  1. If a 4th year Majors is the weakest link of our OL, then we’ll have one of the best OLs in the country. He was significantly better than Hutson and Conner this year. It’s unlikely we can replace those two and still have someone available who’s better than Majors.
  2. This is a weird response to the idea of having Hutson compete with Majors, which first and foremost replaces one of the guards and only has the secondary benefit of more competition at Center. Everyone knows the Guards are the biggest weakness.
  3. The NAIA playoffs just wrapped up. The fighting Texum aggies are pouring over the film. Rest assured they’ll be poaching the best of the best from the likes of Morningside, Kansas Wesleyan, and Concordia.
  4. There’s no legal right to enforce for them to get into F1. The $200 million buy in is a requirement but doesn’t actually gain them entry. The teams would still have to vote to allow them in. And if they vote no, There’s no legal recourse for Andretti.
  5. He was better against the run early in the year, but he got completely exposed against Baylor and UW. Those might have been his worst games of the season. I’m glad he’s not back for another year. Give the young guys the reps and develop them.
  6. Fuck no. Terry would be a horrible hire as a HC regardless of how this season goes.
  7. Checks out. Hutson and Conner were fucking awful all year. If Jones comes back, you move Campbell and Williams to Guard and let Hutson and Majors fight for Center. Conner can be a swing OL. A plan to get Keilan Robinson plenty of carries is a bad plan. He’s a scat back. I wonder if UW has much in the way of NIL. I could see him following DeBoer to UW if they can give him some money. The big difference is Keilan might have the worst vision I’ve seen in a RB since Trent Richardson was playing for the Colts. That’s a much bigger reason why he can’t run inside than his weight. Blue has the frame to get above 200 without much trouble, and he showed the potential to be an every down back in HS, whereas Keilan has never come close to showing that. He and Keilan are not at all the same.
  8. Absolutely. I’m pretty shocked at what a huge difference his absence has made. Not many basketball coaches affect their teams level of play that much. Beard was absolutely building something special, which makes his decisions that much more fucking stupid. We could make a very good next hire and still suffer a pretty big downgrade at HC. It sucks.
  9. Almost that whole list is schools who had a coach just get fired or a first year coach getting rid of all the dead weight after their first season. And then there’s Jimbo in Year 5 topping the list. You hate to see it.
  10. Oh definitely. They’ve kept a lot of 22 big names, but lost a shit load of depth, they have a weak HS class and haven’t done anything in the portal. All that seems like evidence they’re using all their available funds to keep the 22 big names around while sacrificing every other part of their program.
  11. And Smoke and Williams. Both those guys were top 70 nationally.
  12. You’ve really hit the nail on the head here, just not the nail you were aiming for.
  13. What the fuck? Since when has it ever been reported he was cutting her? Also hilarious to see our resident moron saying Amen to an article treating the police affidavit as fact days after trying to argue no one has ever done that in this entire thread.
  14. Why are you a potato? I said it was both, but it’s a question of how much of the blame is on Sark versus Ewers for over targeting Worthy.
  15. It’s impossible to know without being in the QB room, but I am curious how much of it is Sark calling plays for Worthy versus Ewers just deciding to throw it to Worthy pre-snap. There’s been a lot of plays this year where it looks like Ewers just decided to throw it Worthy regardless of what the defense does or who the play is designed for, especially some of those go routes where it doesn’t look like Worthy is the designed first option, but Ewers throws it to him within 2 seconds without looking at any other receiver.
  16. Nope. It was about middle of the 2nd quarter and he was something like 9/14 for under 100 yards at that point and was not playing well, like he had in most of his recent games. My bigger complaint wasn’t about this game, it was about his lack of progress in this offense this year. But it’s hard to tell how much is on Quinn for decision making and how much is on Sakr for play calling. Credit to him, though. He completely turned it around in the 2nd half and had a great game. Sark making better calls helped a lot too. Sark needs to improve a lot. His play calling was bad this year, and he’s not showing a good understanding of his personnel. Way too many deep shots to Worthy all year, and giving Keilan way more snaps than Brooks in this game was very dumb and a big part of why we lost.
  17. Maybe check the time that was posted. He played way better in the second half. Hopefully he can keep up that level of performance consistently next year.
  18. Broughton is getting dominated in the run game over and over.
  19. Collins was lazy pursuing and gave up the big run. Relying on Collins and Broughton will be rough next year.
  20. Fucking bullshit. #3 held the shit out of Barron there. That should be a flag.
  21. He’s done a good job up the middle. If we stick with it, he’ll break off some runs. Keilan’s complete lack of vision has been killing us.
