I don't watch TV that much and hadn't noticed that sling doesn't have locals. I'm not sure how important that is to me. I like that it has LHN and Nick Jr., neither of which is on YouTube TV.

Aah, I missed that. I am in my sling trial and really like it. I'm considering canceling YouTube TV and switching to sling now.

Here's one thing I've realized comparing Sling and vidgo. To get lhn on sling, you have to select the orange package + the sports package. With that combination, you can stream to only 1 device at a time. However, it appears that vidgo lets you stream to as many as 3 devices at once. So if you want to show the game on multiple screens at the same time (for a party, or if your fucking family members won't stop talking over the game), then vidgo might be the better option.

Orange + sports extra. You can see if you scroll all the way to the bottom of this page. https://www.sling.com/channels/longhorn-network

Thanks. I had Google fiber the last several years but recently moved, and Google doesn't offer it anymore. I'm trying YouTube TV right now. It checks all the boxes except LHN. So I might add Sling or Vidgo for the season. It just seems ridiculous to pay $40-$50/mo in exchange for probably 12 hours of fb games. Edit: should have mentioned that I'll start with the trial

What do you think? I'm deciding between sling and vidgo.
  7. We are doooomed. UTEP is going in NLAA. Especially without Jake Smith, I don't see how we can pull this off.
  8. Customer service, whatever it takes
  9. Well, not really, but whatever. You're guessing he's out because Chip said he's doubtful. Got it.
  10. Are you seeing something that Jake Smith is definitely out? All I see is the Chip Brown tweet, which says he is doubtful. Granted, a hamstring injury on Wednesday probably means he is out on Saturday...
  11. He would need bigger hands to play safety
  12. https://youtu.be/7lH18HdohIQ What jumps out to me is not his size or speed, but just how oily his hips really are. Wow! /s Looks like a great pickup. Hook 'em!
  13. "next season"..... Whatever that means. In any event, welcome and hook 'em!
  14. We love ours. There are cheaper options, but the combination of features that Peloton offers and the ease of access make it something that I will/do use, and that's what matters most to me.
  15. Once you contract the virus, it takes 8 days for your body to develop the antibodies that the test detects. So they want to see that your symptoms began at least 8 days prior to when you get tested.
  16. I think recent cold/flu symptoms is all they want to see. I have been fighting a respiratory virus for several weeks. Some symptoms are similar to COVID - cough, labored breathing - but unlike typical COVID symptoms my fever has been low, and I haven't had body aches or chills. Nevertheless, they wanted to test me. I didn't even ask for it. They suggested that I do it. Also, whatever I have, I picked up from a family member who, in turn, picked it up traveling in Thailand and Japan in late January - early February. So that may have been part of why the provider wanted to test me. Edit: the only caveat is that to be eligible for the antibody test, your symptoms must have started at least a week or two ago. I don't know what the cutoff is, but I think it is something like 10 days. So even if you have really severe symptoms, if you have only had them for a couple of days, you would not be eligible for the antibody test.
  17. Good deal. They didn't tell me anything, and I felt like an idiot driving aimlessly around this empty parking lot.
  18. Not sure if they told you... You want to enter the stadium from the frontage road, and once you are in the parking lot, take an immediate right down a little road. You'll see the white tents set up. You drive to the left hand side of the tents and park in one of the spots marked with a sign. They also wanted me to text when I had arrived.
  19. It's definitely the antibody test. They got 5,000 test kits over the weekend and started testing Saturday I think. The clinic is surprisingly not that busy, so I think they're being flexible about who can get the antibody test. You can wait in your car and get results in about 15 minutes.
