  1. Yeah, I don’t get it. Scipio was having him on his pod pretty regularly too. Maybe they’re like us and they don’t even read what he writes. I mean the guy’s analysis article on the PK hiring was that BJ Foster was a great fit as a single high safety in PK’s scheme. I don’t know how anyone who even casually follows the program could think that makes even a lick of sense. How do you put that guy out there as the X’s and O’s expert for IT?
  2. I can’t believe you don’t want to hear the takes about who we should target in the portal from the guy who wanted to move RoJo to linebacker and Whittington to safety.
  3. Pretty much this. We were bound to run out of arms at some point during this stretch. Better to split with TXST than use up arms and run our during our in-conference weekend series.
  4. So what I gather from this page is the Football board put its best minds together and came up with Campbell having maturity issues and likely going to portal because he’s not playing in the Spring game . . . because of a wrist injury and despite him running with the ones all spring. Never change, Football board, never change.
  5. The first week? @GreenspointTexas called for Pierce’s firing the very first loss after our 16 game winning streak ended.he is beyond disgusted with 20-3 in our last 23 games and 12th in the country.
  6. You’re not even close. We’re talking about 5-6 portals needed plus the two freshmen. Our current roster is Brock Cunningham and Anamekwe. That’s it. Mitchell. Hunter, and Disu are maybes.
  7. I’m curious to see how many Day 2 picks we get. I think RoJo will go Day 2. Not sure about any others. Maybe a team falls in love with DMO, but he has a ton of bad tape, even last year. I could see a team liking his upside and going higher than 5th or 6th. When Coburn was in shape and locked in (2019 and 2022), he was extremely good and offers some pass rush from the inside.
  8. I can’t remember names, but from what I’ve seen we’re after the UVA big, the UNT guard who was conference player of the year, the USC kid, and the Rice guard. Tenn had the transfer wing that would be a good get, but I don’t know if we’re really after him. I’m sure I’m missing a few, but it seems like the staff wants 1-2 bigs and 2-3 guards/wings.
  9. We’re going to have to bring in 4-5 transfers and maybe more depending on attrition. Not all of them can be stars. If he’s willing to accept his role, then he could be a valuable transfer.
  10. Reddit actually has a decent thread on how to deal with red flags, and I saw a pretty good idea that if a Safety Car turns into a red flag, they should go back to the order of the cars at the time of the safety car. That way stewards have time to decide if a red flag is required, but cars that out under SC before a red flag is determined aren’t completely screwed over like Russell and Sainz last week. This seems like the fairest way to handle red flags instead of just making teams completely guess if a SC will turn into a red flag.
  11. They use the exact same engine as Merc. It’s not an engine issue, it’s an aero issue. Their car is too draggy compared to the others. Their floor is still very basic, so they have more room to develop than probably any other team on the grid.
  12. It sucks that we have to wait four weeks until our next race, but one upside is that probably every team but Haas will bring significant upgrades. If Ferrari or Merc are going to figure out something with their car with what they learned from testing it should get on the car in Baku. Same for Aston, if they are going to develop rapidly this year, we should see the first evidence there. Supposedly RB has a big upgrade planned for Baku, so I guess we could also see the gap grow even more considering how well all their upgrades seem to work.
  13. It’a almost like he got those numbers because he flew into the backfield every snap, never worrying about contain, while the current regime would require him to read and react so he doesn’t kill the whole defense. And guess what, Hager’s terrible at that.
  14. Narrator: They were more fucked than he thought.
  15. You should be nicer to BO&W. You're about to pass him in rep points. It's going to be a very difficult time for him.
  16. lol wut. Hager would've sucked in this system too. His problem wasn't being too small. It was shooting up field every play with no idea what he was doing and never thinking.
  17. you should definitely go check. I’m sure FanDuel has a .5 O/U on some guy like GSW scoring a TD this year.
  18. Merc is trying to call out RBs dominance in hopes the FIA/F1 nerf them with a new TD.
  19. No other union gets slaughtered like the NFLPA. Agreeing to two years of the franchise tag was so stupid. If an NFL team drafts you in the first round, they can keep you for 7 years before you get any chance to hit the open market. That’s absurd in a league with such short careers.
  20. It’s amazing how the guy drives a great race for 90-95% of it and then consistently finds new ways to throw it away Yeah, I watched the extended highlights and this race was incredible. If they would just police the dirty driving tougher/more consistently, it would be an incredible product. I still enjoy it, but too many of their races feel like the F1 race today where the first 80-90% of the race was pointless.
  21. Yeah, to me, this would’ve been the most fair. If they really felt like they needed a red flag, then do a rolling start, so you likely avoid most, if not all, of this chaos. That red flag made the previous 56 laps and basically the whole weekend pointless for a big chunk of the field.
  22. Yeah, it was going to be a shit show no matter what once they called the BS red flag. At that point, it was just a question of who got shafted by it. Any time you have a restart that late in the race, people will go for crazy moves and chaos will ensue. If Alonso actually had more pace, he would’ve got within DRS of Lewis at some point in the race. It was pretty obvious Lewis was managing the gap the whole time and the Mercs were just faster this race. Lewis had more pace left regardless of his radio messages.
  23. I will say though, watching Stroll try to outbrake Sainz and go right in the gravel on that restart was hilarious. I could tell he was going to lose it before it even happened. That clown is going to get thoroughly out-qualified and out-raced all year and still have a decent season on paper.
