  1. "Bend, but don't break." I remember being frustrated early on with Will Muschamp because our defense gave up so many yards. But he kept opposing teams out of the end zone, and we won games.
  2. A team led by Haynes King is ranked #6. Let that sink in.

They did a much better job dodging their bowl loss. Today, they've already been exposed.

It's shocking how underrated Sam Houston is. Going toe-to-toe with the #6, national-title-contending Texas aggy is darn impressive.
  5. From Austin, Texas baby: FIGHT!
  6. Dann, this kid is a stud.
  7. I don't recall Peter being named in that sort of thing. Peter was in law school out-of-state in the 2005-2010 timeframe and worked for Jackson Walker in Austin after he graduated, iirc. So he made it through the Bar's character & fitness review and got hired by a reputable firm. (Unlikely that he had hostages and blow jobs on his record.)
  8. I really enjoyed BON back in the mid to late 2000s, when Peter Bean ran it. Wescott is unbearable, though.
  9. He has highlights?
  10. So can we just hand it off to Bijan every down?
  11. Yet again... sigh
  12. Card did a lot of running last year, he just isn't very good at it.
  13. Who wakes up in the morning and thinks, "Today is a great day to get crowdsourced?"
  14. If it's Whittington or Omeire...
  15. I had remembered Card missing open receivers -- both missing the fact that they are open (and thus not throwing at all) and seeing them open but throwing a bad pass. However, I had forgotten about his poor decision-making, or maybe it's low football IQ. At one point, he was scrambling, and if he had just run north/south he would have had a pretty easy 4th down conversion. But instead of running north/south, he inexplicably cut to the sideline and almost didn't make it to the marker. Also, when he scrambled, it's like he thought the play was already over and was just trying to minimize lost yards on the sack. He completely lost track of his receivers and the fact that he could still throw the ball for a gain. And way too many times, when we were on 3rd, he would check down or otherwise throw underneath. Especially against Arkansas, the probability of converting on Greg Davis passes was very low. Yet time and again, that's where he was putting the ball. I don't doubt that he's improved in the off-season, but Card's biggest faults -- the mental ones -- are also the hardest to fix. Let's go, Ewers.
  16. I watched his reel from that game several times. Some of his "drops" were uncatchable, and others, while catchable, would have been difficult. It wasn't like 7 Ingram-vs-LSU drops or anything like that.
  17. Hook 'em!
  18. The jokes write themselves, folks
  19. There the worst. One of these days, their going to wake up and realize that they're preseason expectations are pure fantasy.
  20. Jimbo's X leaves her backdoor open at the Salvation Army Store
  21. Political jokes are fine... in CR. The problem is, if you drop one political joke in a recruiting thread or the like, other posters will respond in turn, and the entire thread will derail. Keep it in CR.
  22. That's not a firehose, Brent
  23. “Y’all getting a lot of money from the people behind these suites if you decide to come play here”* *If crypto rebounds 1000% by the time you arrive.
  24. Man, I bet Jimbo is in total shock from that video. On one day, he thinks he landed the #1 class of all time based on his charm and football prowess; the next day, he learns that his team has been promising cash payments to players on their visits. What a shock that must be for him.
  25. Let's go!
