  1. Yeah, that guy will be lucky to end up top 250. Absolute joke of a list of teams who would actually take him.
  2. Lol wut. He has elite athleticism, he’s a good rebounder and a solid defender and that’s it. He hurts your offense just being on the floor and you can’t have him in late in games because he’s a horrible FT shooter for his size . In what world is he anything more than a role player?
  3. Doubt the #SamplesEffect at your own risk, good sir.
  4. Ferrari with its first upgrades this year, and they changed a ton. They changed the sidepod inlet, added some aero near the halo, new floor, and a new rear wing design. Who knows how much improvement it will bring, but it is a pretty massive package that should have a pretty big jump in performance if it works (insert Ferrari joke here). Also, the floor edges are starting to remind me of the crazy barge boards we saw in the previous regs, which created a ton of dirty air and made it so tough to follow. Red Bull's new floor edge is crazy. I thought the FIA was clamping down on floor edge designs to decrease dirty air, but it seems like they've back off that lately and that's probably part of why it's getting harder for cars to follow.
  5. I didn’t move the goalposts. None of the examples you gave are meaningful data points on his evals. Hutson was terrible as a true freshman, which isn’t his fault. He played because our OL room was shit, but it doesn’t answer much about evals/development. Hutson’s now going into this third year and not slated to start at this point (though he could by Fall if he’s healthy) so he’s still a question mark. Robertson playing part of one game and being serviceable but not good and Agbo averaging one snap per game as a big TE are also not meaningful data points.
  6. You should probably stick to posting month old information on aggy commits. SI is a terrible source to cite and that list is shit. Like I’ve already said, there’s no doubt Flood is great at coaching OL. His evals/development of the guys he recruited is the only open question, and I don’t expect it to be an issue. We just haven’t seen much yet. The only 2 guys who’ve started that he recruited are 5 stars who didn’t take much evaluation skill. One of them was a no doubter from the day he stepped on campus, and the other is still a very flawed OL who needs to continue to develop in order to become an above average or better player.
  7. I never said he’s bad at eval/developing, just that it’s an open question. Your examples of guys being thrown in early due to roster issues or being in a large TE package don’t mean much. His evals/development are still an open question. We’ll get plenty of answers this year and next.
  8. Horn under a bad sign gets all his recruiting news from Orangebloods.
  9. If I had to guess, he’s the 5th or 6th guy in a 6 OL class and the staff believes he’ll be patient and provide depth until he’s ready to play as a 4th or 5th year guy. If we get guys like Fasusi and Lamont Rogers, then this is a good take. If he becomes the 3rd or 4th OL in the class, it would be more of a problem. The other part is Flood is a size queen and seems ok with overlooking certain issues if he thinks the guy can play at 325+. I don’t like all of Flood’s evals, and I think he overrates size. However, he’s also clearly good at coaching the OL. His evals are a bit more of an open question as the only guys he’s recruited that have actually played are 5 stars. We haven’t seen him eval/develop his lower takes yet. Cam Williams will be the first one this fall, and he looked good in the Spring game. But if we can keep landing guys like Banks, Baker, and Fasusi, who have size and all the other traits you’d want, it won’t matter too much.
  10. 23 months ago and 2 full signing classes ago, so super relevant to the current opinion of how he recruited at Texas. This is a weird hill to die on. I haven’t seen a single person say they’re glad Bo left. Only people pointing out that he wasn’t recruiting great by the end at Texas and that trend is continuing at broke ass LSU with him whiffing on getting even a single DT transfer when their DT depth chart is a nightmare.
  11. Lulz. You went back almost 3 years to find posts to try to prove your point. New shit has come to light. Davis did good in 2022 with Bledsoe, Bryant, Ross, and Swanson. Since then, he’s only landed 3 DTs, none of which were consensus 4 stars. And the only DT he landed in 2023 didn’t get developed under his watch, so his second full class was a complete miss.
  12. Yeah, since F1 has this shitty rule where you're allowed to drive the other guy completely off the track if you were slightly ahead at the apex (even if you braked crazy late and never had a chance at actually making the apex), the best way to handle this is gravel right on the edge of the track so drivers work it out on track instead of relying on stewards making shitty, inconsistent decisions race to race.
  13. I mean this just shows you have no clue what you're talking about. Aaron Rodgers completely changed his throwing motion from college to the NFL and that's what made him a HOFer. He wouldn't be anywhere near the same QB without changing his throwing motion. Tom Brady and Drew Brees also made significant changes to their throwing mechanics that propelled them to being all-time greats at QB. None of them would've reached those heights without their mechanical changes. Josh Allen is another example of a guy who changed his mechanics and made a huge stride in his accuracy. Jordan Love spent his three years as a backup overhauling his throwing mechanics and now looks like a perennial Pro Bowler. There are tons of other examples too. Again, Quinn throws the ball from a ton of different arm angles and that's been a huge issue for him because it's led to a ton of inaccuracy, especially with controlling the distance of his deep throws. He became much more consistent with his throwing motion last season. I'm not sure how someone could miss that if they're watching all his games. So your inability to notice changes in mechanics and throwing motions is not the same thing as changes to throwing mechanics never working.
  14. Nah. People have pretty consistently complained about his recruiting, as evidenced by the fact that we've taken 2 portal DTs and DT is still considered a need position. No one's saying we're happy he left, but his recruiting was a weak point at Texas with top-level NIL. Now if he's at LSU with no NIL and a HC who's one of the worst recruiting HCs in the country, it could be a real problem for LSU moving forward.
  15. So you’re saying he’s the @billfromlaketravis of recruiting reporters?
  16. Exactly. With some hard work and a little bit of luck, they just might make it past the second round of the tournament for the first time in 3 years.
  17. Yeah, that’s a massive upgrade. Good on them. It will be really interesting to see what kind of jump they make, then what kind of response Ferrari will have when they bring their big update in Imola, and then where the two of them end up in relation to RBR. Hopefully they can get close enough to steal some more wins and at least often beat Checo on pure pace. It would be nice to see at least a couple non-RBR wins when Max has a normal weekend. That never happened last year. We almost had it with Leclerc in Vegas, but then the Safety Car came out at the wrong time and it was over.
  18. It’s not like we had good CB play last year. Watts and Brooks were getting burned plenty too. Having a 2nd year Muhammad and Cole as our starters would be a meaningful improvement, and like you admitted, we’ve improved at safety so getting better CB play is more important this year.
  19. lol wut. We’ve never had great talent at CB. Coaching and talent are both issues. If we bring in a better CB than what we currently have, like the San Jose State kid, then our coverage would improve. Plus we need depth at CB. We don’t have much besides the true freshmen, who may or may not be ready to play by the Fall.
  20. Me reacting to the idea that BOW has any fucking clue about the actual level of play of Savea, Norton, or Williams.
  21. Williams also ain’t getting that from OU unless Venables is taking it out of his own salary.
  22. Good Lord. That is butt ass ugly. Way too many colors going on there.
  23. I do enjoy how transparent Ketch being a total fraud is in his writing. Anybody with half a brain cell (or 1 in every 10 OTF posters) could figure out he’s just making up shit and that NIL would not be why we’d lose a DT to OU.
  24. I’ve got just the right person for you. She’ll clean your garage and help you find your next job all in one day. Just look at these before and afters!
