  1. It’s cheesy as hell, but always fun.
  2. Please tell me you cover Third rate romance as well? Crowd may not dance, but they will try to sing the shit out of it.
  3. I saw them in a strip mall bar on some random weekday years after they were big. I was floored by how professional they were. Here they are in some shitty town, performing at some shitty bar. And yet they really cared how it sounded. By the third song it was fucking obvious how much they must have had to practice to get the songs that tight. Walked away super impressed.
  4. The laws of Celestial mechisnics dictate that when two objects collide there will be damage of a collateral nature.
  5. The cathedral of rock and roll is Ray Charles, Elvis and the Beatles. Charles was the foundation, he made the melody, time signature and gospel hymns an acceptable and commercial success. Elvis the walls, he brought it to white America. And the Beatles the roof, as their creativity quickly developed the sound from simple songs to more complex melodies and time signatures. Including orchestration, unusual instruments and far more serious lyrics. It took each of them to make the sound mainstream. And everybody today is simply doing their version of what those three had already done. It may be more polished, more intense and make more money, but it ain’t original.
  6. It’s a fucking light saber, not a sparkler.
  7. Doesn’t LSU have a history of bidding against themselves?
  8. Yeah, need a pic of both the electronics (looking for bumblebee capacitors) and pick ups (PAF stickers only or don’t bother with it).
  9. Are we the only two who think this? It has Ray Davies “Celluloid Hero’s” written all over it.
  10. The Sub, not Daytona was for diving.
  11. Yeah, but J.J. Abrams fucked up the camera work in TFA so far as making him menacing. Unless that is what he wanted. Until I saw Logan Lucky I had no idea that the guy was as big as he is, Close to 6’-3”, and 210 lbs. He should have towered over Ridley’s 5’-6” frame. Especially in character and costumes.
  12. Actually, to take your analogy one more step. They actually used some 3rd party parts. So you are getting a Chrysler built Mustang.......with a GM engine....
  13. Wow, that is just wow...I can cover a pour at that price. But unless I got caught up in the moment. I would not let go of the cash. Getting caught up in the moment has been a problem for me over the years.
  14. Man, I don’t know you. But you are Aces in my book. My father broke me in 90 days. Seriously, he got a UTI shortly after having hernia surgery. He would have moments where his reality would go back in time in a very arbitrary manner. His last words to me while he reached out to me with frail hands was “Charlie’s inside the wire”. He started to scream while crying and told me to run, try and save myself. It was one of the most disturbing episodes of my life. It did however make me realize I’m a petty man. It forced me to not only change my life. But to appreciate the small things, appreciate the moment. And no way could I work in that environment.
  15. What I’m interested in is how does allowing communication between coaches and QB’s for the entire game really impact it? In the NFL the Comm shuts down with 15 seconds left on the play clock. In this league it will be possible to speak with the QB during the entire game. So we may see the OC yell “34 post wide open, throw it”. I’m sorry that just seems fun as hell to me.
  16. Man. You can sink a shot when no one is guarding the net.
  17. Riiight, because there is no way one has influence on the other.
  18. Seriously? Colorado has been dirty for years. Just google it, they don’t hide that shit. Barnett was a poor man’s McCartney.
  19. Other than those 50 something violations from Barnett you’re clean as a whistle.
  20. Nah, pointing out to the guy who’s knee he just dislocated, just how fucking much it hurts getting your knee dislocated in Roadhouse.
  21. So that I have a point of reference. What constitutes rich folks? $15,000 $50,000, $100,000 in a checking account? Please share what you define as rich.
