  1. I feel the same way. I’m not deep into zombie knowledge, and don’t dig horror. But seeing Zeke having the ability to run really fucking fast for the first time was a neat twist. And like you, I feel it straddles the line between the genres really well. Not to mention what they could have done with the water version of Zeke. That was the most intense part of the book.
  2. Thank you for taking the time..
  3. I don’t know shit about wines, but that is a really good answer to the price point. If I could take it a step further. Could I ask you about wines in the $250-$500 range that you call a good buy?
  4. Yeah, I’m like your old man (wait, I am an old man?). I have golfed at some wonderful tracks over the years simply by listening to a sales pitch. In fact like your father I can sit there and talk shit for as long as they will have me. Most of the time I too would piss them off, and I wouldn’t get the overnight stuff. But I always got a round of golf.
  5. It’s whiskey not bourbon by definition. My understanding is the sugar charcoal mellowing process is considered an additive.
  6. I had all my rifles built (Speedy Gonzalez smith’d all of mine, he is in San Antonio) to the 10.5 weight of LV using use Kelby stocks and Krieger medium contour barrels (I use BAT actions). The adjustability of the Kelby stock allows me to shoot the same rifle in both LV and HV simply by adding weight, and/or a Nightforce scope. I use a rail gun for unlimited. Which is very similar to firing a howitzer. Get the POI right and feed the shit out of it before the wind changes. They are attention getting rig’s when on the line. Unlike most guys I tend to prefer a simple gloss black paint job with multiple coats of clear sanded with 1500 grit and buffed out. That seems to go well against the highly polished actions and barrels. I’ll post a couple of pic’s.
  7. Yeah, that is a solid find. I have not been as fortunate.
  8. That is what I went with. It was following a recommendation upthread where someone claimed that it tastes like a “Twix bar”. I bought it, I liked it. Don’t look at the label, judge the juice. It is what caused me to start doing taste tests. At $50 it held its own against some bottles I paid far more for. Solid recommendation right there.
  9. I hate to say it, but around $400
  10. It’s built off of the .220 Russian. I have competed with it for years. Unfortunately it was during Tony Boyer’s run. Nothing comes close to the 6ppc at 200 yards. I have seen scores in the 0.02 aggregate. If you can master the necking process of the case, which is a very difficult experience. You will not find a more accurate cartridge.
  11. What are you paying for 15 year old Old Fitzgerald in the glass decanter bottle?
  12. The entire episode with these two looks like amateur hour.
  13. It’s fake. Seriously, using your standard few movies would make it, especially satire. The show is slow, but it has the Monty Python feel using one liners in place of dialogue. Basically a comedy within a comedy. Hell, the fact they went 3rd grade using bathroom humor should tell you what you’re dealing with.
  14. I don’t believe that. I deal with a lot of club members. And Patrick Reed (nor anyone else on the grounds including Jack) that wished to hang around the property, would behave that way to a member.
  15. Most people learn to play golf backwards. They start with the driver and work toward the green. The proper way is learn to putt and chip. And develop a fundamental short game. It may be boring, but that skill is far more valuable than getting an additional 5 yards off of your new $500 driver....that you still push to the right.
  16. Had someone do that to me on a quote to install a backsplash in my kitchen. The number he threw out was absurd. I called up my brother who builds houses and he told me the same thing about how he was testing me to see if I'd bite, but didn't really want the job. I fucking hate trying to get an honest contractor to do anything. Contractor is a euphemism for fucking crook
  17. Yeah, I would say the writing has changed considerably. Almost like the writers were finally given license to write a storyline where the park no longer had to be the primary focus.
  18. It has gone Fucking crazy. In my area it is closer to $1500. Your numbers will get you Lot B or one of the antiques (Handy, WLW, Stagg). The distilleries are in a golden age right now. They can almost release anything. Put it in a different bottle, with Small Batch label or some shit and the hoarders will buy it up.
