  1. “Might be our easiest conference win” is what it will be. This is the worst team in the conference by a wide margin. They just lost at home by double digits to the second worst team. Only UH is as bad a team in the Big 12 this year and those are probably the worst P4 teams. These guys are slow, undersized, undermanned via injury, and look poorly coached. Along with Ohio State, I think Texas is the fastest team in the country. This is a match-up made in heaven by the football gods for Texas when it comes to “welcome to the SEC” bullshit. Hey motherfuckers, Texas is not locked in here with you. You’re locked in here with Texas.
  2. — It looked like Texas redshirt freshman DT Sydir Mitchell got into a heated argument with a teammate in the second half before being escorted from the field back to the locker room. A source close to the situation said, "Sydir is having a hard time at Texas. It's been very rough for him." Mitchell (6-6, 350) has played 20 snaps this season after having to get his weight down from 372 pounds in the spring. He didn't play against ULM before being escorted from the field.
  3. Don’t put that shit on me. They have plenty of people around them that have to know what to tell them about that stuff. Surely.
  4. Ha. I don’t know that one. I laughed at his bullshit at the end though. If you ask Bobby on OTF, he might recall it. Hell, he or Gerry.
  5. This is going to be one of those grim “where are they now” stories when they check in on him in 10 years at his mom’s house in New Jersey. They’ll be interviewing him while he’s trapped inside a gravy-encrusted concrete chair as he admits that he spent the majority of his 6 figure NIL from Texas on the local chinese buffet and an industrial grade ice cream maker.
  6. Update on snap counts and injuries for the maroon clad dipshits: -TJ Shanahan started at C and took about 20 snaps before suffering some sort of injury that they’re not allowed to disclose but he didn’t return. If he’s really hurt, they are absolutely fucked at C. -Moose Muhammad took exactly zero snaps while perfectly healthy on the sidelines. He’s apparently a real piece of work in the locker room or something. -The same is true for highly touted 4 and 5 stars from the vaunted 2022 class - Donovan Green (a walk on got some snaps at TE ahead of him), GabrielBrownlow-Dindy (they need to pass the hat at his dad’s church and see if they can’t buy his fatass some snaps), Jared Kerr, Enai White (they are no longer even listing him as someone with the team but they haven’t said he’s left), and Malik Scylla. Well, Scylla got one snap, which might be worse. It’s like he was accidentally sent in. -Shemar Stewart left with a serious shoulder injury and did not return. That’s another big one to watch. -Bryce Anderson started and played 21 snaps but left with an injury. -Future hall of famers Reuben Fatheree took 20 snaps and Kam Dooooobie Doobie Dewberry logged 16 whopping snaps at G while someone was injured for a couple of drives. This is a bad team loaded with no-talent assclowns and they’ve got guys dropping like flies over there.

  8. The OU mods were reporting that he’d be at their matchup with Tennessee.
  9. I’ve always thought Freeze was a good coach. I’m now wondering how far off base that view might really be when reviewing his work. At Ole Miss, they were aggying the bag game before the aggies showed up and did it too. They were paying double what anyone else would and amassed serious talent. Then it all fell apart. At Liberty, they basically play an FCS schedule. Anyone can win there with that bullshit. Now at Auburn, you can’t outspend everyone all of the time and the schedule is tough. So what happens? They’re a mediocre program with a piece of shit for a HC that the lunatic fanbase is beginning to discover it doesn’t like very much. As much as I would like to see Auburn beat OU and ATM, I can get behind just watching Hugh Freeze burn that thing down to the studs.
  10. Mississippi State is easily the worst team in the SEC. They can’t run, they can’t pass, they can’t tackle, and they can’t defend the pass for shit. They adore Jackie Sherrill and his clown obsession. These idiots think cowbells are innovative and intimidating. ULM has better personnel at multiple positions compared to these redneck dipshits. Texas wins by more than 50.
  11. Yes. Heupel confirmed that he went fully conservative in the post game. He had a multi-score lead against a terrible offense and chose to grind the defense with his power and depth. Which he did. Is this some sort of meme for folks here? I feel like I’ve seen that notion challenged on here a few times. What in the fuck are you guys watching if you didn’t see that Texas decided to comfortably get out of Ann Arbor with a win and just play keep away in the second half of that game?
  12. “And that App State team with all of that experience was really good too!!” They went 6-6 and weren’t invited to a bowl.
  13. Auburn’s penchant for turning the ball over and OU’s penchant for creating turnovers is not a good combo for Auburn. I expect the OU mash unit to win comfortably on the road. Hugh Freeze is just a dick with ears in the era of NIL and the portal when he’s forced to run a program in a real conference. It read like you were claiming the offense had pieces, and I had the same thoughts as Mitch, frankly.
  14. An off week is still after Auburn and won’t be fixing season ending injuries. People claiming the “OU defense is legit” didn’t pay any attention to what Heupel decided to do last night.
  15. OU has absurd injury issues at this point. -They lost Dolby (cheetah starter, kind of like a bad version of Barron) for the season and maybe ever with a dislocated ankle. -Burks left the game and is rumored on their 247 board to have a season ending issue. No idea if valid but the dude is hurt with a lower leg injury and that nullifies his overrated value. -Anderson severely reinjured his quad and may be done for the year. -Anthony isn’t playable because he’s a shadow of his former self. -Tatum has a neck injury or concussion or both. -Terry has a vagina and has now been helped off the field more times this season than they’ve played games. It’s hilarious. -Jayden Jackson has a shoulder injury. -Danny Stutsman has a weird head injury that causes him to disappear from within 5 yards of the LOS in big games. Dude had 3 tackles last night and Tennessee literally ran the ball 50 times. -Oh and now they’ve sunsetted their previously perceived savior at QB for a true freshman who looks like an Alex Orji starter kit. Venables wouldn’t commit to either QB in the postgame press conference and might be cooking up a divisive QB controversy if we’re really lucky. If I’m Arnold’s helicopter parents, I’m pulling him from school now and connecting with the folks at North Texas regarding guarantees for next season.
  16. I thought that Florida was going to blow MSU out in this one. I understimated Florida’s incompetence.
  17. Some of these guys, and the “bonfarr” poster in particular, with the “players don’t notice cheerleaders” notion and then talking about his experience in high school. Tell us more, Elton. Half of the fucking reason I played football was due to the cheerleaders and drill team. I’m quite certain I am not the only one.
  18. Also, sounds like Nebraska lost their LT and kind of star CB for long periods, if not the season. Tougher row to hoe from here after the gimme next week at Purdue. October goes: Rutgers (basically Illinois), at Indiana (they’re good) and at Ohio State. Could be 4-4 to start November and gripping like a Bagwell in the postseason trying to get to bowl eligibility from there.
  19. Illinois went into Lincoln and just whipped Nebraska’s ass on both sides of the ball in the second half, particularly the 4th quarter and overtime. -Nebraska rushed for 7 yards on 11 carries in the second half. -Altmeyer only threw for 215 yards but was perfect on TDs (4) to picks (0). Just took what Nebraska was offering, over and over. -If you’re going to have the audacity to claim that you’re the second coming of Patrick Mahomes, you should specify that you mean the loser version in college. Otherwise, everyone ultimately expects you to win games late and, well, not off to a good start on that one. I don’t like cheering for Bielema, but it was fun doing so last night.
  20. Oh, I’ve said from the jump that he’s better than Howard. Day fucked up his handling of the QB1 situation coming out of the fall. Still sick of hearing about McCord.
  21. It’s just baffling that Syracuse left the corner on an island against Ayomanor on 4th and 9. Seems crazy stupid. Maybe now we can hear less about McCord being the best thing since sliced bread.
  22. I've spoilered below a fun story from The Athletic by Bruce Feldman that overlays the journey of General Booty over that of Arch Manning. There are some interesting parallels and thoughts from folks involved. I remember some of the Booty/Evangel stuff, so this was entertaining to read and recall.
  23. Regarding Stokes, that height, and likely wingspan accompanying it, probably has the Texas coaches pretty interested.
  24. Apparently, Gerry took some psychedelics this morning, then channeled the psyche of @Wulaw Horn , and then he wrote a 2025 NFL draft post. I've spoilered it below. It's not quite the "push the fucking pedal through the floorboard" insanity of Wu, but it's trending there. 1) Trey Moore isn't getting drafted, guys. He's undersized and he's not making notable plays. I don't care if the film looks fine for assignment, he needs to be making some plays at the P4 level. 2) DJ Campbell isn't opting out of another year for a low round draft grade. He can make the same money at Texas and elevate his grade by staying for 2025. 3) Jaydon Blue will have to go nuts soon and stay there if he's intent on going pro in a draft class considered extremely deep at TB. "He's super fast and has great hands!" is great and all. He's undersized and he doesn't have a ton of film.
  25. That’s next level Ryan Day shit right there. Wow. If I’m HJ, I’m packing up and moving, right now.
