  1. Yeah, he was also putting too much weight on his back foot on deep throws last year. I was hoping his mechanics would look cleaner, but it doesn’t look like they’ve changed much from last year.
  2. Hahaha poaching starters from UGA is too good. Hopefully we get him. He’s a stud.
  3. Bad mechanics. He drops his elbow too much during his throwing motion, which makes the ball sail on him.
  4. Ewers over-targeting Worthy and not reading the defense very well. Where’s all that offseason progress the 995ers have been pushing?
  5. Having 7 guys who can play is a more than most schools have. That’s plenty and we have some really elite talent in that room.
  6. We’ll see if Terry keeps things the same as they were under Beard, but we pretty always played 4s at the 5 under Beard. Boone is 100% a 5 in our current system. Yeah, I’ll wait to see how it all ends up. If we keep Donewald, land Abmas, Boone and a couple others, then it could be a bright future, but it’s not looking great right now. This was always a possibility with Terry, but the combination of him doing so well and us missing on almost all of our top coaching candidates didn’t leave many other options. You can spin it however you want, but we currently have 2 guys on the roster. Best case scenario is we return 5 players and bring in two freshmen, and I doubt we get all 3 of Mitchell, Hunter, and Disu to return. We need 5-6 transfers. Not going after some of the guys being discussed is probably worse than missing on them.
  7. Add to that Pecco Bagnaia’s inevitable crash and there’s really not going to be much to see in the race.
  8. Yeah, I don’t get it. Scipio was having him on his pod pretty regularly too. Maybe they’re like us and they don’t even read what he writes. I mean the guy’s analysis article on the PK hiring was that BJ Foster was a great fit as a single high safety in PK’s scheme. I don’t know how anyone who even casually follows the program could think that makes even a lick of sense. How do you put that guy out there as the X’s and O’s expert for IT?
  9. I can’t believe you don’t want to hear the takes about who we should target in the portal from the guy who wanted to move RoJo to linebacker and Whittington to safety.
  10. Pretty much this. We were bound to run out of arms at some point during this stretch. Better to split with TXST than use up arms and run our during our in-conference weekend series.
  11. So what I gather from this page is the Football board put its best minds together and came up with Campbell having maturity issues and likely going to portal because he’s not playing in the Spring game . . . because of a wrist injury and despite him running with the ones all spring. Never change, Football board, never change.
  12. The first week? @GreenspointTexas called for Pierce’s firing the very first loss after our 16 game winning streak ended.he is beyond disgusted with 20-3 in our last 23 games and 12th in the country.
  13. You’re not even close. We’re talking about 5-6 portals needed plus the two freshmen. Our current roster is Brock Cunningham and Anamekwe. That’s it. Mitchell. Hunter, and Disu are maybes.
  14. I’m curious to see how many Day 2 picks we get. I think RoJo will go Day 2. Not sure about any others. Maybe a team falls in love with DMO, but he has a ton of bad tape, even last year. I could see a team liking his upside and going higher than 5th or 6th. When Coburn was in shape and locked in (2019 and 2022), he was extremely good and offers some pass rush from the inside.
  15. I can’t remember names, but from what I’ve seen we’re after the UVA big, the UNT guard who was conference player of the year, the USC kid, and the Rice guard. Tenn had the transfer wing that would be a good get, but I don’t know if we’re really after him. I’m sure I’m missing a few, but it seems like the staff wants 1-2 bigs and 2-3 guards/wings.
  16. We’re going to have to bring in 4-5 transfers and maybe more depending on attrition. Not all of them can be stars. If he’s willing to accept his role, then he could be a valuable transfer.
  17. Reddit actually has a decent thread on how to deal with red flags, and I saw a pretty good idea that if a Safety Car turns into a red flag, they should go back to the order of the cars at the time of the safety car. That way stewards have time to decide if a red flag is required, but cars that out under SC before a red flag is determined aren’t completely screwed over like Russell and Sainz last week. This seems like the fairest way to handle red flags instead of just making teams completely guess if a SC will turn into a red flag.
  18. They use the exact same engine as Merc. It’s not an engine issue, it’s an aero issue. Their car is too draggy compared to the others. Their floor is still very basic, so they have more room to develop than probably any other team on the grid.
  19. It sucks that we have to wait four weeks until our next race, but one upside is that probably every team but Haas will bring significant upgrades. If Ferrari or Merc are going to figure out something with their car with what they learned from testing it should get on the car in Baku. Same for Aston, if they are going to develop rapidly this year, we should see the first evidence there. Supposedly RB has a big upgrade planned for Baku, so I guess we could also see the gap grow even more considering how well all their upgrades seem to work.
  20. It’a almost like he got those numbers because he flew into the backfield every snap, never worrying about contain, while the current regime would require him to read and react so he doesn’t kill the whole defense. And guess what, Hager’s terrible at that.
  21. Narrator: They were more fucked than he thought.
  22. You should be nicer to BO&W. You're about to pass him in rep points. It's going to be a very difficult time for him.
