  1. Lol wut. There’s no reason to play Baxter today, but he’s looked like the better runner through two games and Brooks has dropped two TD passes in 2 games. Baxter should absolutely be the starter when healthy.
  2. Stroll continues to be a clown. Piastri’s weekend is now completely ruined.
  3. Yes, you are proving @NoName’s point that you are fucking dumb.
  4. Go look at his last few rounds of coordinator hires compared to the rest of his career and then report back. O’Brien and Rees are two bad to awful hires in a row. Bryce Young saved Saban from the full ineptitude of O’Brien, but Bryce Young’s not walking through that door this year.
  5. Weird post all around. There aren’t many, if any, great Big 12 offenses this year, and you’re not going to play 2 high or Cover 3 against Milroe. PK is known for having safeties deep and preventing big plays, so worrying that he’ll run a one off defense against an elite runner at QB against our entire schedule also doesn’t make much sense.
  6. Our defense looking elite gives me a lot of confidence in games like this. They should be able to handle Wyoming without much trouble, so our offense can get a slow start and we could still win big.
  7. Initial thoughts on @texifornia’s initial thoughts: 2 of his first 4 thoughts on the football game being about the font on the jerseys and fan attendance is extremely on brand.
  8. Someone hasn’t paid any attention to how bad BYU is this year. I agree they drop more than 2 games, but it won’t be BYU. They’re going to be towards the bottom of the conference.
  9. If you’re only looking at talent alone, then sure. But in reality, I doubt it. Nolan and Hicks will be looking for a shitload of money, and they haven’t come close to proving they’re worth it. The money is likely to be spent better elsewhere.
  10. Lulz. Could you imagine the headlines if aggy paid Jimbo a $77 million buyout after he went 9-3 this year, which would be one of their best seasons in the last 20 years? These yokels have no fucking clue what their program actually is, and it makes them so entertaining.
  11. If Duke is half as smart as they think they are, they’ll give Elko a big extension with a massive buyout if he leaves for A&M. aggy will get desperate and fund Duke’s football program for the next decade. I watched a good chunk of that game it was two mediocre teams seeing who could make the bigger mistake. Miami lost 4 starters on defense, including their stud DT and aggy still couldn’t do much on offense. They are just as bad as last year with even worse depth. The school that asks their players if they’re Aggies or Blaggies is going to hire Coach Prime? Riiiiiight.
  12. Tenn falling behind for Wingo is great news for us. The main thing Mizzou has going for them is their new NIL bill, but Wingo is an EE, so it would only get him paid a few months early and that advantage keeps diminishing every day he’s not committed.
  13. I mean this is just a ridiculous statement. They were only there for two years and inherited an offense almost entirely consisting of 1st and 2nd round guys. They were coaching one of the most talented offenses in CFB history. Anyone could have had success with that offensive roster they inherited. Their time at Alabama doesn’t prove they can evaluate, coach and develop.
  14. Good Lord. Our OL couldn’t get push against Rice. Just running the ball is not how we will achieve offensive success against Bama.

Conner, Campbell, and Majors all being graded between 56 and 59 seems about right. They were all god awful. Neto played well in limited action. It would be nice to see him get more of Conner’s snaps and then let Hutson and Campbell keep battling it out for RG.
  16. This is a weird post considering Quinn was carving Bama up without needing to run and Card sucked shit through a straw and was the main reason we lost, but sure we need more of what Card gave us last year.
  17. I’m sure Ewers looks great in practice. He’s scared of pressure and basil out of the pocket before there’s even a rush. He threw that 4th down pass into the ground when JT was wide open and easily going to convert because a free rusher was 3 yards away. Ewers just doesn’t have it mentally. He can’t work through his reads, and he’s not developing and he still plays scared. I think he’ll have some great games this year, like he did against Bama, OU, and UW last year, but he’s too inconsistent to take his team far. I doubt Sark will bench Ewers unless he’s god awful for about 4 games in a row, so all we can do is hope his good games come against teams when we need them, like Bama next week. Ewers would get pushed out even if he didn’t want to leave after this season. No way Sark chooses to lose both Murphy and Manning just for one more year of a guy who plays scared and isn’t developing.
  18. This is such a classic stanco post. Just dead wrong in every way. When projecting how good a team will be the next year, you absolutely have to factor in things like point differential and record in one score games to determine how good they actually were. The good teams win close games lines is utter bullshit. Good teams don’t get caught in a bunch of one score games. Lucky teams win close games and it’s not replicable.
  19. PK is a good coach. His defenses develop year after year. Unlike the other side of the ball for us…
  20. It would be great if he can develop and take over at LG this year, because Conner is awful.
  21. Idk what the fuck he was doing. Just set your feet and throw.
