for you than it has before. @Patricio Swayze is trying to be sincere in saying that this board is not good for you mentally. You’re an adult though so you have to make your own decisions.
  4. I read stuff like this and I think to myself about how insanely brainwashed you have to be to believe that. Millions of these rubes littered from coast-to-coast really believe this. I almost wish Biden would just come out and say I’m handing everyone’s SSI checks that believe this to a deserving undocumented migrant instead.
  5. I don’t know if any of you enjoy comedy shows, but last week I went to the New York Comedy Club on 24th Street and I had a really enjoyable time. A comic I have known for a long time, but never got to meet up with, was hosting. She’s pretty funny to me and the lineup they had made me laugh a good bit. There is another in the East Village, but I went to the midtown location. https://newyorkcomedyclub.com
  6. I got some good laughs out of you calling out our crypto salesman in that thread. When GR wasn’t busy parroting Russian talking points he was trying to bill people on this website out of their actual money by getting them to purchase money that did not exist.
  7. They won’t and it is in large part because they know they can push past boundaries and nothing happens. Their ruling party has this grand idea that they are a nation of destiny that will one day be the preeminent superpower in the world. You cannot and should not put trust in anyone that thinks like that.
  8. And the source quoting that bloated wind bag? I’m guessing it is three-time Olympic volleyball gold medalist George Santos.
  9. What a country we live in. This woman is so painfully unintelligent. That people voted for her overwhelmingly in her district means there are people even less intelligent than she is. Take the entire GQP, politicians and those that vote for them, and resettle them permanently in the coldest and most barren reaches of Mongolia.
  10. I would agree. Basketball is definitely his thing and I’m glad he has something positive to latch onto. If he can perhaps find a way to not take a differing opinion or criticism personally I think he’ll be fine. It’s when he goes overboard about a player or coach that things go sideways with folks. Just be confident in your beliefs and if someone else thinks differently so be it. It’s a big world and none of us think exactly the same.
  11. As best I understand this is true and it is illegal. Some states are screwy though on what they allow.
  12. If a place does not inform you that you will automatically pay 20 percent I would never go back AND I would also demand that gratuity be removed. If you know going in that a certain size group is 20 percent and you are okay with it then cool. If you aren’t even told that is just straight up stealing from your guests.
  13. Leave your server cash if at all possible and also if possible just give it directly to them. I have had issues before with bussers counting all the cash tips thinking that I am going to give them an exact amount of it. If you are not helping and I am bussing my own table I am going to claim less cash than normal because of the lack of help. Just trust me when I say it is best to hand that server the cash tip and not let any of there support staff see it. It will just cause headaches and arguments. I have been very frank with the support staff before at places I have worked and told them to figure it out or get a new job. I also will always be the first to thank them for doing their job really well and many times recommend them to the GM to become a server or bartender when I see they are capable of it and have the personality for it.
  14. I did not back away from anything I have said. I think hating opposing coaches is strange just because of who they coach. I have also not backed away from thinking it is weird to be actively following teens on Twitter to follow what college they play football at. You are a grown man actively spending hours upon hours of your life following teen gossip while likely being drunk for a good chunk of that time. Continue on though with all that completely normal adult behavior. Good luck to you.
  15. What happened with this movie is that the Osage sat down with Scorsese and his crew and told them this was THEIR STORY and they wanted it portrayed true-to-life. They did this before the pandemic I believe. Scorsese did that and remained true to the story. You knew the score going in and the Osage wanted everyone to see what happened to them, but also that they had persevered through these atrocities. We get so many movies where dramatics are added because people want there to be these shock endings and what not. We were told about an awful time in American history, but what I will remember of this is that the people who perpetrated these heinous acts at least were brought to justice. They should’ve hanged for what they did, but just getting white men put away during this time in history was big. Mollie’s character in particular dealt with trauma that could’ve broke most anyone, but what a woman to go through that horror. So sad that her life was still cut so painfully short. It’s fine that you didn’t enjoy it. At least you gave actual reasons so thank you.
  16. Perhaps you could give me some insight to it because I do find it all really strange. The people who make a career of it as well as those who follow it seemingly 24/7. I feel like there are better and more constructive ways to find enjoyment in life.
  17. I honestly feel sad for you. Not in a pity kind of way either. Just sad that this is what you do with your life. Hatred towards coaches and following teens on Twitter. One shot at life and this is how you live it.
  18. I just don’t care. I do not look to a football coach as a paragon of virtue. Not a single one of them. Pick a coach from any school and they’ll have done or said something not cool. That any of you waste even a minute of your time flinging hatred at someone over football is just confounding to me. Then again I also do not understand grown men following the tweets of 15-18 year olds either. That is absolutely just strange behavior.
  19. Oh my gosh what a horrible person for having coached OU. And oh man I’m sure someone has a story about something g he did that they didn’t like. That makes him a human being. No more, no less. The obsession of calling a football coach a horrible person because they didn’t coach your team is just something I will never understand or want to for that matter.
  20. He is one of the best young actors going right now, if not the best in my opinion. He can do pretty much any role no matter how different it might be from something else he has done.
  21. I went to grade school 1-12 with a guy who settled in Abernathy with his family. I believe he still live there. I also once went on a job interview here in Manhattan about six years ago and the GM asks me where I am from and I tell him. He says “Oh I’m from Texas as well. A small town near Lubbock.” I have this mostly useless ability to recall towns and mascots so I ask what town. He says Abernathy. I said “Oh the Antelopes. They used to be really good at basketball.” He looks at me shocked when I know where his hometown is and that I know about their basketball team’s history. I was offered the job on the spot pretty much because of that usually useless knowledge.
  22. I assumed he would be once UT’s basketball season got close to starting. It feels like it’d be better for him to just go cold turkey with this site, but that’s a decision he has to make.
  23. This one was over pretty quickly. Experience in a game like this definitely paid dividends for Davenport. Their QB puts the ball right where it needs to go and he’s got great command of their offense. Really undersized on defense, but that doesn’t much matter when you are much faster AND your offense can’t stop scoring. Looks like they will play Boerne in the 3rd round if I have the district alignments right. Lampasas may have done well to be on the other half of this bracket.
  24. The only time I listen to politics at work is when the person is from another country and they are explaining how things work where they are from. I find that okay and interesting, especially when a friend at work originally from Niger gave me some fun in-depth stories about how things are back home.
